Quite possibly the nastiest place on earth. Smelly, filthy, etc. They barely have anything in stock and what is stocked is usually expired. If you enjoy flicking cigarette butts off your cases of beer in the cold room before buying, then by all means shop at Ameristop-Dayton. You're sure to overhear some rivetting, white-trash conversation. Possibly even get to witness a fist fight in the parking lot. Do yourself a favor and skip this cesspool and opt for Hansman's down the street.
The Ameristop is a good place to buy gas, change out your propane tank, or pick up sodas or snacks. They also have a deli and a small selection of produce and groceries. It's kind of tricky entering off of 6th Ave. because of a strange median, so you might want to use the side street.
