Holy burning rubber, Batman! An honest auto place!
Honesty in any kind of auto services place is rare for totally understandable, if thoroughly wicked, reasons. The economists call it a "principal-agent problem," because it makes them sound smarter so they get tenure. What it comes down to is that, in their domain, they're smarter than you and they know it, and it's often too costly to check; if they say your car is going to catch on fire and KILL ALL YOUR CHILDREN IN JUST TEN MINUTES unless you pay them five hundred bucks, sometimes you're just gonna have to believe it.
The possibility of second opinions helps sometimes, if you even dare drive the car around the block, if you know a trustworthy second opinion provider, if you have the time and (sometimes) the money, etc. etc. etc. Yelp (and the pre-internet version, word of mouth) also helps sometimes. Really, what I've found most helpful is going to auto places connected to small reputationally dense communities. (Like, the mechanic on Stanford's campus is good, because they know if they get caught screwing anyone, it'll be all over campus in like an hour.)
But none of those things help a lot, all the time. So mad props to these folks for, yep, being HONEST.
Maybe I should drop the theorizing and say what happened? Ok, so yesterday, I had a near-death experience. I was on the freeway, I went to change lanes, someone zoomed into my blind spot. I saw them just in the nick of time, SWERVE went the steering wheel back into my lane, and then, SKID, SPIN, SCREECH, BURNING RUBBER. That's right, I SPUN OUT on the FREEWAY at like 8pm. Miraculously, nothing crashed into anything else, and I drove home, very shaken.
Naturally, I thought that my tires were an issue. First because I spun out in the first place, and second, because I burned quite a lot of rubber doing so, so I figured even if they weren't bald beforehand, they'd be bald after. And I know jack-all about cars, except pedal-on-the-right-makes-it-go-vroom, so I needed an expert to tell me.
So I go to America's tire, and I tell the dude the SkidSpinScreechBurn story, and I'm like "so could you look at my tires?" Now homeboy knew, at this point, that I'm so clueless I can't even tell if my tires are bald on my own. (I mean, are they supposed to have HAIR?) He comes out. Looks at my car.
and...
and...
forgoes several hundred bucks of my business by telling me that they're still fine.
Now, he's got no incentive to lie to me and say they're fine when they aren't, because why throw business away? But he's got plenty of incentive to lie to me and say they're not fine when they are. Because, you know, principal-agent-pedal-makes-go-vroom-driver-dumb-a s-brick-on-gas-pedal.
And yet, he told me the truth. MAD PROPS TO YOU, TIRE GUY WHO DIDN'T STEAL MY MONEY.
(You say "the soft tyranny of low expectations" or "cynical bastard." I say "open your eyes, gaze into the abyss, and see reality staring back at you out the other end.") -

Always had great customer service until dealing with this location. I called to get some replacement tires (stock tires for my 2005 Mazda3). They said tires would take 3-7 days to ship depending on availability and I would get an email when they arrived.
After a week, I hadn't heard anything so I called them. Sales rep said he would check on order and call me back. Next day, I hadn't heard anything so I called again. Had the same conversation with a different rep, and again did not get a call back.
Next day, I called again, but not so nice this time... This time they did promptly call back and told me they hadn't ordered the tires I requested over a week ago. The tires had been discontinued by the manufacturer, but I could get them from a dealer if I waited another two weeks. So instead, I got a comparable brand they had in stock, plus a 10% discount for my troubles. Made an appointment that day for 4:00 PM but still had to wait over an hour for install...
As I'm sitting in their lobby writing this review I just keep asking myself: why did I give these people my money? -

Came in by 8am, out the door by 9am...can't complain!
The service guy was courteous. I had called to confirm the day before that they had my tires and when I get there, they didn't (so neg for that). On the positive note, they noted my car asked for "T" rated tire, and that my car manufacturer may take issue if something happens and the tires aren't to "specs" They suggested some other tires.
Luckily, I've done my research so I just decided to go with the other tire choice that I had considered.
Also I checked my rims...nothing special but they are alloy. No marks (some places you can get damaged during the tire changing--I had taken photos immediately before turning the car over to them just to make sure).
Overall good experience. -

Somehow a bolt made its way in my front tire, and the tire started to leak air slowly. I brought my Mazda 5 at American's Tire to check if the tire was repairable, and for how much. Well after carefully inspecting the Tire, they told me it could most likely be repaired, and repair would be FREE! The tire was not even bought from them, just stock tire, but they still repaired free of charge, in less than one hour. That's what I call customer service.

