De-Lish!! I have been twice for work dinners and it is one of my favorties. The pasta is hand made, entrees come with a salad and dessert (go for the liquor over ice cream-you have to ask). For dinner, go for the butternut squash pasta- amazing! Can't wait to head back to LA and have a casual yet delicious dinner at American Farmhouse!

I like it.
I was debating whether to rate it three or four stars but my overall experience leaned toward four.
The atmosphere: Quaint, cute, definitely homestyle. It's like a tiny dinner one might find in middle America. The 'America' part is definitely played up, from the decor to the music (very American big-band 40s era, blues/jazz [the only true original American music genre, many say]) to the classic movies playing on the TV screen.
The food: Tasty. We had the omelet. It was cooked perfectly (the inside ever so slightly runny), with generous amounts of cheese and filling (bacon, vegetables). Served with yummy potatoes and toast. Their Stash teas were also good (many places have cheaper brands).
The service: Good. Our waitress was attentive, but as one reviewer wrote, 'didn't do anything to make you feel welcome'; in other words, she was cordial, but not warm and smiling.
You have to trek two doors over and up a flight of stairs for the restrooms. -

Not Living Up to Its Potential
The decor is nice, but boy, is this place small. There might be only 10 tables in the place. It has a quaint, farmhouse feel with old style music playing softly in the background, which is all nice if that's your thing.
The two girls who waited on the customers looked like they wanted to be somewhere else. They weren't rude or anything, but they definitely didn't do anything to make you feel welcome.
The food was ok, but nothing I couldn't make at home.
All in all, the place isn't living up to its potential. The theme it has is a good one that I believe people want, but the space they are in is too small. They need 5-10 more tables in there. The waitresses seem like nice people, but they need to act as if they want to be there and are happy to see you (you are responsible for their paycheck and tips, after all). The food is ok, but there really needs some BAM! dishes on there that people talk about and come back for.
I will definitely give this place another chance, maybe on a sunny day when I can sit outside and the staff feels more up to it. -

I enjoyed a flat iron steak with grilled vegetables here. It is a very small place and nothing fancy but the service was good, there is a different down-home feel than most of LA and the food was decent. I love drinking out of a mason jar!
They serve a yummy soup as an appetizer and you can take your own bottle of wine with no corkage. -

I finally make it here last weekend!! It was quite good!
The selection on the menu was great, and then when I saw the food come out to other tables - I could hardly wait. Problem was some great looking sandwiches had been served near me and I wants to change my order.
The Omelette was tremendous though. It comes with the standard things of quacamole, cheese, etc. and then you select the breakfast meat you want. We also ordered the griddle stack that was also quite good.
I want to come back and try the rib eye sandwich and hamburger -
Review from Janea W.
I've almost found my new favorite place for breakfast. We showed up early since we went to the 6:30 Mass this morning, and the restaurant wasn't due to open for another 20 minutes. Whoops. I was hungry, and the bf was laughing at my misfortune so I was *not* in the mood to be messed with. I guess they saw me peeping through the window to see if anyone was in there because the guy ran out and invited us in for a cup of coffee. How sweet! And stepping out of the car you could smell the yummy goodness of breakfast foods wafting in the air. NOM.
I am always leery of trying places for the first time, especially when no one I know personally has dined there...and I took a chance on Yelpers' reviews, even though the last time I did that bit me in the behind (see my review of Katana-ya here: http://www.yelp.com/bi...)
The menu is very simple and straightforward. They offer a choice of Grilled Breakfast Stuff (bacon, ham, Portuguese sausage, ground turkey, or flank steak) with your entrée. I settled on the breakfast wrap, no sour cream, with bacon. I like my meals savory and spicy, not sweet.
I was kind of worried about what their "trail camp beans" would be like because everyone's idea of ranch-style beans is different. I was really hoping they would be smoky, peppery, black beans - and they were :) I was really glad they weren't sugared, BBQ pinto/red beans. The wrap was HUGE and was more like a burrito than a wrap. I couldn't finish the whole thing. The breakfast potatoes were so scrumptious, I couldn't believe it. They weren't over cooked and the portion was generous. One tip I would like to suggest is perhaps cutting up the bacon instead of leaving long strips in the burrito. I don't think it should be work to eat breakfast.
BF ordered French toast with a side of the "tavern ham." He asked me, "Why do you eat bacon and not ham?" Again, I like spicy and savory not sweet and sugary. And of course I still tried the ham, and of course I did not like it :p
2 breakfasts, orange juice, and coffee - $26.
The only thing that was slightly annoying is we did have to wait 20 minutes to put in our order. I didn't quite understand why the server said something about the computers were down so she had to wait...I think there's something called a piece of paper? Maybe it's just protocol. But again, they did let us in early anyway so that's why I wasn't too bothered.
The decor here is charming. The chairs at the table are sort of mismatched and you have the picnic blanket type tablecloths. There's also a large screen tv mounted on the wall which I think is good if you want to pull someone out of the house for breakfast during football season haha! -

