Review from Berkeley K.
New Orleans, LA
Attn Yelp:
This company also does business as ASAP Relocations and America's Best Movers!!!
Attn Potential Customers:
1) The owner, Roni Hayon, was recently arrested for fraud
2) See http://asaprelocations...
3) The woman Linda you will deal with on the phone is a serious bottom-dwelling scam-artist and she will absolutely find a way to rip you off.
4) Before doing business with this company please do yourself a favor and read the reviews on ASAP Relocations and America's Best Movers. To amuse yourself, check out all the 5 star reviews from people with no prior yelp reviews (fake reviews posted by employees or the owner's friends or whatever) then check out all the 1 star horror stories posted by what I assume are real people.
5) The review written by Linda P is the same Linda previously mentioned.
6) I recorded my conversations with Linda P while she was ripping me off...I plan to post it on youtube. I will update my review when I do. By the way, she got REALLY PISSED when she found out I was taping her!!!
7) Check these guys out on the better business bureau. It's pretty funny.
8) Good luck finding movers...do your homework! It's literally a jungle out there! -

I've moved every year for the past six years and have always used movers. Never has something so egregious happened as what ABM is pulling today.
They gave me a window of 12-4pm. At noon, the mover called and told me he wouldn't arrive earlier than 7pm. I asked him why he promised me a 12-4 window, and he told me that he didn't, but the office had... so it wasn't his fault.
Okay.
So I called the office and talked to some unpleasant woman. She kept repeating that the window wasn't a guarantee. I told her that they shouldn't give a window if they aren't going to hit it, and she told me I shouldn't tell her how to do her job.
Well, whatever. I guess I shouldn't tell her how to do her job as I've had no experience working as a receptionist at a moving company. But they should honor their windows. Now, starting at 7, this move probably won't be complete until midnight.
Unforgivable. Avoid. -
Review from Rej B.
I will add to the flood of comments for this horrible company. The movers themselves were quite good and were nice, friendly and efficient. I just wish they worked for another company....
They quoted me a price of 85$ an hour. I had bought several boxes and had tons left over. They said they would wrap my funiture in blankets. I was fine with that as we were only moving a mile or two away. They ended up charging me an extra 230$ for cratting 4 pieces of furniture that i did not approve. It was mostly cheap crappy ikea furniture that im not partial to anyway.nthere was 70$ worth of material charged, mostly for boxes, of which they said werent suitible, and used their own.
They would not remove the boxes from the truck till i paid in full, holding my furniture as ransom. It ended up costing me 800$ for a short local move. Dealing with the unprofessionals in the office the next few days was horrible as well.
They dont seem to understand that referrals is a huge part of this business, and i would never use them again, nor recommend them. They are a fly by nit business that wont be around this time next year... -

ATTN YELP: These frauds have changed their name to ABM Van Lines, Inc.
These guys are frauds. They showed up at 7:30 AM even though I scheduled 9:00. The salesperson told my wife there were no charges for materials, but then the guy said we would be charged for materials. I objected so he then told me he would only charge for crating the TV. I signed the papers because what can you do? You have to be out of the apartment by the next day and you have lined up your new place and services already.
Once the stuff was on the truck they said that I owed $540 for 3 boxes, bubble wrap, and tape. When I paid, they charged $57 to use a credit card. When I called to complain on Monday (I was nice I swear) they hung up on me.
Is there a zero star review option? A way to send the cops? I had my wife order the services because my work schedule is so hectic. English is her second language and she is not familiar with Yelp. Sure wish I had looked into it.
Matthew P should be looked at for being a shill, as I paid more than that to move 23 miles.

In response to the company writing back the reps statements are absolutely not true. They called us the day before and said they would have to change our 9-11 window and come at 7:00. When we said we booked 9:00 for a reason they told us they would then do their best to come at 9:00; they arrived at 7:30.
They told us there would be no excess costs for materials. when they arrived we had to initial to acknowledge that extra costs could be associated. At that point, you have given notice and need to move that weekend, you cannot really send them away and find another mover same day. The majority of our belongings were already pre-packed (we wanted to save time). They insisted that they completely wrap each piece of furniture with bubble and tons of tape, even though it did not need it. And yes, it was only three boxes. The guy told me he would only charge me to crate the TV and the lamps, but when we got to the new house it was suddenly $540 for bubble wrap, tape and boxes just to get our belongings off the truck. Then, there was a $57 service charge to charge our credit card, even though we had given the info to the salesperson ahead of time.
While I was protesting the guys were playing with my 3 year old daughter, so I just signed the damn papers and paid the fee. What else was I to do?
I called the PUC to report them. The PUC can regulate moves within California. The rep on the phone said they were well aware of this company and their practices. I can only assume this is why they changed the name from ASAP. STAY AWAY.Comment from Jessica F. of Americas Best Movers 3/29/2010