These guys are amazing! I got a flat tire at 6pm as they were closing. I called them at 6:05 and they answered the phone. They checked my tire size to see if they were in stock and they said they would wait for me to come in. I came in and 30 minutes later I had new tires on my car. They worked with my budget and seriously gave me 5STAR service. Amazing team and would recommend anyone to bring in their car here.

These guys fixed a soon-to-be-flat when I arrived ONE MINUTE before they closed last night. Setting the scene earlier that day: I drive home from work, step out of my car, and happen to glance at my newish front left tire with a nail in it. A shiny, new nail. Some nails and other pointy stuff you can just pull out with your car key, and b/c the nail or other obstruction is short, it doesn't go through the tire, and all is well. I've done this multiple times with no ill effect. This time my attempt got me a 'hiss.' "Sh*t!" I said to myself (actually, aloud). I pushed the nail back in, hopped in the car and called America's Tires en route. They closed at 6, and I was heading over at exactly 5:53. That was cutting it close because are plenty of ridiculously long lights along the way. Entered their lot at 5:59, ran into their shop (they close promptly at 6, and lock the doors so no one can go in/out w/out the door being unlocked by personnel), and got assistance ASAP; they repaired the flat and I was back on the road just like that. It was a wonderful experience. I felt valued as a customer. And guess how much I paid? Nada. :) My fave $number.

My first review and turns out to be of my favorite ride. I recently got tires for my 2004 Mazda RX8 here. I felt the folks that work here are fast and efficient. I got my tires for a decent price. They also have free tire rotations every 8K miles or so. They also provide certificates of some sort to cover the tire for around 16 bucks each. Not sure how useful the certificates are but got them anyway. They took about an hour for the actual tire change which is pretty good. The place is quite busy but I felt the wait is not bad at all. I am definitely going here for tires the next time I need them. Hopefully not for the next couple of years. :)

My X5 had a nail in the tire. I drove without appt into this tire dealer. A sales rep came out immediately to take a look at the tire, pulled out the screw with some pliers, slow leak evident as he sprayed some water on the hote. They very quickly got the vehicle in a bay, in about 15 minutes, despite alot of customer traffic. They repaired it for free... didn't charge me!

These guys are quick and very helpful, customer service oriented. I've been to other Americas tire shops where they would try to charge u as much as they can, but NOT this one. This shop is honest and would mostly do most of your stuff for free off charge as much as they can. This dude roger does a good job too and helps me out all the time with my tires and wheels necessities!

Review from G B.
Burlingame, CA
Spent all Friday morning calling every tire shop near me for a specific brand. Broadened my search area because nobody could get it sooner than the following Monday and I only had this one day to complete this task.
Finally reached John at America's Tire Mountain View and after him asking me a few questions about the car/application, he confirmed they had a set. It was about 1pm by now. He asked if I wanted to come by same day. Surprised, I said sure but it'll take me an hour. He replied, that's ok, see you at 2 and we'll have you done in about 40 minutes.
Tthought to self as I hung up: What tire shop has time to install four tires on a Friday afternoon and offer to do so in 40 minutes? They must not be good if they're not busy. But I need these tires done today so...
When I get there, I see it's a good sized shop, with cars in almost every bay and in the large parking lot were a few more cars on jacks. Associates in red shirts were busily swarming over every car.
Thought to self 2: Well, this place seems popular enough so the workmanship must be good. But now the realistic expectation appears to be that I'll be waiting a couple hours because they seem TOO busy.
An associate walks out the front door and greets me as I get out of the car, introducing himself as John. In the next few minutes, he's walked the car, explained the charges (and options), taken my info, written the estimate and like clockwork, was able to pull my car into a recently vacated bay.
Thought to self 3: Wow, that was fast. ok, I'll go across the street to get a burger, come back, catch up on a couple games of draw something and do one more sudoku on my phone and hopefully the car will be ready by then.
As I come back about 20 minutes later, another associate walks over and says my car will be ready in another five minutes. What? It hasn't been 40 minutes and I didn't get to play any games on my phone!
Needless to say, back on 101N and 3pm carpool lane hadn't begun yet. Four new tires mounted, balanced, and installed in under 40 minutes. All my rides will get new shoes from this spot now. John and his crew rock! -

