Great customer service and sufficient facilities for waiting.
The staff is definitely professional, and work with you and your budget to find the tires that fit your needs. Also, they encourage you to come in once a month for your tire pressures and rotations..for free!
The Keurig machine and waiting chairs seem to make the wait go by faster too!
My favorite part? the big glass windows next to the waiting area so you can see what;s going on with your car! -
Review from Travis N.
Irvine, CA
Replaced two tires on my gf's optima today. service was good. the staff were friendly and patient, and took the time to go over several different tire choices that fit my budget and needs, and helped me find the right tire for the car.
they had excellent prices, I couldn't find anything cheaper elsewhere online. also, never did i feel like they were trying to sell me more than I needed.
I didnt make use of the nice coffee maker nor did i grab a bottled water (both free), but just noting that they were there. the lobby was nice. I didn't spend too long there though because the Lab is right across the street.
i'm knocking off one star though because they initially told me the work would be done in 45 minutes. I went to the Lab window-shopping with my gf for 45 minutes, and upon returning, I noticed the car parked outside (meaning it was done). I waited in the lobby thinking they would call me soon to tell me my vehicle was ready for pick-up. More than 30 minutes later (maybe almost 45) I was finally told my car was ready for pick up. Paid for the service, etc. etc. Martin was really friendly. Got the keys back, and came out to the car in the same spot I had seen it 30 minutes prior (meaning it had been done and I had waited the extra 30 minutes in the lobby for no reason).
Overall, prices and service were great, the shop was clean, there was complementary coffee and bottled water, a spacious lobby, plenty of parking, the shop was easy to find and was close to the Lab anti-mall, and there was a large selection of tires to choose from. I will be back when I need new tires in the future. However, I hope next time I'm there they'll give me a call as soon as my car is done, instead of whenever they get the chance to. -

Professional, courteous and fast. This America's Tire location is tops. Gary runs a tight operation getting customers in and out in no time. They've been very helpful every time I called and visited.
The sales staff work with you and your budget and they carry a large amount of selections so to get the right type of product on your vehicle. I shopped around for a particular brand of tire which they didn't have in stock but their quoted price out matched the rest (even http://tirerack.com) so I gave them the go. I got all 4 of my tires replaced and now I couldn't be more happier.
I also got one tire fixed with a rotation on my other car for free! Even without an appointment I was in and out in about 45 minutes. That's what I call excellent service! -

Customer service excellence here was second to none, everyone was extraordinary in their service skills and it showed. Definitely will come again when I have tire issues, and the prices here are better than the competition.

After receiving a ridiculously high quote from another buiness just down the street (won't mention names) I meandered over to America's Tires for a quote. The business is clean, well organized, and the staff epitomizes the definition of professional and curteous. And the best part- I got two tires, rotation, Armor All, and a nail removal/pach for the price of one tire at the other place. I would personally recommend America's Tires to all my friends and family, and obviously to anyone lookng to repair or replace their tires while receiving the highest level of customer service and quality workmanship!

These guys are great, definitely know their timing, and know exactly how long it will take for your car in the meantime lots of great local places to eat at within walking distance while they change your tires. I'll continue coming for all my car needs, they occasionally have deals on tires so don't forget to ask before they estimate the cost.

My husband and I came here to get a nail removed from the tire on his aging Toyota Avalon, and we couldn't be happier with the service. This is what customer service should look like: attentive, friendly, and willing to help. The manager was the one who performed our transaction, not because we asked for one, but simply because he was out helping his staff with regular in-store traffic. He was nice and stayed engaged with us through the whole process. The waiting area offers free bottled water, hot coffee and tea, and comfy seating. We were in and out within 20 minutes. All in all, an excellent experience.

