I have been using American Pride, Williamsburg for over two years after having bad experiences at other local car repair shops. American Pride stands by their work and has been very accommodating when I have had a vehicle emergency. I have also purchased an automobile for my college age daughter. American Pride listen to what she wanted in a car and quickly had a car to meet those needs. We had a loan, tags on the car and were out the door in no time. Not like the high pressure sales you receive from the local dealerships.

I was a little disappointed that they charged me $100 just to diagnose the problem. I understand that they don't want to spend the work diagnosing a problem only to have the customer not opt to do any work. But I did end up a few hundred dollars worth of work done and I thought the extra $100 was unfair. I don't think that is the general practice. I've had work done on my car before and never been charged just for the diagnosis. They did give me a rewards card, but I don't intend to use it because I will not be coming back.

American Pride Automotive is a true and tested family run business. Chuck (father) and Charlie (son) started this business in 1995 and the revenue doubled nearly every year for the next decade.
American Pride Automotive has expanded to two locations, Yorktown at 1939 George Washington Mem. Hwy. and Williamsburg at 5406 Airport Rd.
The scope of services offered is a complete automotive service and repair center. Jasper Engines and Transmissions have been our specialty. Factory scheduled maintenance, tires, brakes and State Inspections.
Meet the Business Owner: Charlie M.
Charlie joined the Army Infantry straight out of High School in 1984, in 1988 Charlie came to Virginia with his new wife Diane to join his father Chuck in business. Charlie and Diane live in Williamsburg and have three children, Chuck lives in Newport News and is active in the day to day operations.