Love America's Tires!
This location was great!
Service was nice, helpful, and quick.
Came here to get my tires rotated real quick.
They said that it would be about 45 minutes.
I waited in their nice wating area where they have complimentary waters in a mini fridge.
They only took about 15-20 minutes! Sweet :)
If the wait was longer I would have just walked across the street to kill some time becasue there's a Marshall's right across :P -

These guys will take care of you. I wanted some tires that were online but not in stock at the store. Roger had them delivered to the store within two hours! I purchased my tires and then noticed that I was able to use the interest free for 6 months. John Nguyen cancelled my purchase and went through the process to use the interest free opportunity. Great job and thanks man! This option could have been offered up earlier in the process though (reason for not five starts). All in all, great experience and excellent customer service. Give them a try!

This is the best run tire outlet I've ever found. They keep customer information in a database, email you reminders that it's time to come in and have your air pressure checked, and unlike MOST tire outlets, everyone is friendly, they are very business-like, you aren't assaulted by 'grease-monkey' mentality, and it doesn't stink of rubber. They have the daily newspaper and current magazines for you to read while you're waiting, they give time estimates for when the work will be done (and they're usually done quite a bit before the quoted time), and best of all, they have a low-price guarantee. I recently sent out a price quote request to six tire outlets, and it was no surprise that America's Tire came back with the best price. I'm very happy with this business and would recommend it to anyone.

This is the only place I will buy tires. I'm confident that they are the cheapest. They will match any other price you can find, anywhere. But more than that they are honest and friendly. I would actually pay a premium for that, but here you do not have to
They are extremely friendly and professional, and I feel like you get honest answers and not a sales pitch. Highly recommend. -
Review from Ayaka S.
I've purchased about 3 sets of tires here, and I am quite pleased with the tires and the services they provide.
One tip: do some research first. They have a great website to help you decide which type of tires you should get for your car. You basically select the year, make, and model of your car and website shows you the choices available for your car in a variety of brands and price ranges. After I find one that I want, I will call other stores to see if they are offering the same tires for a cheaper price. Although it is not guaranteed, they typically price match their competitor's. Each salesman is different, but its worth a shot.
They perform air checks and top off your tires with air free of charge. You can just walk in and ask. They've also reset my tire pressure sensors on my tires when they come on for no reason.
With courteous staff and very competitive prices, I will definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a new set of tires. -

Got a pair of Goodyear Eagle GT's put on the front of my car. Everyone I interacted with was very professional and knowledgeable. I made an appointment and I was in and out in under 30 minutes, which I was very impressed by. The only thing missing is that they do not do alignments, but they will give you a reference and a coupon to a near by shop.
Additionally, to the people who mentioned that their valve stems were "stolen" it is common practice to replace the valve stems as part of a tire change. If you want your valve caps saved, take them off before you get your tires change or ask them to swap them for you.
One last note, America's Tire is the website http://www.discounttir..., so you will be hard pressed to find better rates. -
Review from Yun C.
Do make an appointment to ensure FAST service.
I went for tire rotation & balancing and I was in and out in 15 minutes!! WOW! so FIVE STARS for the rotation service
Once, I walked in without an appointment and it took them almost 1 hour to complete the rotation & balancing! The suck part, I don't think they have wifi... I wish they will in the near future!
I got the whole set of tires last year and of course, I got sold on their "warranty" programs. The sales people here are hit or miss. I actually already knew which tires that I wanted when I went there and they said they would "match" the price with Costco, so that's how I got "sold" since it's closer to where I live.
The only bad thing was that, as they were browsing for the particular tire that I wanted the salesman was trying to "CHEAT" me BUT I "CAUGHT" him with my "eagle eyes" (I have small eyes, but I pay attention to details!). Basically, the tires that I wanted happened to be "CHEAPER" than the "costco" price (yeah, I couldn't believe it!) BUT he wanted to give me "costco" price, sneaky ehhhh??!! WTH!! All in all, after the darn warranties and lifetime rotation & balancing package, I still saved some $20 compared to costco...so I was pretty happy "money wise".. it's just I don't appreciate the fact that the salesman was trying to "cheat" me with the price. It's just unethical business ..you know! So...sorry I can't give this business a better rating than 2 stars! -

