Beware of bedbugs! After staying here for two nights, I looked as though I had crossed through the mosquito-filled swamps of Papua New Guinea. For $60 a night, this is nowhere near America's best value.
To add insult to injury, there are no coffee percolators available for use, and the only way to air out the smell of mold after a shower is to open the front door.
Bottom: Shell out extra money to stay elsewhere, or sleep fully clothed. Socks, gloves & caffeine fix are not provided by staff. -

My other half had a class in Eugene and he just wanted a clean place for the night. The price seemed great and the pics looked fine. Once he got there though he found the room was filthy. He pulled back the comforter on the bed and there was what looked like blood stains and hair on the sheets. He ended up sleeping on top of the bed in his clothes. There was also a big gap under the door so he had to put a rolled towel over it to keep the draft down. I don't expect anything fancy for $50 but I do expect a clean room. We will never stay here again and warn others not to. You won't just be disappointed but you may be disgusted.

I should've read Jessica F.'s review before booking a room...
***IT IS THE MOST DISGUSTING MOTEL EVER.***
The website portrays this place as spacious & clean and we were excited to find a place that allows animals. When we entered the room we walked straight out and tried to get our money back so we could go next door to the Comfort Inn... Manager was rude and an ass.
DESCRIPTION OF ROOM: The room hasn't been updated for probably 20 years, along with the sheets. There were burn marks everywhere and I mean everywhere... It's the first place I refused to actually sleep on the bed and take a shower in due to the nastiness of the room. Went home and had to take two showers to feel human again.
Great place if you're a prostitute and/or a crackhead!
***If you're traveling with animals this place averages $85 a night... Not that cheap for a 13x10' room that our dog didn't want to sleep in. They've got one room designated for pets & until you've slept in that 'one room' you'll never understand my post, unless you're Jessica F.! -
Review from Cindy L.
The AAA tour book gave this place 2 diamonds. Just needed a bare bones place to crash for the night, so 2 nights ago, I stayed here for $55 (tax included with AAA discount).
The pros:
*small refrigerator
*microwave
*free internet
*convenient location
The cons:
*1-ply toilet paper
*super cheap packets of shampoo & conditioner (1 each)
*small & thin towels (the bath towel was barely enough to wrap my hair in)
*horrible water pressure
*old & thin blankets
*small tv with broken remote control
*could be cleaner
Don't let the fancy sign fool you. This place is definitely not worth the price. There are plenty of other places to stay in this cute little college town.Listed in: Road Trip 2007

Review from Jessica F.
San Jose, CA
This was the WORST accomodations experience I have ever had.
Their website looks wonderful and portrays their rooms as spacious, clean and new. They have wonderful customer reviews (that have to be fake). I was so excited about having found a pet-friendly motel with good rates and nice rooms that I decided to upgrade to their Queen Suite with kitchen.
However, when we got there and checked into our suite, we got a bitter disappointment which continued to get worse through the duration of our stay.
The room was disgusting inside and out! Our room faced a busy street that was full of homeless and other shady types hanging around the motel. It was raining that weekend and we weren't comfortable leaving our wet shoes outside or even the car overnight.
The inside of the room looked like a crack house. It was tiny and had orange walls that were covered with stains, scuffs and cracks. The furniture in it looked like it came from Goodwill 20 years ago. It smelled stale and reeked of smoke. The bed looked old and dirty-- we didn't even want to sleep on it. The kitchen had nothing in it to cook or eat with. Why do you pay more for a kitchen that you can't use??
When I went to the front desk to complain about our room not resembling any picture or description on their website, I was offered to look at other rooms (not a suite) and change at no extra charge. First of all, I was getting a down grade and should have been reimbursed the difference, second of all, the other rooms were in no better condition, so there was no point in changing rooms.
I went back to express my disappointment and was not given an apology or discount. I was given a phonebook to look for another place to stay. I was only in town for one night and it was already 6pm, so I told them that option was out of the question.
It was a VERY disappointing experience, the manager would not come out and talk to me about the deception I felt between their website and their actual motel. they offered me no compensation for my very unpleasant experience. The place was disgusting and ended up being way more expensive than what you get.
I would NOT recommend this motel. The website looks great, but in reality, it is a nasty motel run by bad management. -

Not that bad. cheap, our room was pretty clean... For fifty bucks who cares? If you don't have a stick up your butt and want to save money, its worth a try. Seriously, the people who think its disgusting, WHAT DID YOU EXPECT FOR 50 BUCKS? THE EUGENE RITZ? its a motel stupid, nobody enjoys it.
