On one hand, I was pretty stoked when we found a hotel at 3am on Sunday morning, after calling pretty much every place we pasted on the highway for last 40 miles.  The price wasn't bad ($85 plus tax), the sheets were clean and the room was non-smoking.  Given how desperate we were to stop for the night, it was a god send.

On the other hand, I wouldn't stay here if I wasn't desperate.  First off, they told me that they only had ONE room left... and then we I was checking in, the guy at the front desk was telling someone on the phone that they "only have ONE room left..."  So, thats kinda dishonest.. Plus, when I tried to give him my AAA card, he told me that they weren't doing the AAA discount "that weekend."  Is that even allowed??  I mean, if you agree to be listed with AAA and give their discount, you don't get to pick and choose, right?  Plus, while the sheets WERE clean , the room wasn't exactly pristine.  You could tell it HAD been vacuumed, because none of the furniture and been moved - hence dust under everything and in all the corners.  

For a night when you need it, you can keep this place in mind as "plan b"