I've never really been a fan of America's Tire, but somehow every time I need tires I end up here. Maybe it's the prices..maybe it's the fact that they sucker me in every time I think I need just a rotation..who knows.
Anyhow, this review is strictly for a rotation. Made an appointment at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, January 2nd (so glad they were open!) for 9:30 a.m. that same day. Arrived on time and I think I was in and out of there in under 15 minutes. $0 later and I was out of there! See you in 7,500 miles, America's Tire! -

Last week I discovered a nail in my tire while pumping gas. I work in Irvine and needed to take care of it during my lunch break. I asked a few people in the office where to go and they all recommended America's Tire. So, went on my lunch break and 45 minuted later my tire was fixed.... FREE of charge.
Highly recommend this place! -

I really can't say enough about how awesome this place is. Been meaning to write a review for some time now. This is a business that came highly recommended on Yelp, and rightly so!! I first noticed low pressure in my front left tire... went to have the tire inflated... the next morning it seemed low again. So I came online to find a reputable tire shop in my area. America's Tire had great reviews and really couldn't have been in closer proximity to my place. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon with my Civic and spoke with a very friendly and knowledgable employee. He assured me that I would get a free evaluation and wanted to discuss options in case the tire couldn't be salvaged. They had some kind of a weekend blow-out sale going on which created a lot of business. However, I was out of there in less than five minutes. Received a phone call about 30 minutes later saying that my car was fixed, free of charge, and ready for pick-up. I had never been a customer there so really wasn't expecting that kind of service. All the tires were set to ideal pressure and cleaned up with tire dressing. I spent a little time looking at their price list too... still haven't found better deals elsewhere.

I don't know that much about tires, but I know these guys are the best. They work quickly and are very professional. I bought a set of tires from them, and all the times after I have come in for rebalancing and tire rotations have been free.
I recently came in for a (slow leaking?) flat tire 10 minutes before close, and they treated me the same as if I had made an appointment with them. I was impressed that no one was a jerk, especially since the work wasn't finished until after 6. AND it was free! -

I have long been a user of Yelp but have never felt compelled to register... Until now. This location (can't speak for the others) was everything I could hope for in providing timely, efficient, and courteous service when I needed it most. They were polite and helpful on the phone and just as impressive in person. I bought four new tires one week ago and then proceeded to get a flat one week later. They were prompt and professional in addressing the very unlucky circumstance and made what would have been an otherwise very stressful experience, a breeze. Thank you!

Got my new tires installed this AM and it took less than an hour. Of course, that probably had to do with the fact that a.) I made an appt in advance, and b.) the tires were pre-ordered and in stock upon my arrival.
The store was clean, the guys were professional and nice and I love my new tires. Bye-bye, run flats, hello cushy Bridgestones! :)
Decent waiting area space, although a closed off space would be better, complimentary coffee (Keurig!) and water is a nice bonus too.
Will definitely use them in the future (or other locations) for my tire needs!Listed in: My recommendations for…

Long Beach, CA
I went here today and they said it would take about 45 minutes to install 4 new tires. I was prepared to spend an hour or two like I normally do when I take my car in for something and was surprised that it only took 30 minutes. It's walking distance to The Lab and The Camp, so there is no need to bore yourself in the waiting room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also... I applied for their credit card, which is 6 months interest free and got approved. Nice to not be worried about coming up with money on the spot for tires.

These guys are great! I've been here before for my Civic, and it was finally time to get tires for the Subie. Vito and Gary were very courteous and helpful. I also got the best price on the tires I wanted, beating out Tire Rack when you factor in the shipping, and their price left Mountain View Tires and Sears astonished. The place nearby that they recommended for my alignment (Costa Mesa Brakes and Tires Inc.) was great too. All in all another great experience with these guys.

Irvine, CA
I was blown away by how efficient this company is. Their online website is very easy to use. I was able to pick out the tires I want, see which location has them on stock and make a reservation to get it done. I received a call in the morning the day of my appointment to confirm. I spoke to the employee and he recommended another tire that ended being cheaper (saving me $400) and was ranked higher than my original choice.
I took my car in after work. I didn't get that sales pressure that other auto shops try to do. I felt like I just sat down and then my car was already done! It took them 30 minutes to change all 4 of my tires. Wow!
PROS
+ Speedy service
+ Complementary coffee and chilled bottled water
+ Open, air conditioned waiting area unlike most auto shops that stick you in a cave
+ Large selection of tires
+ Knowledgable employees
+ Free valve stems, prorated road hazard, lifetime rotations
+ Ease of checking tire availability online and making a reservation
CONS
- Employees seem to be the ones taking all the bottled water in the lobby
- They should acknowledge everyone that walks in because not every customer is a regular and is familiar with where to check in
MY RECOMMENDATIONS
* Ask for a printout of the transaction to explain the charges prior to them asking you for payment -