BOTTOM LINE. PLEASE, FOR YOUR OWN SAKE, DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. I have read nothing but similar stories to my own and would hate to have this happen to anyone else. It's just unfair how they are able to get away with treating people so poorly.
I tried giving them ZERO stars. This company is absolutely atrocious. Now I went on to one of those sites that send your info out to a bunch of different movers. Did my homework, went with this company because they seemed to do everything by the book. Poundage and not mileage...blah, blah, blah.
Okay so I talked to Angela I go into great detail about my belongings and what I plan to move. She quotes me at about 1100lbs and that would probably come to $930-ish and I think great let's do it. Just to be safe my girlfriend and I pack up a few boxes of stuff that we won't feel terrible about leaving behind.
The movers get there and tell us that they have been doing this for years and they would be surprised if all our stuff broke 1000 lbs. I figure hey they probably know after all this is their job. So we tape up the rest of the boxes and wrap all everything in bubble wrap. Then the movers say they have to box the tv( even though it is covered in bubble wrap). The "packaging" and "labor" end up being 150+ bucks and I shrug it off thinking "Oh well that's why they call it an estimate."
I get the break down a week later and they tell me that it was almost double the poundage ($1450) and that both Angela( whom I have not been able to contact period although i noticed on of their 5 star reviews was from an Angie) and the movers flat out lied to me. My girlfriend( whom I live with) tried calling them to see how such a gross error could have been made and they would not even speak with her. These fly-by-night con artists are the worst.
There were all sorts of hidden fees and surcharges that I wasn't told about. I ended up calling them and asking how they could misjudge the weigh so poorly. When I finally got a hold of a "supervisor" named Linda told me she didn't owe me anything and that she was not obligated to do anything for me. I explained to her that I was a customer and what she was doing was dancing dangerously close to extortion.
I was just so very upset with the whole ordeal and so I just decided to pay it. I get a call from Jasmin( who now only calls me through a blocked number) telling me that the movers are on their way. I ask when and she says she doesn't know but the movers will call 18-24 hours in advance. She then tells me if I am not there there will be a $300 surcharge for a missed delivery. This is the 22nd of December and I explain that I won't be available until at least the 27th as I( and most everyone else) will be on holiday. I wait on hold for what had to have been 30 min( i felt like only the gov't should keep you on hold that long, as they often do). I then find out I should expect it on the 27th a day I hadn't planned to be there and there is nothing I can do about it. -

