This place is a godsend for anyone working on a metric vehicle. The couple that runs the store are AWESOME. Very very helpful and quite entertaining. I stopped in today to get all new hardware for the 1981 Yamaha I'm rebuilding. They know their stuff. I was in and out with every bolt I needed in 10 minutes, and at about 1/10th what Yamaha wanted to charge me for lower quality parts. Support your local business! You won't get service like this at a Home Depot.

This place is kind of hard to find. No store front or even sign on building. It's a door with a small sign that say Ametric with the address number. So make sure to look hard, it is there!

I rang the "doorbell" and a nice lady opened the door. I told her what I needed and she knew exactly what type of screws they were and in less than a minute she had them in hand and put them in a plastic bag for me. She was very sweet and we ended up talking for a few minutes.

Why not 5 stars? The price...it was $4.95 for 10 screws. Now maybe because they were European sized screws that's why the price was so much, but I still find that price on the steep side.

They don't take credit cards so bring cash. But this place definitely seems the place to go for your odd sized nails/screws and other construction materials!

Needed some metric bolts for my old Honda CB350 and one of my buddies that deals with mopeds quite a bit said this was great sronghold for real metric hardware. Indeed, there is only a sign on the door, and a doorbell to push to get someone to open. There is an older european couple running the place and when I asked for the specific pieces they knew what I needed and pulled the parts right there. The gentleman asked what it was for and he confirmed the grade of bolts for being better than what I needed and the stock bolts I was replacing were pretty bad stuff.

Awesome place for the specific metric hardware bits you can't always find at local little hardware shop all while being sold to you by the Oma and Opa you never knew. Very charming.
