I can't really add much to the reviews here, other than they are telling the truth. Chuck is really good at what he does, and he if you ask about the technical aspects of the cleaning, he will go down to the pH balance and other scientific stuff. I don't normally give 5-star ratings (if you look at my reviews), but Chuck deserves it.
My recommendation is to go into the deal expecting mediocrity so that you may get a pleasant surprise. -

Chuck is a friendly person, chatty, honest and does not sell you up on cleaning aids, or additional rooms. He owns and works his own personal business, listens to what you want done, inspects the area and advises what he is going to do prior to starting work. The cleaning hoses attach to his own van, hooks up your water hose and then his machine heats the water to a steam, he uses a combination of steam and hot water extraction to clean the carpets.
He is not the cheapest on Yelp but probably one of the best, his 3 room and hallway rate was under $200. He pays attention to what he is doing and was in and out in just under two hours.
We have a new stainmaster carpet that requires mandatory cleaning every 2 years to keep the warranty and Chuck was the man to get the carpet cleaned in the way they wanted. He does take pride in his work and ensures you are happy before leaving. He takes payment either as cash or check.
I would recommend Chuck for all your carpet cleaning needs. -

I have never been totally satisfied with Carpet Cleaners until now. Chuck worked miracles on our pet stained carpets and he was a pleasure to work with. We will use him again and I highly recommend Ameripro to anyone.

I called Ameripro today for carpet cleaning. Here is part of the message that I heard from their answering machine: "I specialize in single family homes. I don't do apartment complexes, condos, or town homes. Sorry about that." Hmmm... since I live in a town home, can I claim discrimination?

We just had Chuck in to clean all of the carpets in the 1800 sq ft home we just purchased. My experience matched what I'd read about him on Yelp before calling him. He did a great job -- everything looks and smells much cleaner now. When I called, he asked several questions and was able to quote me a price over the phone and then didn't try to upsell me when he showed up. He showed up right on time, was friendly, and seemed to really know his stuff about carpets. He was friendly, chatty, and full of great tips. I'd definitely use his services again next time we need carpets cleaned.

I have used Chuck twice within 2-week period. He did a great job the first time that I decided to have the rest of the house done. I also had him steam clean the tile. I REALLY liked that the carpets were not saturated with water. They dried within a few hours. He was meticulous to make sure furniture legs were not left bare on the carpet. Chuck - Ameripro will be the only carpet-tile cleaner I will use. I have used around 5 different carpet cleaners in 22 yrs. Chuck, himself is a very nice man. He knows his business. I highly recommend him.

Chuck the Artisan Carpet Cleaner
I can not say enough great things about this guy & the service he provides. I'm not easily impressed and upon reading all the 5-star reviews I thought to myself..."man this guy must have a lot of relatives on Yelp."
He is just as good as advertised if not better.
Friendly, meticulous attention to detail, and a true artist of his craft.

I had Chuck clean our carpet back in February and he did such a fantastic job. He surveys our house, and gave us honest feedback about what to expect. His cost is also very fair!
Just one note: he only accepts checks (at least back in Feb 2011). I couldn't for the life of me find my checkbook. Chuck was super cool and told me that I could mail it to him instead. So understanding! -

I called up Chuck to have him give our carpets some TLC. While our carpets are in pretty good condition (5 years old), i felt it was time for them to be freshened up.
We do have a small puppy to there were small dirt stains here and there. I do have a spot cleaner that I've used in the meantime but seeing how my stairs were turning brownish, I needed to do something.
Chuck offered a fair rate and offered to move furniture if he needed to - which is to me, going above and beyond. Now I wasn't home when he was there, I did come home to freshly cleaned carpets. The carpet is spotless including areas under my beds and chairs. The carpet was fuller with more life and a softness that reminded me of the first day I walked on them.