I called every tire shop in OC before deciding to go with America's Tire. They had great Yelp reviews and ended up being the place with the most competitive pricing on the Michelin tires I wanted. Everyone else wanted over $300 for the same tire and I was able to buy them for under $260 each.
America's Tire is super efficient. I made an appointment over the phone, which you can also do online. I arrived checked in and my car was finished within an hour. They lose a star since they misquoted me over the phone. I definitely recommend giving them your tire size in addition to the make and model of your car to avoid any price discrepancies. -

I had a nail in my tire, a huge one, and like a fool pulled it out. I was freaking out because I was about to have to call a tow truck. With only a few minutes before they closed, they took my car, fixed the hole with a patch, and didn't charge me a dime. Customer for life.

I've heard not-so-great things about America's Tire in general, but after reading the good Yelp reviews, I decided to give it a try. I made an appointment for 1:00pm on a Saturday. It was pretty busy, but everyone was friendly and offered us water/coffee.
I didn't get up to the desk until about 1:10pm. The guy who helped me, took a look at my tires and said I only needed 2 new tires and that the other 2 have another 6 months to a year left on them. He didn't try to upsell or pretend I needed the other 2 tires. He showed me my options of tires and suggested a mid-range tire which was priced within my range.
He said it would take about 45 minutes to complete the job since I made an appointment. My friend and I walked across the street to Habana, which I highly suggest doing on a weekend because the sangria is half off! 30 minutes later, I get the "your car is done" call. I couldn't believe how quickly they finished the job.
The tires feel like they're driving well, friendly service, good prices, warranties included... and all in 30 minutes. Thumbs up! -

I've been putting off getting my tires rotated, since, well, I just don't drive that much. I brought my car in on a busy Monday afternoon. (Is 3 men in the waiting room busy? because that seems busy to me).
I got 2 workers greeting me and asking me what they could help me with. The best part? They didn't call me "Maam." These guys must be well trained in customer service. Women hate being called "maam." I suppose Men hate being called "Sir."
Anyways, they punched my info in quickly, told me it's be a 45 minute wait, and I sat down and booted up my laptop. I must have zoned out, because I wasn't able to get much work done. Less than 20 minutes later, my name was called and my car was done.
Customer Training could not have prepared me for the most sincere compliment I got from the guy that brought my car around. "I just want to personally tell you its been a long time since I have seen a cleaner nicer looking celica." I sort of stopped dead in my tracks because it has been a long time that I've heard a car compliment! It just brought me back to the good old days when I was totally into my car and doing silly things to it - Not to mention my car has not been washed for, say, 3 months? So he must have been complimenting the very subtle modifications I've done. If he wasn't, I don't want to know - because that comment just completely made my day. -

I really don't write too many non food reviews, but this chain and this location in particular is worthy of praise and a thumbs up. I have purchased tires from these guys( America's Tire) for years and they almost always have what I need in stock and at a competitive price.
My most recent visit was prompted by the warning light on my dash, check tires. I was on the 5 freeway heading towards Irvine right at the 55. I immediately knew I was gonna hop on the 55 south and have these guys check it out. It was Friday late afternoon and I managed to get in before they closed.
They quickly pulled up my information on their database and had me checked in, pronto. Cool thing is they took me in before closing and they were busy. Maybe they saw my buying history, dunno, but about 15 minutes later they informed me I had a nail in the tire.
20 minutes after that, I was on my way, no charge. Had the tires been bad or unrepairable i would have had no qualms about buying them there without even shopping around. I already know they have great prices and service. Cool thing about these guys is they aren't gonna try and sell you something you don't need, at least that has been my experience.
The waiting area is neat and clean and they have bottled water and a huge selection of magazines while you wait. Great place, great service, friendly and knowledgeable employees and management. Of note they are closed of Sundays.Listed in: Great Service found here!

