I have been to this shop at least three times, and I have has nothing less than great customer service. The first and second visits were to buy 4 new tires (on different vehicles). I am a price-conscious shopper and called around. Their prices were much better than other similar shops in the area, some of them by as much as $50 per tire. This last visit was to get my brake pads changed. They do everything that the dealership would do for the same brake service at a fraction of the cost. They've expanded their services recently to do more than just tire services, so I'm definitely going to use them again for future maintenance work.
The guys who work there are very personable, and you feel confident that they are not trying to cheat you out of additional services. Thanks Pete and your team. -

Rudest service I have ever received...try calling these guys on the phone. Horrible!

Awesome awesome service. Came here for an oil change and they hooked me up, free of charge. Not sure everyone gets this, but I'll take a free oil change any day! I'll so come back and pay next time!

These guys are very thorough and honest. I trust them big time! I highly recommend this shop for your automotive needs. I'm not going anywhere else as long as I live in OC. Awesome customer service and competitive prices.

I had a great experience with the guys at American Tire Depot!
The manager, Eric, was especially friendly. It was pouring down rain outside, and my not-so-smart nephew didn't think he'd need a jacket. Well, of course, he walks in the tire shop shivering, and Eric loaned my kid nephew his jacket until my car was done.
He said it would take about 20 minutes - I was out of there in less than 15. Super service! :)
A note to the wise: There is another American Tire Depot on Harbor Blvd., just a few blocks south of this one. I cannot vouch for their service though. ;) -

Oook, came by about a year ago to get tires mounted and a four-wheel alignment. The manager said it'd take an hour. Fast forward, and the worker finishes the alignment.
For some reason, I didn't trust him, so I have no shame, and I walk over to the alignment screen, and ba-bam! All these red numbers meet my face. Red like, "defcon 1, danger will robinson," or maybe a much less dramatic, "you're not done yet." He wasn't even close to spec, nor were the settings even very balanced in relation to each other. I'm sure I would have been fine as is, other than perhaps the possibility of uneven wear or strange handling, but I was going to the track soon, and that ish matters to me.
Anyway, I insisted he get them in spec (which itself already includes an acceptable error range that he was not within), and he said fine, and took another 45 min or so to do it. Now we're way beyond schedule; I felt bad for the guy, so I tipped him with whatever cash I had on me for being such a trooper. So that experience wasn't totally horrible.
Fast forward to three weeks ago; I asked my car friends for shop recommendations, which I then promptly ignored for some retarded reason. I don't know why, but I came back to this American Tire Depot, call me lazy. The same worker's still there, and I'm somewhat relieved, because at least he stuck it out to the end last time. But the old manager's been replaced by a total asshole.
Anyway, tonight, I was re-torquing my wheels - something I usually do immediately after a shop/dealership mounts my wheels since, save maybe Hiro's and various other specialty car shops, they will almost always torque them way beyond specification - and I find a lug nut missing! Yaaaaay for safety! Yeah sure, there's 4 more, but blah blah blah physics, extra stress, unbalanced force distribution, something something. -

my old tire finally blew out. been putting off changing it due to the bubble forming on the outside of the tire. walked in they pulled my info from when i bought them 3 yrs. ago and gave me a spectacular deal on 2 tires. I cannot give details on the deal but trust me!!
The job was done quickly and they were spot on with timing only took 1 hr. Thanks guys!!!
