My fiance and I planned a week long vacation at Disneyland.  We are a young couple on a budget and wanted to stay somewhere safe and clean and convenient and affordable. The America's Best Inn - Anaheim is great for that!
I had done tons of research and anything within this competitive price range (only $45/night) there was nothing that seemed as nice as this place.
We arrived late at night after a long drive and had to ring the buzzer to be able to check into our room. The room was huge! It had hard wood floors, massive king sized bed, tons of floor space and a separate bathroom with a decent shower. One thing is that there are not a lot of amenitities, I definitely recommend bringing your own toiletries, etc. There was also a microwave and refrigerator that came in super handy since we were there for so long, we could bring snacks and luncheons and save on breakfasts, etc.
The motel is prime location to a local bus stop right on South Harbor Blvd, at the corner which is a quick ride to the park if you want to save your walking for actually being in the Disneyland parks. The walk is definitely doable and we walked I think more than we rode the bus or drove. The free parking is also a plus!
Overall, I would highly recommend this place if someone is trying to go to Disneyland on a budget. The customer service was really nice, the maids were especially kind and made sure we were taken care of.
There was a pool but since we were there in February it wasn't quite swimming weather.
For the price, the location, the cleanliness, the care and the hospitality I would give it five stars because I think it's a gem.

So it was a last minute plan to drive to disneyland from Vegas.  We just needed a place to stay for two nights.  It was about 85 bucks per night...good deal being that we were not expecting to be in our rooms at all.

We got there and it was a two story motel.  LOL.  Like the ones you see in the movies.  We checked in and the lady in the front was very nice and also gave us a goody bag.  Hahahaha.  It was a brown bag filled with hygiene stuff which was pretty cool.

The room came with a microwave, mini refrig, free wifi, and a nice clean bathroom.  What I disliked was:

The bathroom tub wouldn't drain so it felt like my feet was underwater.  The pillows smelt like it was not washed.  What I did (I was too busy to complain):  slept with a hoody and with the heater on so I would not need to cover myself with beddings.  lol.

I mean, I guarantee they would have helped us but it was my decision not to ask for help.

It is about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland...which we didn't do anyway...lol

The lady at the front desk is not very customer service friendly but the rooms are awesome.  Laminate floors, clean beds, good.cable, and alot of room.  Great for disney

My hubby and I stayed here from December 26 to December 29, 2010. The cost of the hotel room is cheap compared to other hotels that we researched. The room was $54/night. With tax, it came out to be $62/night. I was expecting a higher rate due to the Christmas holiday.

Each room had a mini fridge, microwave, free wifi, and a clean bathroom. It looked like the rooms were remodeled since there was granite in the bathroom and on the nightstand. The bathroom comes with face soap and conditioning shampoo. Bring your own toiletries if you need lotion and better shampoos or soaps. Otherwise, the bed and bathrooms were clean.

You may have read some comments on other websites regarding the flooding in the shower tub. Just do the following and you will not have any flooding:
    1) Pull the shower tub faucet tab up. Pull as high as necessary.
    2) Turn on the hot water, and the water should come from the shower head.

There was continental breakfast in the main lobby. The choices are juice, coffee, and pastries. We weren't interested in the options, so I would skip this.

The hotel is within walking distance to Disneyland, but it is quite a walk. It is at least a 2 mile walk if you want to enter the park through the Downtown Disney section. If you drive your car, you can park in the Mickey and Friends Parking Garage for $15/day.

I would stay at this hotel again.