BEST PRICES IN OC,
I needed 2 new tires for sure, maybe 3, for a Honda 96 accord, I started my search on yelp, I called a couple of places like Just Tires in Tustin the closest to where I live, last place I called was America's Tire, It's a bit further from where I live but the Reviews forced me to consider this place when I get quotes over the phone, Their prices beats everybody,
The next day I go there, the guy tells me I need to change the 3 tires, I told him according to your quote over the phone I need to go with 2 tires, he insisted I should get the 3rd, he should me how bad was the tire, it had some treads comparing to the other 2 tires, and he gave me some discount turned to be $20 less than the quote I had over the phone,
They told me It will take 45 mins, It took them 43 mins to do the job,
I had fun listening to a Ron Paul supporter in the waiting area, comfortable seats & free coffee available, I'll definitely come back -

My 2007 Honda Accord had a flat about a few months ago (this actually happened right in a parking structure in Irvine), and I had to drive my car out of the parking structure (after 4-5 levels down), and I pulled into an empty lot off Von Karman and Michelson to call AAA. I got the spare put on my car, and drove to the nearest America's Tire off Bristol and the 73 freeway, and the manager told me that they didn't have a tire in my actual size (205/60R16).
So what happened? The manager offered to put a tire on my car with a shorter sidewall (205/55R16) but I got a pretty good price for a USED tire. Overall, the place was busy as usual, and I really loved the customer service at this location; although I would rather go for a different location such as the A.T. off Beach and Warner. :) -

They had a sale on tires that saved me $100 instantly, they repaired my tire as the shop was closing and stayed about a half hour after closing and didn't even charge me for the repair, and they have great customer service. I will be back and I recommend you check this place out.

Downgrading them to 3 stars.
Called yesterday because my tire had a nail in it that couldn't be repaired. They said they would have my tire in stock today. This morning, I call and they not only don't have my tire, but I find that they mistakenly thought I wanted four tires. And furthermore, that I could have had my tire, because the store that was supposed to deliver them only had three, so they passed. Since I clearly need a tire anyway, I politely inquire as to when they can get my tire at this point. Paul tells me he will call me right back.
An hour later (nearing lunch hour here; I was hoping to get this taken care of at lunch), I decide to call back. Paul answers and apologizes and says that he cannot find another store with the tires, but that he will keep trying and call me back within the hour.
After Paul and I speak, I look up the other closest America's Tire, which happens to be Lake Forest. With one quick phone call, I am able to confirm that they do have my tire in stock, and yes, they'd be happy to fit me in at lunch time. The Lake Forest guys probably missed Paul's call cause they were busy installing tires. They took care of my vehicle quickly and efficiently.
My car is now happily well balanced and I'm no longer worrying about driving under sub-optimal conditions. Oh, and...I'm still waiting for Paul to return my call.2 Previous Reviews: Show all »

I've been going to this America's Tires location for close to a year now, and I have to say that, for as little as I know about cars (including my own), the staff here always make sure I'm included on everything, and they even go so far as to explain things to me in detail.
I went last week to get a rotation, balance, and tire pressure check, and the guy informed me that the recommended PSI was X amount, but he thought it was safer to go with a different amount. He went into a full blown explanation on what the difference was, and made sure I knew what I was agreeing to.
Every time I leave that place, I'm extremely satisfied with their level of knowledge and enthusiasm for what they do. I've been there several times when an irate customer has been present, and not once have I ever heard any of the staff lose their cool. That's not an easy thing to do. -

My dad purchased my tires from the America's Tire back home. It comes with free tire rotations so I bring my car in whenever he informs me to do so.
They're always nice and respectful here. They look up your info through your number. I brought my car in this past Monday morning at ~ 10 a.m. and was out in less than twenty minutes. I got a kick out of them calling me by my dad's name the whole time and appreciated the fact that they didn't move my seat when they drove my car. -

