These guys are for real. I was a trained plumber in the military, (granted 40 years ago), but had a real tricky problem with a leak in my irrigation system. I flat out couldn't find the source of the problem...my side yard was becoming a swamp. Standing water in the flower beds and lawn area.
American Leak set the app't for the day following my call, explained their fee schedule, arrived and proceeded to find the leaky pipe 30 feet from where I thought it was leaking. They have the tools and expertise to find hard to find not so obvious water leaks.
Once they isolated the leak at the base of one of my sprinkler valves, they replaced a Rubic's cube of plumbing fittings to get me back up and running for next Spring. This leak likely had been an issue for years, so as of today, I will begin saving on my EBMUB bill. No way could I or any do-it-yourselfer find the source of this leaky water main without the American Leak pros. Thanks Scott and Daniel for fixing a tricky problem which you guys assessed as routine. -

They are the Best!!! Scott was Great!!! He was very descriptive in how he located the leak. What I liked best was he explained everything as well as giving me knowledgeable about how to detect a leak and what to do next time. A repair I expected to cost thousands of $$$ only cost me about $300...Thank you Very Much American Leak Detectors You are the Bomb!!!

I am very pleased with American Leak Detection. They were very professional and helpful. Although they were not able to find the source of the problem. I appreciate all their help. Its hard because they are the 4th professional we had to inspect the issue and we are still unsure of the source. American leak detection at least confirmed the issue is not coming from our house, which at least gave me piece of mind because it is not something major we need to pay for. Now I can only hope HOA will do their job. Thank you American Leak Detection.

I have similar experience as some other Yelpers! I called American Leak Detection to ask for help to detect a slab leak. The staff gave me some instructions over the phone to do some simple preliminary tests. It turned out that my house was fine. In other words, I got free technical advice that worked. The professionalism and honesty of this company is outstanding and these are exactly the qualities that every consumer is looking for. I will be recommending them to anyone I know. I will also use them should such a need arise.

Scheduling the appointment with Hillel was a breeze and he was very friendly and helpful when chatting about our issue and their service. They came out to the house today and discovered our "leak" right away... it turned out to be quite simple, but I was happy to have some experts come out and give us a definitive answer instead of us trying to guess (we're just not that handy, I'm afraid). They even charged us less since it was fairly simple and they didn't have to bust out the big guns (aka the fancy leak detection tools). Highly recommend!

I called Leak Busters to get some information about plumbing services. The relay service isn't very well informed, so I will have to call again during the day.
American Leak Detection performs inspections, repairs and plumbing work. They couldn't give me any estimates, even on a service charge. So I'm hesitant to even call them back and will explore other options in the meantime.Listed in: 9-5ers Etcetera

these guys are great, they found the source of water damage in my unit even when my plumber missed it. they were extremely thorough in their inspection, testing every possible water source.
costs me a fortune though - $475 for a commercial inspection (i live in a condo, which is connected to a business).
fortunately for me, i'm yelper and as of now they do offer a 10% yelp discount (yay yelp!). they were kind enough to give it to me even though an invoice had already been submitted through my HOA.
i'm still over 400 bucks in the hole, but the $47.50 did add a sliver of a silver lining to my day.

We used them at the school where I work & they were able to find a line break when no one else could, so I called when I had what I thought was the same problem at home. I talked with them on the phone, they explained how I could diagnose the problem myself to see if they were needed - turns out it was sometthing else & I didn't need them after all! I wouldn't hesitate to call them again!