- DESSERT is a RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Small and cute place
- good for weekend lunch
- service is decent
I came here for lunch during the work week. The one complaint is, it took almost an hour from sitting to finishing. It's during the work week and they should know that most people are coming in for a quick lunch.
I loved that they had breakfast for lunch. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was huge! I had it with the tri tip and it was good.
The other guys ordered from the lunch menu and their meals came with soup. I tried a little with some salsa and it was good.
At the end, I decided to order an ice cream sandwich. It was good but NOT worth almost $6!!!! It was two small cookies with a scoop of ice cream. Seriously? $6 for that? What a rip off.
I'm a little angry about the dessert. Don't mess with little Jenn and her dessert and for that, I probably won't go back. -

Came here I think cuz my friend read reviews about it on Yelp...Bummer...
The food was okay...
The place is small and resembles some old style country restaurant maybe...mom and pop style...
Stupid Fly kept buzzing around inside so I think if you leave the front door open get a screen door at least...
I ordered the Salmon Hash..sounded great and initially thought it was until THE HAIR!!!!! There was a strand of HAIR in my FOOD!!!
Holy cow.....I remained calm...told them and they promptly made me another plate of food...
They were friendly overall...but the food wasn't anything I would run around town telling anybody about...with or without the hair...Fried Potatoes were standard ... The salmon mixed in was good...but nothing I don't think I can whip up myself at home with a Cast Iron Skillet. -

A great place to go in the morning after staying up late celebrating the 4th, the night before. American Farmhouse is a bright and airy place with great food and even better service. The first thing we asked for was COFFEE. Needed some octane to get me going.
We ordered:
Smoked Salmon Hash - Had the eggs sunny side up with perfect chunks of smoke salmon
Linguica and eggs - This is one of the Grilled stuff on a plate. Comes with toasted french bread. Solid slices of sausage with scrambled eggs. A very hearty breakfast.
Oak Pit Burger - American Farmhouse grounds their own beef for this burger; it is a combination of Tri-Tip and flank steak. This burger is yummy and can rival any burger at any burger joint.
Tri-Tip Sandwich - Tender sliced Tri-Tip made in American Farmhouse's own oak pit smoker.
French Toast - Loved this french toast. Perfectly toasted on the outside and soft and doughy on the inside.
The servers were friendly and cheerful, just what we needed after the long night. The coffee was fresh and robust and they kept our cups filled.
Next time? I'm gonna try their farmhouse stew.Listed in: Sunny Days in the South Bay