Service: 5 STARS
Low Price: 5 STARS
My poor little Alice Bella, barely a month old and already a scar on her windshield face, and a 2 inch metal shard on her behind leg. I knew she was going to be an amputee as soon as I saw the damage.
We brought it here since I've heard lots of good stuff from the BF. Sure enough, it needed to be replaced. They offered a loaner tire to get me by while I wait for my tire to be in stock.. I didn't have time, so guess what? They did a tire check on my spare and the rest of my tires to make sure I was good to go. Thoughtful. The guys there were super friendly and definitely not pushy.
They were cheap. I bought an 18 inch thingymajid wheel (who knows what it's called) but BF and a friend looked into prices and this is the cheapest. The wheel replacement cost $200, +$85 which basically provided warranty for the other 3 wheels + the new one. If sh*t happens again, wouldn't have to worry about it. They also do free rotations and will remind you every 6 months.
Awesome service, and awesome plan. -

This is a great tire shop with good service and a friendly, helpful staff.
I first called this place after looking online for new tires as my old ones were getting pretty bald. I actually only had to replace 3 tires because the 4th one got a metal screw stuck in it beforehand (but i got that tire someplace else that wasn't so great).
Now, I do have some knowledge of tires and car repair in general, so whenever I go to shops like these I'm always on the lookout for people trying to rip me off. However, the staff at this America's Tire was pretty cool. They were helpful, they answered all my questions, and they more importantly, they weren't pushy (it's annoying when some places try to shove their "special" services/products down your throat). I came in on a late Saturday morning without an appointment, but I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. You can even walk across the street to the Lab if you want to go shopping. Overall, good service. Plus, I qualified for free tire rotations and re-balancing even though I only got 3 tires, which is nice (I've already done 2 rotations and 1 re-balance).
Oh, and extra points for the spacious waiting area with the complimentary water bottles and coffee/tea from those neat little Keurig cartridges! those machines are cool -

Great little tire company!
You can view a set of tires that match your car, and select from atleast 10 or 15 different brands and sizes-all categorized by price, with customer reviews and ratings.
You then order which ever tire you want, set up a appt. over the internet.
Usually they'll call and confirm with you, sometimes, if its a last minute appt, you may want to call in to confirm your spot.
Tire installation was fast, about 10-15 minutes, the service guys were very courteous and well mannered for a car-service place.
Best of all, you get free rotations for life and the tires have a lifetime warranty (besides usual wear and tear damage). -
Review from Ryan M.
Either they changed management, or cleaned up their act, because this place was pretty cool as to handle my situation. Currently my left rear wheel needed to be replaced, due to the heavy damage (which is left to be unknown, either to puncture or random act of vandalism). So I came to this place, while using my spare mini-tire (allowing me going up to heavy speeds of 50 mph, on the freeway) and parked in their lot.
It took a good 15 minutes, before I was helped but Gary (the friendly and helpful store manager), made sure my transaction for replacement on my warranty of my blown out tire, will be renewed at that moment, which cost me a good $10.00 (not bad at all). The whole wait time, before I was able to departure, was about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Which in that time, I was filled to the brim by enjoying my
custom orders of sushi/sashimi from Sushi Box.
Definitely keep up the good work, America's Tire Co. You made me at least one happy customer.
P.S. There was a cute girl waiting in-line right before I left...just had to add that in there. -
Review from Christopher B.
Hermosa Beach, CA
Let me tell you a first things upfront! First, I know (or didn't know) a damn thing about tires. Second, when it comes to these places, I trust no one! Third, I am sometimes loyal to a fault, or at least until proven wrong, which can bite me in the ass. Fourth, I don't like reviewing chains/franchises and I am not in the business of free marketing/advertising (but once in a while...)
Last month I was in the market for a tire. I stopped into American's Tire and the guy tries to sell me the Pirelli's- state of the art tires. Of course, the highest priced tires. Fair enough, I expected that. It's not like I was going to buy tires right then and there so I took down some quotes and scheduled an appt later in the week.
Flashback: I got a flat tire last yr. I took it into America's tire so they can take a look at it. Within 20min, they patched it up, told me it was free of cost, but asked me a favor- anyone I know, including myself, who was in the market for a tire, I was to send to them. My loyalty coming into play!
So one afternoon I am calling and researching tires. I am clueless! I call my dad up and he warns me the most expensive isn't always the best. He explains some experiences he had with Goodyear, etc.
To my surprise, calling around, no one is touching the prices of America's tires. BTW- Just Tires were not only rude but the most expensive. So here I am, in a bind, not knowing which tires I should get but I'm pretty sure it's going to be at America's.
So I log into a website looking around for tires and all of a sudden *ding* *ding* *ding*. HELLO, McFly! Go to America's Tires' website. This is where it gets good- probably one of the best websites I have been to in a LONG time. Give them your car make, type and year + where you live and *wah-lah!* you have a list of tires for your car.
It gets better. Each tire has reviews- lots of reviews. It took me about 20min to realize the cheapest tires- tires I never heard of before- had the best reviews! Who knew?! So I just went with it!
The story gets better- I notice $30 off by the end of the month. Ok, that works! So I print out the page and the coupon. I go to the tire place and I am expecting the guy to convince me I'm wrong. I'm all prepared to go to battle and he's like: so you want to Kumho's? I nod. He's like ok but I'm going to rip up the coupon. I'm thinking WHAT? Then he goes on to say the new sale is $100 off! Ok, now I am looking for the scam! I have the price all calculated in my head. He rings up the total with all the warranties and extras and taxes and the total is cheaper than the listed Internet price (for the tires only!).
I know it's probably what I should be paying in the first place but after shopping around and setting my expectations, this deal totally blew me away. The process took a little longer than I wanted... they told me it'd be done by 1PM but it was about 15min later... no biggy. So I missed a little work! ;)
Maybe this all goes back to the other reviews- maybe there is new ownership. I never had issues a yr ago and definitely very happy right now. BTW- I never pay attn to tires but the feel and handling and quietness of the new tires really make me happy. These are much better tires than the previous two that I owned.
The next time you're in the market, try them out! -