Chuck really is the man! After calling at least a dozen carpet cleaners for estimates, Chuck won us over when he told me (having no guarantee he'd be getting the job) that he was in the area and going to stop over to assess the situation and make sure it was a do-able job in the first place. Trust me -- nobody else does this. And let me tell you... he was in for a challenge: 30 year old wall-to-wall worn/stained carpeting that our landlord gave no indication of replacing anytime soon.
Fortunately for us, Chuck was up for it. He was able to come out quickly, answer all our questions about green cleaning agents (which he does offer!), and really blew us away making this 30-yr old carpet look nearly new again. (*Just for the record, we actually decided against the green cleaners since our carpets were SO filthy... but it's great to know they're an option he offers).
As if that isn't enough, Chuck's a true renaissance man who loves to talk about everything from carpets to genes and molecular biology. He's a super nice, friendly guy who takes enormous pride in what he does and works really hard to make you happy with your investment. That's the type of local business I like to support. -

Chuck is a hard-working, courteous person who really knows what he's doing when it comes to carpet cleaning. He actually did more for us than we expected. He got all our stains out, very happy with the results.
The price was fair as well. He was upfront in his business matter, no additional fees, no coupon haggling. It was a pleasant experience that we will surely repeat next year when the carpets need cleaning again.

I was extremely impressed with Chuck at Ameripro Carpet Cleaning. My carpet was a mess after 5 years of three small pets (2 dogs and a cat) and lots of pet "accidents." Chuck took my carpets back to looking nearly brand new! Not only that, but he was friendly, patient, took his time on the hard to clean spots and was great with and around the pets.

Chuck was very thorough! We had a problem with cat urine on our couches and he worked very hard to get them out. He wasn't positive if the smell would go away, but he told us to be patient and let things dry and the chemicals work - so we did and it worked. It wasn't a quick fix, but it saved us a lot of money as well as our favorite couch.
While he was doing the couches we also had him do the carpets. He got out stains that Stanly Steamer said they couldn't get out when we first moved in, plus he some of our own wear-and-tear from the past few years.
He was very professional and put his whole heart into his work. We appreciate his hard work and would recommend him anytime. -

Chuck is a Carpet Guru, a warm and honest individual, but truly a perfectionist when it comes to his trade. . . I'm wishing now that I took before and after pictures of my carpets, because the transformation is unbelievable . . . now I'm one of Those People who ask guests to remove their shoes before entering my domain!
He spent way more time than I had expected him to, making sure that my carpets were in top-notch shape before leaving, and charged an incredibly reasonable rate considering all the TLC that he put into the cleaning.
I really can't say enough good things about Ameripro . . . it's rare to come across such service, and Chuck really is Good People. I'd highly recommend him to anyone with carpet stains, issues or odors. -

I have full trust in this company. I got suckered into thinking I could save money by those dam coupons. wrong. Chuck came out and remembered me. Wow After 4 years he still had me on file. One man operation so don't expect to get an operator. He takes pride in his work and will give you the straight answers you need.
Oh, also watch out for the OTHER cheap companies. The upsale is horrible like another yelper said. Once I bought a 99 dollar service the guy came, looked at the berber and licked his chops. Additional hundred bucks for some kind of ultrawhite and 50 bucks for some super sealent. Guess what, the stains came back up in two weeks. Carpet cleaning is not a perfect
I forgot to mention I have white Berber carpets. oh and a 2 year old. I have to call him again.
UPDATE: I'm glad to hear I was able to start a fire and get an honest man alot of work. See the power of Yelp? I would have never though of mentioning this but I felt the need was there. I'm glad everyone got correct service at the right price. Taking pride in what you do for a living makes the work day go great. -

Chuck, the owner of Ameripro takes a lot of pride in his work. He brought my micro-fiber sectional sofa back to life, and even apologized for pet stains that wouldn't come out...stains I could no longer see but he could under his close scrutiny. He's prompt, honest, and professional.
Be sure you give him plenty of time to finish, because he is a perfectionist and he likes to make sure he is thorough. He also takes some time in the beginning to think about how he'll do the job (moving furniture, best place to put wet cushions, etc), and you may wonder why he's taking so long to get started....but seriously, just leave him alone and he'll figure it out.
I highly recommend you use him to clean your furniture ( I cannot comment on carpet, but he's probably just as fastidious with carpet as he is with furniture). -