If you want to hire a moving company who underquotes you, doesn't give you a date your belongings will arrive, doesn't answer ANY questions or return ANY of your phone calls - go with America's "Best" Movers Today! Hurry now and they may even throw in some MORE hidden fees!!!
In all seriousness, this has been quite possibly the worst move ever. We hired a moving company to take off the extra stress of having to lug a uHaul across the country and worry about the truck being broken into at night. BUT - if I would have known then the complete run around that America's "Best" movers has given us - I would have sacrificed a few days of hell for more a month without our stuff. Yes, a month ago tomorrow - September 16, this company came and picked up all of our stuff and we haven't seen it since then and still have another '5 to 10 days' to sit here and wait.
We went with this company opposed to others because of the extremely reasonable quote we were given. We listed out a FULL Inventory of all items we had and they told us it would be X amount for apx X lbs which is what it seemed like we had. They also quoted us at 48 cents a lb which was cheaper than any other place - so we said hey! Lets go with them! Horray.... not so much!
When they came to pick up our stuff that Monday, after looking at everything we had ready for them to move, the guy told us that he would have to charge an extra $400 for 'packaging'. Even though everything was boxed and bubble wrapped. I took out TONS of stuff, more furniture, art for the walls, lamps, etc so that it would lessen the cost of extra 'packaging'. He still wrapped up EVERYTHING and charged us an extra almost $400 there. Then, I asked about the final weight of our stuff and what the final charge will be.. his answer 'Oh, it could weigh this or it could be that.. it could cost this much or it could be that much' The guy had not ONE straight answer for me. He said they will call us for a final weight - which I knew then we would be in trouble because we would have NO proof of a final weight and I knew they would tack on extra lbs.
Not to my surprise, we received a call a few days later saying we were 700 lbs over the original estimate. Can we get proof of that weight, we asked? Oh, that will be an extra $50 they told us! Insane! Oh, and that 48 cents a pound on our estimate AND on the contract we SIGNED and I have sitting right beside me.. is magically now 50 cents a lb. Guess a signed contract means nothing to them.
So then still on the phone, we ask, ok, well, when will our items be shipped and when should we expect them in our new home town? Their answer 'We don't know, it could be 5 - 10 business days.' And they have to charge us a $75 'storage fee' until their next truck leaves! When will the next truck leave we ask? She said she will call us with an update. One week, nothing. Two weeks and no update. We call and they will 'call us back' They don't call back and we call again and they have no update but now it is 'could be up to 21 business days until delivery.'
So - here I am, in my new apartment with my two cats who miss and cry for their scratching posts and favorite beds every day for the past month. My boyfriend busy in law school and me writing this post sitting on the floor because I HAVE NO FURNITURE and have to pay these crooks of a moving company double what they originally quoted me so I can't go buy new stuff.
This is a long review, but I hope you read it and I hope you will NOT choose this company. I am still with out any of my belongings and STILL have not been given an EXACT date of their arrival...
If I receive my belongings soon, I will write a follow up review to let you know how it went. From what I've dealt with so far - I have a feeling it won't be within 10 days though. -

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I recently hired a moving company that was recommended to me through http://Moving.com. I used America's Best Movers (1-877-635-0945). The process of getting a quote was pleasant, and I had a good experience dealing with Billie in sales. However, I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the move itself. The quote I was given prior to moving day was doubled on the actual day of the move. When I called to question this, the person on the phone, Linda, was extremely rude, and told me that I obviously don't know the meaning of the word "estimate." She refused to tell me her last name or allow me to speak to her supervisor, eventually hanging up on me. The movers were unprofessional, smoking at my residence, with eyelid tattoos that looked as if they had gotten out of prison that morning. I was supposed to get a call when my belongings were picked up in California and again when they arrived at the check point in Colorado, but I didn't get either of these calls. Instead, I got a call at 10PM Sunday night notifying me I needed to take delivery by 7AM the next day, even though I was on the other side of the state, having been told on Friday night that my delivery wouldn't be for "another week or two." I called the company in San Jose, and was told that those calls are just a courtesy, and that they're not contractually obligated to let me know the status of my move or when I will have my belongings delivered. Again, the person on the phone was Linda, who screamed at me that I was a "problem customer" and said that they couldn't even try to make me happy, if I wanted to demand things that aren't in the contract (like more than 9 hours notice of delivery). When the semi arrived, my mattress and box spring were strapped to the outside of the truck, because they claimed they had too many moves inside and that they had run out of room. Almost every single box and piece of furniture was damaged or broken. I witnessed a mover turn a cabinet of mine onto its side, stand on it to reach a high box (clearly labeled "Fragile" and "this end up,") which he then pulled off the top of the stack to allow to crash to the floor of the truck. The doors to the cabinet he stood on were broken; the dishes in that box were shattered. Several of my items were missing, that I had logged on my inventory but which were not logged on theirs. When I tried to discuss my concerns with Linda, she actively screamed at me, called me a name, and hung up on me. I never raised my voice, and was only calmly asking if I could speak to her supervisor regarding my concerns, yet she brought me to tears. I have never, in my entire life, been treated so poorly by a professional company. Moving is an extremely stressful endeavor, and my experience with this company made my move a total nightmare. -

