Great store no matter what. There is a recession going on and donations are down. Thye have great stuff and the color tags are neat and they work. I have found great things there and that is what thrift stores are about. The other store I do not like as they thibk they have gold and they are proud of thier junk......

This shopping center, with America's Thrift and Value Village side by side, was once ground zero for thrift stores in Atlanta (or the southern suburbs, which have the best thrift stores, anyway). America's Thrift sorts clothing by size, is bigger than VV, and has discount tags that rotate from 25% to 50% to 75% off. This means that for example, in summertime you could get really nice coats and winter gear for $3 or $4. And everything is marked with color tags, including kitchen stuff, bicycles, furniture... so it's all eligible for the discount. I bought the best couch I ever owned here for about $15.
That being said, the past few times I shopped there the selection of both clothing and furniture (which used to be some of the best in the Atlanta area) had gone downhill. I don't know why that happened, or if it's permanent. That's why it's getting only four stars.