I originally hired Chuck to come clean the carpets of my first home that I just purchased back in August because I wanted a fresh new start. I thought then that Chuck did an amazing job and my husband told me all about the expert advice that Chuck had about the different types of carpets throughout our house.
Even though I thought Chuck did a great job, he was not satisifed with his own work for some reason and offered to come back at the end of the year to do some more cleaning. I didn't think this was necessary but he insisted and even set the date months in advance.
Chuck came in and did an amazing job yet again and was finished by the time he promised me. I had a special gift to give him before he left but he was so sneaky that he left without saying goodbye for that very reason.
With Chuck, you will DEFINITELY get a good job done on your carpets because his standards will likely be higher than your own!
Also I cannot say enough about what a genuinely good man Chuck is. He is so kind and honest that I really wish there were people in the world like him. I just wish him the best and am so happy his business does well because he totally deserves it. He also has great business sense to know that keeping you happy is important to his future business with you as well as possible referrals he will receive.

Thanks to Yelp reviews - I found a wonderful carpet cleaning business. I have used numerous 'coupon' type companies and have never been totally satisfied so I was looking for an owner run place. I could not have been happier with my choice.
Prompt service, hardworking individual who cleaned most of the carpets in the house including the stairs. The living/dining room did not need cleaning but I was expecting a fight on my hands with a hard sell. Chuck was gracious, honest and straight forward and did not try and persuade me to clean these additional areas. I appreciated that.
He was friendly and would have enjoyed chatting, but was cognizant of the fact that I was pressed for time and so after doing a thorough job he was on his way without further ado. -

I just wanted to give a quick update to say that, after two years, Chuck is still doing an excellent job. I had him in recently and the carpet is fluffy and new after he left, including two red nail polish spills (my carpet is light beige) that I thought would never come off.

Chuck is awesome! He just cleaned my carpets yesterday!
I found him on Yelp and I am so glad that I went with him! I hired him to clean our new house that we had purchased on a short sale, it had a TON of stains. The sellers could have cared less about the house when they sold it and left a massive black, oily stain on the stairs along with many others.
I checked a lot of other places and Chuck gave me a quote upfront and honored it, even though it took a little longer to clean my whole house than he originally thought. His pricing is very reasonable. A lot of the places I spoke to could only give me a ballpark on the price and said it could be even higher than estimated once they came out and measured everything. Well, their low estimate was higher than what Chuck quoted!
He was upfront about stains that he knew wouldn't come out (which did not include the black stuff on the stairs, that came out beautifully) and I really appreciated how hard he worked to make our home look fabulous.
This is a man who really takes pride in his work and absolutely does the best he can to make your carpets look like new. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and plan to use him again in the future. He's also just a really nice guy and I feel good about giving my business to people who are genuine. -

After seeing all of Chuck's high-rated reviews, I had him clean all of the carpets in our home(3800 square feet), but for 1 room that is full of stuff. He did an EXCELLENT job.
Most of the carpet is light in color: oatmeal & light beige. We have had a few big parties as well as family gatherings in our house; we have 2 dogs-medium & large sized; and the carpet has not been cleaned in a while. Needless to say, the carpet had alot of traffic dirt & spots.
Chuck got out 99.5% of the dirt & what I thought were stains. He did an amazing job, better than I expected & hoped for! In addition to his hard-work & conscientiousness, I was able to trust him alone in my home, for the 4 hours it took him to complete the job.
I HIGHLY recommend him: he does great work, reasonable prices-you get what you pay for & MORE with him! Thanks Chuck! -

This guy is really good.
I'm usually skeptical when someone has an all 5 star review throughout :), but this guy deserves it.
Chuck spend a good 4 hours cleaning the carpets. Looks like the owner had not cleaned the carpet when we rented the house. So 'original' stains that we thought were un-removable and which the owner 'may' have cleaned before were now GONE. Some of the carpets in the home were filthy .. seriously filthy and now it looks nearly new. Maybe the carpets being nylon may definitely have helped, but Chuck put in a lot of effort to ensure that he had put in a 100% effort to pull out every stain. -

Chuck is the real deal! He takes pride in his work and was able to handle my house with out any troubles. I have had others in the SJ area try to clean properly and they did not. I usually had to redo it after they did their work, but no need with Ameripro! They have excellent equipment and years of experience in how best to clean various carpet material.