Often our days here at my office are filled with a big question, "Where do you want to go for lunch?" Today was no different. To our rescue my one friend, who lives locally, suggested a little place over on "Goat Hill". Goat Hill is a tiny strip mall fassioned in old American frontier town faccade, complete with wooden "sidwalk".
Farmtown is on the south end of the string of businesses, it can be easy to miss if driving by on Sepulveda. I know that parking can be a bit of a struggle so we often leave early for lunch, today we had front row parking!
I noticed a picture of this place has already been uploaded so check these on esthetics, and the inside is as described in other reviews... Tidy, cozy, and I like the period specific walll hangings that hark back to simpler times.
Red oak wood is what is touted here as the fuel of choice for cooking, my friend who suggested this said that he once drove up north to Santa Maria for a truck load for his own use, once I parused the menu I went with my standard hamburger to benchmark this establishment!
Mt plate arrived full of burger and steak fries (potato fries can also be ordered, cheese and bacon are extra too), I added cheese. Once I fliped the top bun over and went to work on this sizable burg I was rewarded with flavors not overwhelming yet each playing their part in conveying their particular taste. I've never had a burger on ciabatta, my other friend remarked, "Anything with butter in it is good!", I agreed! This burger is not for the weak! It'll stretch your chompers to get a good bite, and then the density of all the components requires a decent amount of chewing... Well, I take big bites! What made it easy to accomplish was the very attentive waitress who never let my glass of ice tea go pass half empty!
There was a small helping of beans that came as a side, they were smokey and had a bit of an oniony bite to them, I liked them but didn't have much room to finish them off, nor the steak fries either which stayed hot, light, and perfectly cooked to the end of my meal! I love steak fries!
Overall, I look forward to returning to Farmtown to try other items on the menu. It was a great suggestion that comes from local knowledge. :o) -

We tried the brand new location in Manhattan Beach. Note, this restaurant was only open less than a full week.
The bartender was very friendly and assisted us with picking out nice food options and explaining the menu. Staff is eager to serve and be helpful. Kitchen needed some work as food took too long to come out and they seemed a bit overwhelmed with our group of six. Food was not HOT. But barely warm enough to eat.
The only negative was the water staff. Is there really a need to refill glasses from has high up as they can reach? They spilled on more than one occasion and none of us needed another shower on the day. Next time I'll say something!
I didn't quite 'get' the pre-meal trio. It's a small container of veggie soup, salsa and beans that you can mix together in your own bowl. What is this?
I ordered the burger and found it actually very difficult to eat using my hands. Too messy and the bun fell apart. That needs work. Another in our group ordered the French Dip sandwich and loved it.
I will go back, but try something else. -

Ahhh Saturday mornings and June Gloom in the South Bay area means going out to breakfast!
We originally were going to the Local Yolk but couldn't find parking. Therefore, we dropped in on the American Farmhouse to try out their breakfast. A friend with us had been there for lunch and dinner and stated it was pretty darn good. Note that this review is solely for their breakfast; I have never been there before.
I ordered the Salmon Scramble. Daring, I know! I really like Salmon, and I recommend this dish. It's very hearty (next time I think I will get it made without the potatoes).
Friend ordered the flapjacks. Not pancakes. These are truly flapjacks. Hearty and meowalicious. Other friend got the breakfast burrito. Normally he wolfs down his food and then starts stealing food from our plates. Today, he only ate half the burrito and had to take the rest home. Did I mention the servings are very generous?
I stared at the plates being served at the table next to us, and man oh man. That slice of ham looked amazing. I almost snatched it off his plate.
The coffee is drinkable, and they serve flavored creamers (including chocolate creamer!) at the table. Our busboy was awesome. He kept our drinks filled and followed up with us numerous times. The waiter was meh. All about that kick ass busboy.
I would totally go again, and look forward to consuming more meat there. Cute old style feel. Just wish they had the Tour de France on the tv instead of the World Cup. ;) -

