This is a budget motel that does not easily access Los Angeles public transportation.  It's good for a road trip to a UCLA football game, say, but try not to overcrowd your rooms.  The management will get very upset if the hotel gets too loud, even if you're the only group for a particular floor.

The circumstances of my particular trip came during the Cal vs. UCLA game at the Rose Bowl in October 2007.  The beds sag, the bathroom was poorly ventilated, and the window opened right out onto I-5.  With window closed, the room was rather quiet.

This is advertised as an all-suite hotel, but all that means is you get a separate room for TV and couch that folds out to a bed.  As I recall, the mini-fridge was locked shut during my visit, and the "Extended Continental Breakfast" is nothing more than Sunny Delight and mini-cinnibons purchased at Costco.

Nearby food is a Denny's at the across the street Radisson hotel as well as an am/pm convenience store next door.

There was enough parking available, and It was clean, so that avoids the total one-star rating, but it certainly is less than the advertisement seems to imply.
