My family and I will definitely be coming back!
First off we got a free upgrade to a river-view room which was just gorgeous
It is literally steps away from the Old Mill dist. with shops, restaurants, a lovely walking trail/playground on the Deschutes. It is also a 3-minute drive to downtown Bend
We have 2 small children who absolutely loved the nice heated pool/spa, freshly baked cookies at night, and a really good complimentary breakfast (eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffles, fruit, juices, coffee)
Next time I think we'll splurge and get the 2-story suite! -

We love this place! Beautiful rooms, great breakfast, good-looking hotel inside and out, great location! A little pricey but not too bad for every once in a great while.

First stay and it won't be the last!
The place is huge and the rooms are large,clean and comfy.
Wifi is a bit of a pain. Poor connection on the 3rd level where my room is.
Great location. walking distance to the mill shopping district. Also not far from downtown bend.
Free breakfast and parking. What a gem! -

Since I've been here the last time they have upped the Wifi and the ethernet internet speed. I got 10MBPS down and 4MBPS up, a significant upgrade, they are definitely listening and it made my business stay significantly more productive and enjoyable.
The staff is still friendly, they always have fresh cookies at night and a 24-hour mini-store.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Best hotel in Bend for the money.
24-hour pool, giant hot tub, great location near the Old Mill shopping district. I've stayed here four times now just to use the pool and so that I didn't have to drive home after a few too many at Anthony's.
The beds are really comfortable, and the air-conditioning units are strong but silent, which I appreciate.
The continental breakfast is worth about $15 by itself, in my opinion. Omelets & big waffles cooked to order, platters of fresh fruit, a great selection of juices and coffee, racks of bacon and sausage.
Highly recommended. -

A friend and I stayed here for my birthday. The hotel was gorgeous. Lobby is spacious, with lots of rock work and a large fireplace. Staff was very friendly. Loved the location--overlooking the Old Mill District. Was in walking distance to shops and restaurants as well as the Deschutes River. Room was very clean...bed was super comfy. Free Wifi was a big bonus! All in all I had a great time and will definitely stay here again.

Phenomenal. We stayed here for my brother's wedding with a large (& not exactly quiet) group of people & Ameritel could not have been more accomodating. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly & knowledgable, and the rooms were spacious and well kept. The pool/spa and workout room (which was large and stocked with good equipment) were open 24 hours, & to top it all off, the free breakfast buffet was comparable to Sunday brunch at a decent restaurant.