Wondering what ABM stands for? AMERICA"S BIGGEST MORONS!!!! If I could give a negative rating, I would. This is a long story, but YOU NEED TO READ THIS IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING ABM!!! This has a list of hidden fees you should be aware of.
First, we were quoted around $2400 for the whole move from CA to NYC. We had already packed everything and loaded it into a storage garage, and we had sold 95% of our furniture, leaving only a piano and table. All they had to do was load it from the unit to the truck. When they arrived, they informed us that our packing job was not good enough and they needed to pack up all the "loose" stuff, meaning small boxes. They charged us $30.00 to pack each box and only after they were done did they inform us that each box cost $40.00. We knew there was a fee to crate our piano, but then they told us they had to charge us to MOVE the piano. They charged us $75.00 for having to use an elevator...how does an elevator make your job harder??? It took them over 12 hours to load everything. Also, they charged us to crate the TV. According to them they were doing us a favor by "waiving" a bunch of fees. In the end we paid nearly $1300 extra for packing and materials. Due to the fact that we were moving to NYC, we did not have a delivery address yet. So, they offered one month of free storage. It took us a while to find our apartment so we went into the next month by about 10 days. THEY DO NOT PRORATE!!! Our stuff filled up about 2/3 of a 10x15 unit and yet they claimed that we took up three of their storage "vaults." So we had to pay $95 for each vault for a whole month even though we only used 10 days. Also, they only take cash and postal money orders, not bank money orders or any other type of guaranteed funds, so we had to pay the post office fee as well. The driver told us our stuff was around 4000 lbs. A week or so later we received a "revised" estimate that it was 5000 lbs. This took our final bill up another $500. All this time we had a terrible time getting anyone to answer our calls and emails. They were terrible to work with on the price, no matter what problems we had they basically said "oh well."
Finally, our stuff got on the road. We needed to transfer our piano to a storage unit rather than our apt and they wanted to charge us $150 for the second drop off. This was understandable until they also wanted to include another elevator fee. We knew we got one flight of stairs for free and we live on the 5th floor. However, they sent us an email informing us that a "flight of stairs" was considered 7 steps. Well $75 every extra set of stairs adds up when you have 68 stairs to your apt. Plus, because of our street restrictions they would have charged us the shuttle fee of $300.00. At this point our $2400 move was turning into $5450, and this was without any other surprise fees. So, in order to not eat up every last penny of our savings, we decided to have everything delivered to a storage unit and shuttle it home ourselves.
So, arrival date finally came. The moving truck arrived about an hour early. He then informed us that he could not get the truck into the unloading area. The storage place told us that the company they work with consistently brings in 18 wheelers so he should not have a problem. People were incredibly accommodating in moving cars and such. However, the driver adamantly refused to even try backing the truck in. When my husband suggested they talk about some ideas on how to get the truck in, the driver flew off the handle. He started screaming at my husband, swearing worse than a sailor. Then when my husband called the company, he stalked off to the truck and pouted. They got the truck in, but the driver refused to carry everything the 40 feet to the loading dock. Finally, we had had enough. We asked how much it would cost to have them just drop it all on the dock and we would load it in the elevator and pack the storage unit ourselves. They agreed to this for our remaining balance and told the driver to do it.
They got it all onto the dock and we began to move it. Among our things were at least 15 crushed boxes and several damaged pieces of small furniture.
This was our second terrible experience with a moving company, but ABM was by far the worst. -

What is the problem here with Yelp! Why are none of my terrible reviews not here when I check. I just moved in July! This is insane. These movers are shysters and in my case abusers that should be put in prison for what they have done to me. Many of my things are broken- they refused to take my belongings into the house. We had to call the police. They extorted additional money. I am a 50 yr old woman who just had a heart attack and they knew this. I have never in my life been treated like trash like this but then again- this company is loaded with middle easterners who have no respect for women in the first place. With my medical condition I am not permitted to lift anything and yet I had to have friends bring in all my belongings - queen size bed, furniture etc... I wan to see these suffer far worse then I . I need legal advice because until I put them out of business I will not rest.

They said if I didnt pay the EXTRA 1500. DOLLARS, they wouldnt deliver my belongings. Thes was double what I paid to move here from CAnanda. Becasue they change there name so often, and have their staff right there own reviews, I didnt investigate.
I didnt see this fradualant company REVIEWS, and the over one hundred and fourty unresolved complaints at the better bussiness bureau.