Had dinner here Friday night -- yum! Keep an eye out as you drive down Sepulveda or you might miss it. But whatever you do, don't judge the restaurant by it's surroundings! When I walked inside I was super surprised -- it was cozy and had a comfortable set of tables, not to mention some of the nicest wait staff I've had the pleasure of interacting with!
Our waitress took a few minutes to explain the menu, the specials on the chalkboard, and bring us our drinks before I gave in and just asked for her recommendation. I'm not sure it really helped - it seemed like she listed nearly everything on the menu. She obviously loves the place she works!
I ended up getting the Linguica Sausage sandwich. It comes with beans and ranch-style potatoes, but I was able to switch to a side salad (still got to taste the potatoes -- great!). We had two bottles of BBQ sauce brought to our table; bottle one was a traditional smokey sauce and bottle two was a mustard sauce. I'd never had a mustard BBQ sauce and thought it was fantastic. The baby spinach and goat cheese salad was great as well. Our drinks were constantly refilled -- I don't think mine was ever empty!
While we were eating the waitress walked past with something for one of the other tables -- she actually stopped to show us what it was! She said it was one of her favorites, although it was on the kids' menu: a grilled Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich (called the Grilled Goober - clever!)
A great meal, a good friend to share it with, and an amazing waitress. What else could I ask for? Oh yea -- they offer free corkage! =) -

American Farmhouse Roadside Grill just opened a couple of weeks ago and they have not had their official Grand Opening yet so the menu and their hours are not set.
I have been a couple times now and both experiences were great.
For breakfast they have grilled flat iron steaks, Portuguese sausage, chicken, ham and bacon as a wrap with eggs and cheese or on a plate with home fried potatoes. They also have steel cut oatmeal, granola parfait and pastries.
Their lunch and "supper" has flat iron steaks, tri-tip sirloin, chicken breasts, salmon and veggies. You can have those items on a sandwich or a plate with a couple sides.
They have some REALLY tasty salads too like the baby spinach, goat cheese, candied pecans and Cabernet vinaigrette salad.
The Big Farmhouse Salads have their assorted grilled items too.
Order at the counter. Call for hours
OH YEAH...I almost forgot! They do not have a liquor license but they encourage you to bring in your own wine and there is NO corkage fee.
I am sure you can bring beer too.
Located in the Western themed strip mall on the East Side of Sepulveda.
[note] Just a reminder that they haven't had their grand opening yet so they are still working out the kinks so be nice yelpers. -
Review from Tom C.
Great little breakfast place. Also nice to see a different style of food for a change - not your regular b-fast diner. Basically pick your meat: I like the turkey patty, then the combination: french toast with eggs are excellent.
Its a small place, less than 10 tables and usually only one or two servers - so on a weekend morning, waiting for a table and service at the table can be lengthy.
I would go back though. Really good food, and something pleasantly different than Ocean Diner, Martha's, and Uncle Bill's. -

Went to this place for the first time a couple weeks ago to meet a friend for lunch. It was empty when we arrived, but soon started to fill with lunch-crowd folks. The waiter was attentive and offered their special soup (no charge) to start the meal. It's a basic soup (chicken or veggie stock, I think), but they serve it with a small bowl of black beans and a small bowl of salsa on the side. You serve yourself the soup from the larger dish then add the options to taste. It was tasty and a nice way to start the meal.
I ordered the salmon mango salad and my friend ordered the turkey burger with avocado. My salmon was grilled to perfection with that wonderful flavor that only grilling (over fire) can provide. The serving was a nice portion and the flavors married well. My friend said the turkey burger was good as well.
Parking was tricky for me. The strip mall in which AFRG is located has some other busy establishments, which means the parking can fill quickly midday. I ended up parking in the back, right next to the wall and when I left there was someone waiting to take the space.
Overall, a good experience and I would visit again. -

