I had a wonderful experience with American Pride this weekend. My '97 corolla started making unpleasant sounds on the way to visit a friend in Williamsburg this holiday weekend. We found American Pride with a google-search and were able to book an appointment for 8am the next morning--which was a federal holiday. I received a response within 10 mins of submitting my inquiry and had nothing but friendly helpful interactions with the staff. I needed a new flex pipe, they had it in stock, and replaced it within 3 hours. They even welded a few wear and tear issues and put air in my tires at no extra cost. I was particularly impressed because as an out-of-towner, they knew i would not be reoccurring customer, but still went above and beyond for great service. If I lived in W.burg, they'd be my mechanic.

My only experiences are with general maintenance, so please keep this in mind. The staff are nice and don't make you feel like an idiot if you're not a car guy, so that's a plus. However, after looking around a bit, the prices are quite high. No coupon or discount will make the price they charge for a simple oil change and tire rotation acceptable. If you just need basic maintenance, take a look at other options, like Buggy Bathe.

Best auto repair shop in Williamsburg, VA, bar none. Honest, easy to work with and repairs/service done right the first time. I would highly recommend American Pride to anyone needing auto service in Williamsburg, Yorktown, Newport News or the surrounding areas.

American Pride Automotive was established in 1995 by Charlie and Chuck Marcotte. At it's origin they were the head oil changers, floor sweepers and telephone answerer. American Pride has grown into a dual location repair shop, used car dealership and in all they employ over 20 of the finest people in the industry. Numerous awards have been one and every day is still seen as an exciting adventure.

Father to Andrew, Charlie and Allison; husband to Diane. Charlie loves cars, always has and always will. This passion is seen every day with all customers.