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. ONE STAR IS FAR TOO GOOD FOR THEM!
Pretty much everything you'll read in these reviews is true, these people are sketchy as hell. My father found them over the internet to move me from Santa Cruz to Los Angeles which took them nearly a month (get a map) after telling me it would take about two weeks.
I didn't have a full truckload of things so they told me they would hold on to it until they had a full truckload to deliver to the area, which they said would be about two weeks.
So after phone-call after dodgy phone-call, with all their people blaming it on someone else and not giving any names, I was so desperate I ended up having to pay an extra 500! dollars to have my things delivered.
As another review on yelp says, they basically held me hostage. Every time I called to get a date they said they didn't know and the person who would know wasn't in the office, and that they didn't know when they would be because they were 'busy in the field'.
This is an awful company and I have contacted the San Jose Better Business Bureau and anyone else who'll listen to complain about these people. I think they're used to this and that's why they don't give any names.
They prey on people who are desperate to move and can't afford to wait.
Hopefully you're reading this before you've hired them and won't make the same mistake we did.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! -

"Company Rating F
Our opinion of what this rating means:
We strongly question the company's reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law's licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company's industry is known for its fraudulent business practices. "
we contacted ABM to move from berkeley to NYC. although they were fairly straightforward i found them to be very deceiving and dishonest. I began dealing with one employee then when they started my move, i was transfered to another person who really lacked professionalism. After tracking down the address and showing up at the office on a monday, i was told that my delivery was going out in the next two days. I was then told by them that my shipment went out on the saturday of that week. The sub contracted driver told me that they infact left on monday. Many of the boxes were cover in bird feces and crushed damages. I had them carefully pack a fish tank, which they marked as broken on my bill of lading, There must have been a magician on the truck because it was not broken when he wrapped it, nor when i unwrapped it. It was marked broken "just in case". This company uses the first available date delivery method in stead of giving you an actual window. our OCT 1 delivery appeared on the 19th. The sub contracted driver showed up at my new address in a rented penskee truck, with no name, and no business cards.
ABM van lines used to be asap relocations. and now they answer their phone without a business name, just moving and storage.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Review from Daniel L.
Renton, WA
I just had a local moving service with America's Best Movers. First of all, I hope that everyone avoids this mover. Let me tell you why.
I moved 1 bedroom apt from Sunnyvale to San Francisco. Their estimation was $240 for 3 hours plus extra hours. I thought that it would be around 4~5 hours at most. I also had to have insurance to protect building damages at condominium with different entities for HOA. This mover charged me $50 for each entity with the total of $250.
Then, what happened at the moving date? They first came about 1 1/2 hour later than the appointment time. I had to beg the condominium to keep loading deck for me until 8PM. They said that base insurance is covered, but moving guys started packing stuff for furniture with dissembling the units without my permission. They kept saying that it's for liability due to insurance. I said that insurance was for the building, not my property. They didn't listen and also pushed me to sign up the contract with initials and signature. Otherwise, they will not move. (at the moving date? when I had to move out based on apartment contract?) They asked me to discuss with office, but the office is closed. So I was forced to sign up for all and they spent another two hours for packing (one additional hour for each packing and unpacking) as the total of 6 hours.
Then guess what? packing material they charged me $720 on the top of moving rate. It summed up to $1450 as total for the local move!!! Can you believe this? I kept arguing about this, and they don't listen. When I called the office finally on Monday, their first excuse was that "you signed". When you were forced to sign with no move or move at the last day of vacancy and late afternoon on Saturday, what other choices I had? In addition, what is all about that liability with insurance? The insurance I purchased got nothing to do with my property.
They will rip you off from every respect, and highly unethical in the sense that they know that you have to sign. They will pack your stuff no matter what (which I already packed all except furniture) and earn time with packing materials while dissembling your furniture. The insurance is ridiculous since they use it as the excuse for liability.
If you need any additional info, I have no problem to share my experience with this mover. I believe that this kind of mover should stay away from Yelp users, and that would be our right to find the best business provider. Please take my words as real.Comment from Jessica F. of Americas Best Movers 7/22/2010

