You know when you should feel good when you are supporting a family business? Well this might be the only good feeling I have after leaving here. $65 AAA rated for one night. Mom and I needed a place to stay on the way up to even more northern Ca. We booked in advance but it might not have been necessary. Holes in the towels, questionable linens, limited tv channels and a shower that sprayed water everywhere but the shower. The front desk lady was nice but it was not exactly a restful stay over.

Run, don't walk away from this motel. Sleep in your car if you have to.
Horrible place to stay. Room (117) reeked of mildew badly, caused by the poorly installed handicapped shower facility which amazingly drained straight out of the shower directly onto the rug... after covering the floor of the bathroom area completely. Shower unusable because of improper installation (sprayed water everywhere). BTW, we did NOT ask for a handicapped facility nor were we informed of it until we returned very late at night to collect our room. Uncovered window in back let in direct light from outside. Clock radio went off loudly and unexpectedly at 2:00AM to raucus mexican music. Beds squeaked. Refrigerator howled. No bugs. Go anywhere else.
* Best Feature -- Very convenient driveway leading out of the motel and back to the real world of cleanliness, quiet and working showers. -

For $55 a night I can't say there's much to write home about. A couple of pluses were free HBO and a heater in both the bedroom and bathroom since it was freezing cold. I can't say that it was nice and there was a slight smell of Lysol, but It was cheap and I got a good night's sleep. You definitely get what you pay for.