Chuck knows everything about cleaning carpets and gives a very personal touch to his work. He was not able to clean my carpet because he usually does not do Condos (due to lack of accessible water supply) but still he went to my place and checked it out. He provided me with names and numbers of other carpet cleaners AND he gave me a free $20 bottle of a stain remover to help me get started! I forgot to mention he came in a couple days notice on New Year's eve so it shows how dedicated he is to his work. He only loses one star because he was unable to clean my carpet but I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

I was grateful that Chuck, a one man show, agreed to come to Morgan Hill to clean our carpets. I read the reviews on Yelp and knew he was the carpet cleaner I wanted and needed. I have two cats and two dogs, one a puppy. We had cat and puppy pee and dog smell throughout the carpet. He did not promise he could get rid of it, but said he would do his best and he did. Our carpet smells, feels and looks new again. His prices are more than reasonable. It is nice to get what you pay for and more. The icing on the cake is that he is friendly with a sense of humor as well. Thanks Chuck!

Had an EXCELLENT experience in using Ameripro services, in which Chuck demonstarted high level of professional integrity (something very hard to find now-a-days).
I booked an appointment with him to clean my sofa and loveseat because my toddler son vomited on the seat cushion in the loveseat and this resulted ina pretty bad stain.
Chuck came over, checked the cushion and within 30 seconds, said that I could actually wash the seat cushion cover in regular laundary washer and need not spend the $$ to get it cleaned by him!!!. he even gave me the special detergent to wash the cushion!! After the laundary, the cushion looked liked new.
Needless t o say, I was very impressed with his business ethics, and decided to call him over a week later to clean the carpets. He did a great job in cleaning the carpet, which has disgusting looking stains. It looked like new after he was done.
He was also very fun to talk to on topics ranging from upcoming national elections, foreign affairs, high gas prices, and stand-up comedy (he's very good at imitating the Indian accent !). -

Chuck was very professional and entertaining to boot ! He accomodated a change in day/time due to my schedule conflict. He moved most furniture on his own and cleaned the carpets thoroughly, while placing small protective pieces underneath them in order to protect the carpet from staining from our dark furniture.

My search for a carpet cleaner began at Yelp and I was not disappointed! I found Chuck of Ameripro to be just as the reviews stated. He was responsive, prompt and thorough. He gave me very detailed info on the cleaning of carpet and pointed out what might or might not come out in the area of stains. He never rushed and his price was surpsingly low. I highly recommend him and will call him again, if need be.

The bottom line is if you need your carpets cleaned, call Chuck and Americpro. My wife and I just moved into our new place and our carpets were in pretty bad shape. The previous owner of the house had a lot pet stains on the carpet and Chuck informed me that there was a possibility that the stains wouldn't completely come out and that he would do his best. After Chuck was done, the carpets looked 100 times better than I could have imagined. I would recommend Chuck and Ameripro to anyone needing carpet cleaning. He even gave me some advise about carpet replacement and what I should look for when the time comes that I want to replace the carpet.

After reading the Yelp reviews, I chose this carpet cleaner for my new home and I was not disappointed. Chris is a very friendly, down to earth guy who believes in doing a good job. And he does. My carpets were relatively clean to begin with, but he was able to remove the few stains that were there and cleaned the dirty high traffic areas to perfection. Really nice work, friendly, fast, and was able to schedule an appointment with relatively short notice. All around excellent experience.

Chuck did an excellent job cleaning our carpet and dining chairs. He explained everything clearly and worked dilligently. His rate are extremely reasonable and he managed to get all the stains out.
Even our kitty was pleased. He went on each dining chair and tested them out. Than he settled on the one near the window and chilled. Our cat loves clean spaces!