Manhattan, NY
I was so shocked at the lack of quality of the food based on all these high reviews. Everything to me was meh. When I went it seemed to have more of a family get together place which I'm sure works for some, but I just wasn't expecting it. Especially since there seemed to be more that a few parties celebrating birthdays in that cramped restaurant. Everything seemed kind of hokey to me and I was expecting more when our food came out. The bbq was bland and there wasn't any sauce to go along with it. Maybe that is the style of bbq that they are going for, but I definitely prefer some sauce with my tri-tip.
One plus, service is fast so you are sure to get out of there quickly. -
Review from Steve V.
This is a place that is more reserved for the side of the freeway in the middle of nowhere. That is a GOOD thing! The interior is quaint and not what you'd expect given the location. On the table was a game that they have at Cracker Barrels, the golf tees in the holes game.
I had the rib-eye steak sandwich and it was great. You could smell the grill still on the meat and it was filling. The service was good and very down to earth. It is a small place with only a few tables so get there before the lunchtime crowd. -

Fight off the hideously small parking lot for this gem consisting of throwback cuisine Americana. Fresh food in a country style layout, the menu is varied and provides great value.
I had a bowl of stuff. Literally rice, chicken, avocado and beans in a bowl. Outstanding. Def has a food network, let do a cooking class vibe. Its also small and cozy.
Better than most options in the area. -

Great, new find in Manhattan Beach. American Farmhouse Roadside Grill is a wonderful change (food to price to portions ratio). I've had the tri-tip three times, the salmon, stew and salad. The food is superb. The service is fast and courteous. The place is bright, clean and the food is served on cool metal trays.
If you're looking for a easy, not hassle place to eat, you gotta try American Farmhouse Roadside Grill. -

I'm glad to see the glowing reviews for this place because it really deserves them. This was just the kind of place that's been sorely lacking in the beach cities...quality food, cozy atmosphere (LOVE the drinks served in glass mason jars), good service and attention to detail.
We went for breakfast. Good strong coffee and tasty, fresh eggs benedict with portuguese sausage. The gals wearing cute denim overalls and bandanas adds a nice touch. Can't wait to try em for lunch/dinner! -

Manhattan Beach, CA
As the girlie and I were heading out to run errands on a recent 70 degree Sunday morning around 10:30, we thought the usual beachside haunts would be a mob scene so we flashed on ARG... We'd been there before so we knew we liked the food and, as it's a bit off the coast, figured it for less of a crowd. Well, we were right on those two counts at least. Walked-up just as a group was leaving and got our choice of seats on the porch.
First came the... beverage selection... perhaps a cappuccino? A reasonable request you say for an eatery offering $11.00 - $15.00 breakfast items in Manhattan Beach? Not so fast. The high school aged waitress who cared to show little ownership of the experience, informed us that such was no longer an option as, "the machine's plug didn't fit into the wall". Whuk?! So coffee it was. Bad idea. Inexcusably bland, as if ours was the second pot made using those grinds.
In the meantime, our order was placed... and the wait was on. I honestly can't remember the last time I left a seating... but 35 minutes on, after two apologetic updates on the delay from our young charge... in a half full restaurant... it was, dare I say it, time to pull the plug. I was literally on my feet walking-in to deliver the sad news when I was greeted at the doorway with our plates.
The food, I had the skillet with Polish Sausage, was right where I remembered it last time, excellent.
After politely mentioning our chagrin over the wait and the brew, our drinks were comped. we tipped 20% and politely asked to give our feedback to the owner... we were told he had just left.
So there you have it. Better than average eats... you pay for, hampered by poor execution and served by a nice but amateurish wait staff and just BAD coffee. Don't get me wrong, I want this place to succeed... so far it's a mixed bag. -

Wow, this place is great. I had the Grill Santa Maria Style Tri-Tip Sandwich (http://www.yelp.com/bi...) from the Oak Pit. The beef tri-tip sirloin was perfectly grilled and the Santa Maria salsa flavored the sandwich perfectly. The side of home fries was also absolutely delicious.
My friend had the Rib-Eye Steak Sandwich (http://www.yelp.com/bi...) and can't wait to go back and have it again. -

Breakfast was amazing! I can tell a lot about a restaurant by their potatoes and theirs are up there with the best I've had. I love when you don't have to pay extra for all the "extras". They seem to know how food should be served and give it to you that way the first time, already including fresh asparagus & avocado in their omelettes. We will definitely be back!