Those 4 points of contact with the road should never be taken for granted. BAD things can happen with neglect and you do not want to experience these bad things.
America's Tire is, I believe the best place for wheels and rubber. Friendly, fast and competent, these guys know tires. They have won our loyalty with honest and fair prices and with warranties that are appreciated when those pesky nails wreck havoc on expensive road gripping performance treads.
This place is always busy, but I have never had to wait long. The store is large and has a decent waiting area. The customer service is exceptional. We sometimes get our tires online and bring them in. Besides being quick and diligent, they have always been a friendly group to work with. That helps when you either have an unexpected repair or need to surrender to the fact that the money you thought was going toward your hang gliding experience will go toward 4 new tires. Whatever the reason is, America's Tire is about as good as it can be and a good place to begin rubber meets road. -
Review from Andrew S.
Sunnyvale, CA
Had screw stuck in tire causing slow leak; 30 minutes later it was fixed. They also rebalanced the tire, cleaned all four tires, checked air pressure and lugnuts on all four tires.
No charge for the work! The "catch" is that if the damage is unrepairable, you'll probably just buy your replacement tire there, since they have good prices, selection, and service. Win-win.
There's a window in the office if you want to watch the work being done. They run a tidy, very professional garage, and their office staff is friendly and non-pushy.
Indeed, they seem to do odd things with valve caps. My 5-cent grey plastic valve cap got replaced with a 10-cent black plastic valve cap, and now i have three black caps and one grey. If you want to keep your fancy theft-target valve caps, remove them yourself--i don't think they're maliciously losing them, but in a shop environment sometimes it's hard to keep track of things.
Tip: buy performance tires for your car; they may save your life one day -

From the get-go I knew this place was a bad experience. It's now come full circle, and let me tell you why...
I broke one of my tire's sidewall so I needed to replace it. I like to buy tires 2 at a time to offset the cost. I walked in, was greeted promptly, and told them I wanted 2 tires. The guy who helped me tried to sell me THREE TIMES. So annoying.
1st time, upon giving him my information:
Me: I just want two tires
Guy: OK, any wheels for you today? We have a special.
Me: No, I just want two tires.
2nd time, upon tire inspection:
Guy: You don't want 4 tires? Your back tires look like they're losing tread.
Me: Are you sure? They should have enough tread on them. I checked with a penny.
Guy: OK. Let me check again. (checks with his tread ruler) Actually, you're fine.
3rd time, after replacing my tires:
Guy: Are you sure you don't want any wheels? Your wheels are all scuffed up and crooked wheels can cause real damage to the tire.
(Notice he didn't say specifically that my wheels were crooked. Plus I know that my wheels may be scuffed, but they're definitely not crooked. Please don't judge me, I'm an Asian woman)
Me: I can't afford them right now, maybe next time.
Guy: OK
About a month later, I notice my gas mileage was slowly going down. I have an app that conveniently tracks this information. So I check my pressure and find that it's gone down to 10 kpsi. Not only that but my 2 back valve caps had gone missing!!! I had 4 identical metal valve caps. Now I have 2 metal valve caps and 1 cheap plastic black cap. Who the hell steals 2 caps and replaces 1 of them? After reading sophia c's review, I think it's safe to assume these jerks stole my caps or lost them.
Anyway, I checked my tire pressure again and it went down to 20 kpsi. If you have to fill your air more than once in a week, something is wrong with your tire. I went into the America's Tire at Redwood City today, which was surprisingly a complete opposite & AMAZING experience, to get it checked and you would not believe what they told me...
First, nothing was wrong with my tire, the valve was on crooked, explaining the leak. Gee I wonder who done it! Second, they found that one of my tires was on BACKWARDS. It definitely explains the lack of professionalism of the garage workers. You can see them playing around and not taking things seriously.
I'd also like to mention that the estimate the guy drew for me was about $25 more than what I booked online and that I was charged an extra $2 for tire recycling for the good tire I ended up taking home! Also my A/C was on blast and seat scooted all the way to the back when returned to me. Thanks guys, thaaaanks. -

