Review from Tom m.

I've been going there for the last few months, best way to beat the winter blues. Cheap drinks 2-3 bucks for premium shots, and beers! Pool table, kareokee nights, cards, and best of all bean bags, cornhole every Thursday night!

And here I was, thinking I might have the first review of this complete hole in the wall place that my Chicago friends love. Way to go, fellow Yelpers, for acknowledging this place as "magical"--the Legion Hall is a riot to drink at.
Picture: 6'5" ceilings, Christmas lights all around, no taps, shower curtains over the bathroom stalls, cornhole upstairs, and a sloped and curving staircase. Oh, and all overseen by FDR himself, with Halloween decorations providing him support.
The Legion Hall is smoky, and that is my only complaint. But it's something you put up with living in Indy, and I guess I can do so for this case too.
Drinks range from bottles and cans of beer to mixed drinks and shots, all ranging between $2-4 and mixed right there. But I don't think you could order a cosmo in this kind of place--it's a bit more the G&T, rum and coke, aka simple mixed drink kind of crowd. Unless you're like me and end up taking a tequila shot every time you go in.
A great dive, and a great place to hang out at any point in the night. Oh, and don't ring the bell! -

Cheap drinks, good people, good management and friendly service. A hidden gem in the heart of the city.
