Every Sunday, Kissimmee lanes does unlimited bowling for $8.00 starting at 11pm-1:30am.
My roommate goes every Sunday night and this past sunday I decided to tag a long. A friend of ours makes sure to reserve a lane, just in case it's busy...GOOD IDEA! In our case, it was about 1/2 full in the bowling alley. Apparently they need at least 30 people to be there for "unlimited bowling" or they will close at normal hours at 11pm.
Staff there is awesome. Travis is one of the bar tenders, boyfriend of my friend. He doesn't give us any discounts on drinks but gives great service while talking with the customers as they order their pitchers of beer for their lanes. The couple of people behind the counter make sure that there is fun bowling music playing throughout the night. You can always make a request if there's something you'd like to hear...and watch the videos on the screens of lanes with no bowlers. Everyone smiles and encourages people to have fun.
I think I had either a "not strong enough" throw or something cause whenever it was my turn to bowl, the lane wouldn't always register my score right. It gave me a couple of freebie spares and because it didn't reset, another chance to knock down pins. Now granted, I bowl with a 7 or 8 lb ball cause I'm a weakling but it was great and helped my score. ;) lol.
This is a fun place to hang out and there are always promotions going on. I think currently during the day on sundays it's 13.99 for all you can bowl and pizza by the slice. Makes a great place for families or groups to come hang out on a Sunday. But try to reserve a lane if you have a large party, just to be safe.
Also, they are advertising for spring and summer league bowling so check it out when you are there!