We set up a quote for 1400 for the move, telling them every large item in the house. It was all fine UNTIL everything was loaded. Then they started racking up the price.
1. $35 per box when we had extra boxes of our own, and asked them before not use anything with extra charges. even WORSE they cut up these boxes and used them to cover the furniture instead of the stack of blankets in their truck.
2. They put my sturdy hamper full of clothes into a box and charged $35 dollars for that as well.
3. We had told them ahead of time that we had an antique organ to move. Once it was packed and in the van we were informed that there was a $250 dollar charge because it was heavy.
4. Once we arrived at the new house they suddenly demanded to be paid in cash or there would be a 5% fee added on.
5. They would not unload until they were paid these "extra" fees.
6. They refused to give a receipt until we signed a document saying we were satisfied with the move. This is to the point where they were going to drive off without it until we called the police.
7. Nothing was placed in the proper location and they refused to move items a second time.
8. The foreman Eli was unprofessional, and threatening, and would flat out ignore the fact that you were speaking to him unless it was something he wanted to hear. Also he was very disrespectful to women.
9. They insisted on taking apart our tables for a local move, and kept the screws. When we called to complain about this they called us liars and told us to go to home depot and replace them.
10. The problems with this company go all the way up to management.
11. They damaged multiple pieces of furniture and would not acknowledge it and tried to stop us from writing the damage down. -

Do Not Use Them. I wish I had read their review prior to signing up with them. Like the previous reviewers, I was quoted a fee and then ended up paying more. This company makes numerous promises that doesn't fulfill. They promise loads of promises and later deny that they ever promised or even talked about those issues. They assured me that I would get the official weight papers from the State Highway Scales officials and never saw the paperwork . They make you pay cash before unloading your stuff, so there is no way that you can go after the money if you have problems with them. Joe (I believe is the owner of the company) seems to always be having issues w/ his cell phone because he is always in areas where there is no reception and can't return phone calls. The secretary, Jasmine, omg is rude and uncooperative. Employees are taught to lie about facts, they agree w/ what you say and later deny statements. I especifically asked in the event that my stuff gets to destination before I do what happens to my stuff and they assured me they go in the warehouse, I asked if there is a fee for the warehouse and they said as part of my contract, warehouse is free for one month. Well, the stuff arrived before I did and they tell me, warehouse is free at origin not destination......dah! I asked specifically and the answer before they loaded the truck was different than after. I am truly wondering what government entity is regulating this industry and why is this company still in business. So, those of you on here, I think Department of Transportation would be the entity to complain to, so go beyond BBB.
Bottom line: Do Not Use them. -

I wonder if this is the same Americas Best Movers I had the misfortune to contract with in 2001. They were based Plantation, FL but had affiliates all over the US. I paid them $3400 for a $985 move quote because they kept changing pricing, such as placing boxes at end of truck bed to make it appear I had more things than I said I would have when they estimated, meanwhile the center & front of truck was empty. I had flown to the opposite coast to assist my son with getting set-up at college and our new apt set-up, and husband was to finalize things on his Coast. Anyway, we rec'd multiple threatening calls, our things held hostage for $12,000 fee in CASH, I refused, began reporting to the DOT, FBI, police, etc. I refused to pay the extortion and they continued to harrass me every minute 24/7 with threats. The group was caught in an FBI sting, arrested, and all have served their time with the kingpin being released this December. Unfortunately, only a small cell of these crooks were caught. I never rec'd my things, nor the restitution promised to me by the FBI and State of FL; with a lot of calling, a UHaul center said they had a room of things, believed to me mine and it was going to auction the next day. UHaul refused to let me examine anything, had to take their word on faith; had to pay the storage fees for a yr, penalty fees, and rental truck plus clean out the storage room or have to pay a $150 cleaning fee - so I was out another $950. We finally got into the room and it was all destroyed junk belonging to about 10 other families, the only thing of mine was my brand new custom made love seat that was loaded on their truck with the factory packaging and wrappings but now all removed, knifed up, urinated on, broken glass under all the seats. Anyone opening a moving company should have been smart enough to have researched the name on the BBB site, http://Badmovers.com, DOT, FBI, and many other sites to know this name is cursed so I have to conclude this group is one and the same. If so, they should be closed down immediately for their participation in all the other 65 victims I personally know about, and including a role in my situation - movers from the Sacramento group were involved as were ones in NY, NJ, FL, AZ and who knows who else. Where are my things??!? Where is our restitution monies???? Any idea how difficult it is for 3 adults to sleep on a bare floor for months & months, and only the clothes on their backs and a couple items from good will? What little funds we had were sucked up by trying to fight the situation, get a new apt, replace absolute bare essentials. Try getting an executive job with sneakers, shorts, and t-shirt and trying to explain away your sad tale.... ahh, doesn't work, trust me.
