2 reviews for AmeriHost Inn & Suites
I think this place is actually called Baymont Inn now. I stayed here for business for a week and the hotel is very very nice! The room was clean and the beds are awesome. I had a view of the highway, which back here in California would have really really sucked big time, but this being in Wyoming, it didn't matter much except that I didn't get to see many stars from my hotel room window.
The staff is on and off: the day crew is really friendly, the weekend crew also very friendly, the night crew... not so much. When I would call for a wake-up call, she sounded like I was interuppting her telephone call with her BFF or something. A little bit annoying for someone who's supposed to be in the service line of work.
And I liked the continental breakfast a lot. Bagels with cream cheese and coffee and orange juice. Thumbs up. :)
I'd probably stay here again. I liked it. :)
Amerihost is a fantastic choice for accommodations in Laramie, WY. It opened up in February 2006 and is brand spanking new. I stayed here for 9 days on business and couldn't ask for anymore. All the basics are there: clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, complimentary continental breakfast, etc. As I write this review, I'm using their computer with free internet access. There's even a small swimming pool, though I never had a chance to use it. I've never been to Laramie before, but this place looks like the best option compared to the other run-down chain motels I noticed around town.