THEY STEAL FROM CUSTOMERS HERE!!! AND THEY LIE TO YOUR FACE!!!
0 star rating if I could.
I recently went to America's Tire to change out all 4 of my tires. When they returned the car to me, I noticed they replaced my (Mercedes Benz) ROUND heavy, steel valve caps with these HEXAGONAL shiny, super light, plastic ones. These caps can cost of up $20 each!!!
Here's what happened when I brought this to their attention:
8:45am They acknowledged/remembered that I had ROUND heavy steel caps. They told me to wait for them to locate.
10:00am They bring out a brand new set of round shine plastic caps and tell me those are mine. Do they think I'm stupid just because I'm a girl, dealing with car stuff??? I tell them mine are STEEL and heavy, not cheap plastic. (Wasted 1 hour so far)
10:30am They find ONE randon steel cap, covered in dirt and tell me that i only had one cap on my car when I brought it in. WTF. Effin' LIARS! So I get upset and tell them that I came in with 4. The guy who worked on my car acknowledged that there are 4 missing. And I ask very loudly, where the hell did you get just one from? And that doesn't belong to me. Are they taking it from OTHER cars? Did they put mine on someone elses' car?
NO ANSWER!!!
I encourage everyone who has come here before (with the top star ratings) to take a good look at your valve caps. Especially if you have a luxury car, or designer/mod rims. Do you have cheapo plastic caps now?
There's 2 possible things happening here:
1) They are stealing from customers and selling more expensive caps to others
2) They are taking things from customers' cars and throwing them away.
Either way, they are in the wrong. UNETHICAL BUSINESS!!!
I'm following up with a complaint letter to their corporate headquarters. -

Time to update to my previous rave review.
I've been to America's Tire twice more now to purchase tires - once for my cars, and more recently for my wife's car.
Prices are very competitive, service is friendly, and it's perhaps the most painless tire changeout ever.
Here's the method: First, make an appointment for a slot during the lunch hour (gets you in faster after arrival); then show up on time; drop off your car; walk across the street to In-N-Out; eat lunch for 20 minutes; walk back, and your car will be waiting for you with shiny new tires. Pretty painless.
Minus 1 star for the slightly aggressive sales tactics to sell me on road hazard insurance (their real moneymaker) and a set of sexy new rims (on a 6 year old minivan? Puhleeese.)1 Previous Review: Show all »

After communicating with Jordan C. (a fellow Yelp user) and getting an understanding of how tire replacement truly works, I have decided to write a new update. Apparently, removing and replacing the valve caps is part of a tire service. The employees probably were not intent on stealing them. I, nor my mother, just did not know this. Regardless, I or she might still return to their location not to complain but just to see if they have the old valve caps. My original 5 star review still stands.

