Dear Yelpers: Thanks again!  I was going to this area and needed a place to eat that was quick, tasty and relaxing.  Based upon prior reviews, I knew this place would fit the bill.

So, it is in a strip mall, and doesn't look like much from the outside.  But it is worth trying if you are in the area.  While none of the food is outstanding, it is all more than acceptable for the price.  Oh, and the drink prices.  Holy cow!  They run a special for $0.50 drafts, but regular price is only $1.50 for draft beer or $5 for a pitcher.  Maybe I'm too used to downtown prices, but $5 doesn't even buy you a pint in most places near me.  Only beer and wine though.  Unfortunately, I was heading to an event so I couldn't drink, so I can't comment on the quality of the drinks.

If I was going back, I would go with the steak tips with the baked potato (for reference, I think that would cost me about $10, which includes the salad bar).

I have to agree totally with tiffiny m. I have tried twice to get a 24 oz porterhouse med rare. In 2 visits I have had a total of 5 steaks brought to me. The 1st time the 3rd was edible and I gave up waiting, just ate then emailed the corporate office. Nothing from them. The 2nd time there I tried to give them another chance. Same thing, The 1st was way over done. The 2nd was grey in areas and discusting. I orderded some fried food and left. I will never go back unless they can prove to me they know how to cook a steak.

Get the #$&! outta here! Five stars, people? FIVE stars? In what frickin universe would this place ever merit five stars?!?! It is absolutely terrible, if you hadn't already gathered that, judging from the photo I uploaded of my nachos. I can get better nachos at a high school football stadium.

This "steakhouse" has a quick-order line setup with a free salad bar / buffet included with each entree. I ordered a simple grilled chicken, before warily making my way over to the salad bar. Offerings were horrendous. "Salad" consisted of iceberg lettuce with no nutritious greens whatsoever. There were, however, multiple vats of sour cream and butter for the horde of diabetic beasts clustered around the baked potato bar. Curious about a cauldron of some red mixture, I asked the staff "Is this marinara or salsa?" The staffmember, to my great puzzlement, answered "yes." I tried to clarify, providing additional details, and got no where.

I resigned myself to a table in a far corner with a Corona to drown my sorrows. NO LIME, mind you! Of course an establishment of this sort wouldn't stock the appropriate garnishes. You can't expect that at all.

When my grilled chicken arrived, it was slathered with an overly sweet, overly salty teriyaki sauce. What else did I expect?

Yelp, you did me dirty. I was driving around looking for something to eat, and could only glance at my phone briefly to select a spot based on star ratings. Next time, I'll pull over and do better due diligence.

I will say, however, that this place is HUGE. If you don't love your children enough to give them healthy, natural foods, you might wanna take the team out to this place after a soccer game. Maybe :(

    This place is good.

    This is how it works:

You walk in and straight ahead is a large picture menu above your head.  You choose a number (choices range from all sorts of cuts of meat, fish, chicken, etc). You tell a lady who is standing at the station your choice..and you get a food tray with a little number placed on it.  You then slide down the path (its like a school cafe tray line).. If you want soda...someone is there for it...you want dessert ..etc..corn on the cob...etc...you then hit the cashier..and boom..you pay and then.you then take your seat. (you choose where you want to sit).

So far you have only picked your main dish (steak, potato or fries, garlic bread, etc).  You then can go to the buffet and get anything from mac and cheese...to chicken legs...vegetables..beets...salad...etc...all sorts of stuff...and they have fruit and pudding for dessert. By time you sit down from the buffet..your main course arrived...

If you are into fancy restaurants...this isnt it.... this isnt even as fancy as a chilis...believe that or not...this is for the person that eats to live. You get alot of food for very little money.  The thing is..the food is actually good... its not like buffet quality food.  The steak is just as good as a 4 star steakhouse.

I consider this place a hidden gem.  Its not in the best area of town (there's a lot of shops and restaurants nearby)...so i can see outsiders simply passing on it due to that...but once inside...and once seated (the ordering with the trays might be a little scary at first)) I think you will say..this isn't that bad.

Its clean...seating area is pretty large...so you can just choose your little area and you can have a good amount of privacy.

Not a place for dates unless you been going out a long time. Great for families, elderly, and singles too (i often see a number of people eating by themselves..why? because you can get steak and a buffet for like 8 bucks...

good place.   oh and you don't need to leave any tips...since you really don't have a "waitress".

I've been going to this restaurant once a year for the last few years because of an annual convention nearby in Waterbury. This restaurant is by no means fine dining but it's inexpensive and it's good enough. Basically, when you enter the restaurant, you order meals from the picture menu by number. Most meals include unlimited helpings from their self-service salad bar. My personal favorite is the seafood platter because it's only a dollar more than having the salad bar as a dinner entree. I think the salad bar is the real treat here. Aside from the usual salad vegetables, they have a few hot dishes, pasta,  and dessert. The dining area is spacious and I've never been there at a time when I couldn't find immediate seating.