After my mom and sister came down to visit from about a 2 hour drive, we unfortunately found a nail in their tire. My fiance suggested we go to America's Tire, but we were kind of nervous going on our own as the stereotype is that women tend to get taken advantage of in situations with car issues.
However, we were PLEASANTLY SURPRISED by the experience we encountered. Not only were the employees efficent and extremely friendly, but they fixed our tire for FREE. I am sure it is probably an easy fix for those who know what they are doing, but the fact that they did not try to take advantage of us and our lack of knowledge in this department spoke volumes of their honesty and ethics.
I highly recommend this location. -

Free air checks! friendly service :) I had to get two tires replaced and they told me it would take 40 minutes... I didn't mind waiting in the lobby (where they served free coffee and free water bottles for customers) but they finished early in half the time! Quick service and great service. Would come here again and it is a bit cheaper than if I were to go to my toyota dealer too.

Tire buying is a pain in the ass...thank goodness it's not something we have to do that often. Here's why I came to America's Tire...
The guys behind the counters were friendly and helpful. The prices were cheaper than those of Pep Boys and the VW Dealership (big shocker...) and my car was in and out within an hour. I did not have an appointment and came on a Friday at around 11:30. They do not do alignment. They do offer free rotation every 5000 miles which is nice.
I chose to walk next door to the Rooster Cafe for breakfast and the walk around the Camp and window shop, but had I waited, there were plenty of seats and free bottled water and coffee.
I would recommend this place to a friend. -

I searched for about a month after Big O told me I needed new tires. I hadn't gotten new tires since I bought the car in 2005 and three years later I am sure it was needed. I got a Great deal on tires with free tire rotation. They completed my order within an hour. Greeted when I entered and kept informed on the details. It was a simple take off my old tires and replace them, then I asked if they could replace a windshield wiper I just couldn't figure out on my own and they did it for me! would do business here again.

Went there this afternoon ~3pm for a slow leaking tire. Found a screw at a tricky location, boundary of the tread area. Worried about replacing 4 OEM tires which have 35k miles but they repaired it and rebalanced the tire. Free as quoted! Left there ~4pm though they're quite busy (~4 persons in the office). Great service!