I talked to "Mike" over the phone. Extremely helpful. I blew out my tire on my new Mazda 2 and needed a replacement. He called around and tried to get me the tire as soon as possible but unfortunately he couldn't get it by Monday. Totally understanble since I called around to other places and nobody, including dealer, could get it by Monday.
This is the first time I ever called this company and I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and courstesy over the phone. He told me he'd do the best he can to search for it and call me back and he followed through. -
Review from Salty D.
Santa Cruz County, CA
I initially bought my tires at the Salinas store, but when I got a flat the Mountain View store was the only one in all of California that had my tires in stock - and I didn't want a mismatched set. So I called up the Mountain View store, explained the situation, made an appointment, and drove over an hour to get there. That's when things went downhill - fast.
-They in fact did not have the tire in stock, I drove over two hours round trip and spent $20 in gas for nothing.
-They had already removed my old tire before finding this out, and refused to reinstall it because it had nails in it. So they installed my spare, which is only good for 50 miles - I live well over 50 miles away.
-They gouged the center cap on my wheel - BAD. They kept it so they could order a new one, I asked that they give me the old one back when I come back in. They refused to simply write down the part number and give me the scratched cap back.
Alright, a few days have passed, and now they finally have the tire in stock. I would have just ordered locally, but seeing as how they're holding my center cap hostage I came back. Things got even worse:
-My scratched center cap has gone MIA, and the clerk has a huge smirk on his face and is holding back laughter. I have a feeling it's probably hanging on his garage wall.
-The "new" cap was sourced from a junkyard, it's grey when it should be black, it's scratched up even worse than my old one, and has a date stamp from 1996 on the back. My car was a nearly new 2008 model! Yes it fits, but it's old as heck and the wrong color! What the heck? At this point I was extremely upset. I talked to the clerk in length, and then spoke with his manager. Sourcing used parts is just their "policy", even though I was told that I would be given a "new" center cap (these cost about $20 at the dealership by the way).
-I'm told that they will ship a brand new center cap to my house (It's been months and it still hasn't arrived).
-Once it was time to check out, they fought with me on how much they would prorate the warranty. The first time I came in the bill was going to be $55, now they want $75. We settle at $65. I was pissed as all hell by now, but what was I gonna do? I live over an hour away and they're holding my car hostage until I pay.
-Our transaction is done, I'm pissed, but I have my new tire and I'm ready to go home. I to outside, and they've left goop all over my wheels on a spotless nearly new vehicle. Now I know, some other tire shops do this too, but after all I went through, and considering the condition of the vehicle, they really should have taken out a rag and wiped that off. So irritating.
If you read my review of the Salinas location, you'll see that I'm a pretty reasonable guy. The guys at Mountain View failed hard, they were jerks the entire time, and seemed to think that what they were doing was funny - constantly smirking and holding back laughter. Completely %100 not cool. I spent a lot of money on my car, a lot of money on my warrantied tires, and drove a long distance to patronize their business. They dragged me around, wasted my time, damaged my car, fixed it with decade old parts, upsold me, and then handed me the keys to a dirtier car than I had dropped off. This was by far one of the worst retail experienced I have ever had. -
Review from Gina C.
Gah! It kills me that I have to spit out $900 on tires. Especially for a old crappy SUV. I could've waited longer until I saw the metal on the tires but my dad kept yelling at me everytime I saw him about getting them changed. And my BF wasn't having it anymore, he dragged me to get them changed. Boo I liked my old, no tread, slick and smooth tires. Anyways, when I walked in I was suprised on how busy it was. After waiting for a couple minutes Jonte helped us find the right tires for my car. Jonte was super friendly and provided us with great customer service.
America's Tire Co. would have recieved 5 stars but I'm taking off one star for them not shining my tires. This may not be a standard service they provide, but my new tires looked so dirty... -

My front tire blew out on 101! And that's how my day began.
After dealing with the panic and thanking the awesome gentleman who stopped to help me, I searched and found America's Tire online.
Well... the HIGH REVIEWS are LEGIT!
I drove in, had my tires inspected, chose a new set and had them all replaced in 1 hour flat! Assistant Manager, John Nguyen, helped me out. He was kind and comforting. And I am so excited about the coverage included with the tires I got!
I'd like to mention again, that I rolled up, check my car in, walked to the shopping center across the street and the car was READY when I came back! I supposed on a day full of appointments, I might have had to wait a little, but for the service and quality - worth the wait.
Ladies, I can't guarantee that some awesome man will help you change your flat on the highway. But I can say you will get great service if you head into America's Tire. -

GREAT SERVICE.
I came in with a screw in my front right tire, and they took it out and fixed the tire FOR FREE (apparently part of the warranty when you buy your tires from them). I was in and out of there in 20 minutes.
And even though my treads were slightly worn down they didn't try to sell me on replacing them. Even after I asked if I should, they said there was no need yet. Honesty hell yeah.
I'll be coming only here from now on. -

