My experience with Amerisave Mortgage was great. I received an excellent mortgage rate of which they locked in from when I first called until closing. I received continual customer communication via e-mail and telephone to expedite this process. If you are looking to refinance or re-consolidate with a new mortgage Amerisave will make you feel comfortable. Overall I am extremely satisfied with Amerisave Mortgage customer service.

I was hesitant at first to choose a mortgage broker like Amerisave that I found by chance on the Internet.  Any qualms I had quickly disappeared once I started working with Jeff, Amerisave's representative .  I locked in a great rate and Jeff quickly sent the paperwork we needed to complete.  Given what has happened to the mortgage market over the past year I found there was much more documentation required than in previous refinancings, but Jeff was on top of everything and kept things moving along.  I was most pleased at the closing because Amerisave sent someone to my house at a time that was convenient for me.  I recommend Amerisave with any reservations.

This was the smoothest closing that I have ever gone through. They gave me a list of items needed to close my loan, I turned it in and was approved in a matter of days. Great job Amerisave! I highly recommend and will definitely use Amerisave Mortgage again!

They were straight up front about the rate and fees and the service was excellent as well!

To begin, I spoke to one individual, sent him all of the info he asked for (tax, W-2, bank) and then he just disappeared. I tried to call him and got a message that his phone was no longer in service. This made me feel good that one of there now former employees has all of my info. I finally got a in touch with someone at the company.

   They promise $1000 if you do not close in time. What they do not tell you, that does not apply if you are doing a FHA loan. I found that out after we did not close on time.

   THEN, someone at Amerisave forgot to order the appraisal. The day before we were to close, my wife had to track the appraiser they were suppose to have contacted and had him rush the order that day.

   Next, the appraisal paperwork had an error (which was fixed in less than an hour), so they pulled out of line to the underwriters and set us back 72 hours. Since it was a Wednesday, we couldn't hear anything until Monday.

   On Monday, we finally heard back. Told us we were not approved for a reason that was later explained to our current mortgage company who approved the loan. I tried to fix it originally through Amerisave, but could not get a call back.

   The Worst Customer Service!!!

6-15 First contact
6=16 sent all info
6-26 Could not find rep had to get new rep and resend everything Closing set for 7-30
7-29 Still no appraisal, WE contact appraiser
7-30 Closing day (did not close; pushed back thanks to Amerisave)
8-4 Was told loan was not approved; called and left messages; still no response.

I refinanced with Amerisave Mortage and do not share the opinion of the previous poster.  I do not have any complaints about the service I received.  From beginning to end it was a great experience.  Any problems or questions were anwsered immediately, I never had a problem getting in touch with my loan advisor either by phone or via email.  I would recommend Amerisave mortgage to all of my friends.  My family saved alot of money and we are very satisfied.

Amerisave Mortgage Provided Excellent Service

I refinanced with amerisave mortgage and had absolutly no complaints. My loan adviser was wonderful. He was very knowledgable and kept in touch every step of the way. I shopped around for a while and they had the best rates!! We closed on time and it was nice that they come right to our house to close!! I was very happy with my experiencewith amerisave and would use them again.

I was looking to refinance to consolidate my rental home mortgage and HELOC.  Amerisave had the best rates for any type of loan that I could want.  I submitted an application, but didn't lock on a rate.  Karen Shumski, one of the reps there, repeatedly called me once every other day to see if I was ready to lock, even though on my app I had ask that I not be contacted.  Anyways, once I locked, I had to get an appraisal.  Everything hinged on the appraisal, as it determined how much I could actually take out.  I informed Ms. Shumski that we had concerns about the loan going through, but suddenly, Ms. Shumski was hard to track down.  She didn't return my calls.  She didn't return my emails.  For someone that is banking on a loan going through, you'd think that you would try to do everything possible to help it along.  I saw none of that from Ms. Shumski.

I think if you're not in a situation where everything is banking on your appraisal, then Amerisave may save you a lot of money.  If you're in the same boat as I was, then using Amerisave will just cost you time and money.  Customer service sucks, once they have you locked in.
