American Heat was a motorcycle weekend that is hosted by Road Shows (http://www.yelp.com/bi...) in Palm Springs on October 17 and 18. I know that they had a custom bike competition and live music, but I was only able to check out their street fair later on in the evening. It was nice to walk down Palm Canyon drive at night without cars going up and down it. Fun people watching was had. Some of the bikes that I saw in the daylight were amazing. The bikers courteously idled the downtown back roads and allowed me to sleep.