I HIGHLY recommend this place! All the employees are efficient and professional. This was my first time replacing tires on my Honda Civic and it couldn't have been done any easier, cheaper, or faster! The following is my experience:
I researched tire replacement and it seemed like an expensive and complicated maintenance that I had to do. I had 60k miles on my original tires. I stumbled upon America's Tires website. It's so helpful. You get to see reviews of lowest price guaranteed tires, a complete cost breakdown, and have the ability to schedule an appointment. I had errands to run Saturday morning, so I scheduled an 8am appointment on Saturday, thinking I'd be done around 9-9:30.
Saturday arrives. I arrive at 7:45 because I'm usually early and wait in my car because I'm not in a rush and I'd like to be respectful of my appointment time even though all their employees are already getting prepped for work. Anyways, some guy gets there shortly after me and is basically hounding at the guys to get started on his car right away. All the employees graciously help him and get started before 8, which is when they open. They treated him with respect even though that guy made them start early. I know I would be pissed at a customer for doing that.
Anyways, 8:00am arrives and a bunch of the employees come out the door and greets everyone. I felt like VIP and I only have a civic! Mike was the person who got me situated. I gave him my web order for my Yokohama Avid Touring-S tires and he suggested that I change tires because the tires I'm picking are not performance tires that I currently have and offered several options of performance tires and showed me ones that were even cheaper than my Avid Touring ones. I politely said no, and he was cool with it. Within 5 minutes, Jesus started working on my car.
Sitting in the waiting area, you can see outside. I've never seen such a great team working there. It made me want to work there! Everyone is constantly working on something, wearing gloves, and even safety googles. These guys are professionals! 30 minutes later, Mace/Mack (I forgot) comes out to tell me that my car is almost done and went over the replacement, the warranty, when I should come back for free balance and rotations, and what kind of damage they would fix for free. Then I stood outside and out came my car with shiny new tires.
I never knew car maintenance could be so easy and convenient. I will definitely return and recommend this place to others! -

I've been buying tires here for years - fast, great service, good prices.
Yesterday I went in to have them look at a slow leak in my front tire. Turned out there was a nail in the sidewall. This type of damage can't be repaired. No problem - the staff replaced the damaged tire, which had about 40,000 miles of wear already on it, with a brand new one. For FREE!!
So I got a brand new $140 tire, tire rotation and check, and a cold bottle of spring water - all for the $18 disposal cost of the old tire. Took less than an hour with no appointment!
Now that's service!!! -

First time I've had to get new tires on my own. Bam, appointment booked online, put in an order for tires, and all good.
Showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment during a busy Saturday. Was told that my original order of tires were high performance and would probably lower my MPG on my hybrid. Hmmm.... not sure if this was a scam, but I went with my gut and trusted them... paid for slightly more expensive tires, but I'm pretty happy with the performance so far after a couple hundred miles.
These guys are busy, but the turnaround is relatively quick (took about an hour for them to replace all 4 of my tires), and I felt they did a thorough job.
I would come back, and I'm hoping my purchased tires recommende by them last the warranty even though the reviews of it don't look so great.
Very professional overall and I would recommend this place if you need tires. Booking an appointment is so easy, and I love the online flexibility. -

Ordered tires online. Set up appointment on phone. Dropped off car. Picked it up in an hour with no hassle.
Besides the "hey why don't you buy more expensive tires? hey why don't you get this insurance premium? hey why don't you pimp out your prius rims?" America's Tire is pretty handy and gets the job done.
Prices were competitive with Costco and since I didn't have a membership there it was an easy decision. -

I have a brand new 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 with only 6k on it, so I was surprised when I was losing PSI in one of my tires. I couldn't see a nail in there so I took it over to Americas Tire Co after work yesterday to have them look at it, find the leak and patch it. Worse case scenario I've got a 120k warranty would should cover it.
These guys were great! It turned out there was a nail in my tire and they fixed it right up. They went in and rebuilt the TPMS sensor, patched the leak and balanced my tires for FREE! I've been a customer in the past and will continue to be when my stock tires need changing.
Great job, good crew and very customer friendly. I'll definitely be going back to this location.
