American Moving moved our household with care and helped make a very stressful day pleasant. I liked that Nick came to my house for the estimate, all of the others just did the estimate on the phone which can leave you wondering how much you'll really end up paying. They were very clear on what they would move and what would cost extra. The free used boxes were great, all I needed to buy was a roll of their packing paper, markers and tape. Our move was local.
On the day of the move, our team of 5 really worked their buns off. They were never grumpy and were kind when we changed our mind on the placement of furniture several times. Nothing was damaged, and they always asked questions, really nice guys! I'd use them again in a second. -

Gabrielle and his team are FANTASTIC! We had bought some couches from a local store. The store's movers had been trying to get these large couches into our third floor flat and no matter how hard we tried they wouldn't fit up either flight of stairs. I called another moving company asking if they had a crane... and they didn't. That other company referred us to American Moving and they said they could get the job done!!! I was also afraid that the crane would cost more then the couches... but it didn't. The price was very fair. Once the couches were set they helped us with the little details. I feel like they attended the details with care and left us in good shape. I was very happy with their service.

I went to American Moving to rent a truck for a friend's local move. The guy that helped us was courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. We were in and out in maybe ten minutes, with zero hassles, even though I decided to make last minute changes (insurance) and to rent an appliance dolly.
I would definitely recommend them and return to them in the future. -

We received quotes from three companies and even though this one was NOT the cheapest, we chose this company because of how thorough and professional they seemed to be during our preliminary meetings. We definitely made the right choice because the crew was clearly experienced and worked very efficiently. More important to us, they were so friendly and fun to be around. Since the move took two full days, this was critical. Later, they came back to pick up any boxes and materials we had to get rid of after unpacking. We will confidently recommend American Moving to our friends and family!

We had a fantastic moving experience with American Moving. The driver was experienced, professional and most important of all.... friendly. We had to move our office across town and they made it incredibly painless. I'd recommend them to anyone who is looking to make their move easy. Big fan.

American Moving & Storage got me out of a major jam when the movers I had hired became skittish about dealing with snow in Summit County 3 days before my scheduled move. I called American and spoke with Nick who promptly consulted with owner Gabriel and they came up with a fixed price and commitment to move me within two hours. The day before the move, Rick called to confirm and ask me if I had any questions (and gave me his cell number)--they are all very professional businessmen. The day of the move we had more snow but that didn't bother Charlie, Gil and Shawn who worked diligently and with great humor. Not only was this the best move I've experienced, I'm sure I saved money in the end because the other independent companies I spoke with wanted to charge per hour with no maximum--including driving time. With snow on the roads, driving time alone could have doubled the price. If you want a professional independent moving company (from experience, I suggest staying away from brokers) who will give you a very fair price and do the job efficiently and with great care, hire American. You won't be sorry!

My husband and I were planning a local move within Boulder and after doing some research, I decided on American Moving & Storage. From the start, I found them to be professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The office staff listened attentively to my needs and detailed inventory, then gave me an estimate that was very accurate. They were responsive and answered questions that popped up in the weeks before the move.
On the day of the move when we had a last minute change (we decided to move some stuff out of a mini storage space in addition to moving from one home to the next), they entire team was very accommodating. We were very happy with our 3-man crew of movers. They were hard-working and courteous. They worked fast, but carefully. In addition to moving our possessions, they also packed our kitchenware and dishes saving us a lot of work. They were well-organized and made sure to arrange furniture as we asked.
We highly recommend American Moving for any move, big or small.
