I needed a convenient hotel close to work to stay for a couple of days.... and this was what I ended up with. It ended up being a pleasant surprise. Convenient location... right in the Hacienda Crossings. If any of you know the Pleasanton-Dublin area, it is right off of 580, smack dab in a shopping center, walking distance to at least a dozen restaurants, a movie theater and shopping.
While I knew all that it was close to, my room had pretty much all that I needed. Ample amounts of toilet paper, security, good parking, coffee maker, microwave, strong shower head, king sized bed (pillow top), internet access (very buggy), free breakfast, very helpful staff, indoor gym... didn't use it... work tired me out. Too much to list!
I would recommend this place. I didn't get to go enjoy the shopping, movies, or the breakfast. I loved that it was a 3 minute drive to work. It did bother me that they didn't line my 2 trash cans. I know, I am weird, but I can throw some serious trash out that you'd want bagged up.... if you get my drift. Kleenex and snot.... I KNOW what you were thinking, GAWD, it's cold season, you pig.

Worst place I've ever stayed. We had to stay here for a few nights because there were plumbing issues in our apartment complex. When we got here, we had to switch rooms twice because the 2 previous rooms weren't clean yet (or there were people still staying in the room; we didn't stay to find out). The room we finally got was very drab and uncomfortable. We had to call housekeeping for towels because they didn't even stock those in the room. We hated the room so much that we decided to use the hotel room only a few hours a day, to use the bathroom and take a shower. When our apartment manager notified us that the plumbing problem in our complex was extended by another day, I called to ask the hotel clerk if our apartment manager had contacted them to extend our stay and she confirmed that it had been done. I asked her if I was going to have to switch rooms (I had left some expensive products in the bathroom and wanted to know if I had to come by to pick them up), and she told me no, everything would be fine, but I'd have to come by to have my key card re-keyed since it was originally keyed in to check out that day. I told her no problem and I'd come by that evening, but just wanted to make sure they didn't move me into a different room. So I show up later and what had they done? They checked me out COMPLETELY because "room service had notified them that it looked like no one was staying there". I told her that I spoke to someone who specifically told me my room was going to be extended and I would not have to switch rooms, but she said she'd already checked me out of the room and would need my apartment manager to approve another night since they were the ones paying for it. Since my apartment manager's office was closed, we had nowhere to go and shower or use the restroom. What kind of hotel checks you out of your room without contacting you first, just because your room looks unused??? And if this is a usual practice for them, why didn't they note my record after speaking to me so that this wouldn't happen??? I will never, ever stay here again or recommend this dump.