I went here, the first time, based on the great reviews of Yelpers. I had the "Bowl of Stuff." Fantastic meal... hearty and on the healthy side for a guy who doesn't always put the best food in his body. My girlfriend got the avocado and mango salad. It's not up my alley, but she enjoyed it.
We went back today for lunch to run it back. I had the ribeye steak sandwich and that's the reason I signed up for Yelp today. I've been looking for a steak sandwich that's good for the three years I've lived in Manhattan Beach. FOUND IT! My girlfriend got the tri tip sandwich and enjoyed it, but I had a bite and the rib eye sandwich blew the doors off it. I ordered it medium rare.
Nice waitstaff and southern style glass jars instead of traditional cups enhance the experience. The waitress let me switch up the home fried potatoes and beans for a salad... Always nice.
If you're into steak sandwiches, I advise you to give the ribeye sandwich a shot. -

Yee-ha city slickers. This is a cute spin on a country kitchen. A new breakfast spot for me! I felt like I was in a small mountain town eating here and the pace was slow and relaxed. The inside is quaint, comfortable and cozy. The service is wonderful and they bring your OJ to you in a Mason jar. I ordered the skillet with portuguese sausage, yum! Ben had a filet and over easy eggs. The dinner menu looked wonderful and they reccomended making a reservation on the weekends. Will be coming back for date night! A great spot to head to on a lazy morning!

The food is good.
The prices are a bit high for what you get.
The parking lot sucks.
The service is not very good - which is the main reason i gave it 2 stars. Although the sign says open at 8am on tuesdays, that turned out to be untrue. We waited 20 minutes or so, only to have someone inside gesture that they weren't open until 9. She couldn't even open the door and tell us... It seems strange to even be open for breakfast if you don't serve it until 9am on a weekday. I don't know many people who go out to breakfast after 9am if they have a real job... -

this location has notoriously changed many times over the years...for locals, you might remember the ice house about 12 years ago. hopefully this one will actually make it. but i digress.
went there for dinner and upon arrival, the place had a time warp feel to it and i suddenly felt like i was in kansas. (and i even felt this before they were playing "over the rainbow" in the background.) ambiance is casual and kinda qichey (sp?) but not TOO cheesy.
the first thing that i noticed when looking at their menu is that they have very reasonable prices. i don't think there was anything above 11 dollars. you pick your meat from a list of choices (flat-iron steak, tri-tip, chicken, salmon, or veggies) and then you pick if you want it on a sandwich ($10) or on a plate ($11). this comes with some sides and you get to pick one of three salads, which comes with it as well!
i asked for a suggestion and the server strongly suggested the oak pit burger. it didn't take much convincing and it was a solid choice. from how they described it she said it was their blend of tri-tip and steak. this gave me the impression that they grind their own meat? but don't hold me to that. the burger was a tender and came on a ciabatta bun, which i liked. didn't come with a salad but did come with a side of home fried potatoes which was kinda breakfasty but had a home made feel.
i got to try a bite of one of the specials, the portuguese sandwich, which was good as well but i liked the burger more.
looking forward to their breakfast which had reasonable prices as well... it seems that they keep their menu small and simple which seems to translate into good solid cooking. if you're looking for a place for unpretentious dining for a good price, this is the place to go! -

Clean utensils, fresh ambiance, friendly owner and service, great food. The owner gave us a brief tour in the back because we were curious to see what he was doing there to get his bbq so good. He was very nice to show us. I loved the presentation of the food. I ordered the skirt steak and although it didn't come with a bbq sauce, i asked for it. It was to die for! It was perfect. I am not a big bbq person but this sauce was right on, not too sweet or vinegar-y.. I am glad it's not too far from me because i plan on going back!

Can I diss one restaurant and praise another in the same review? You betcha.
After an unexpected long day at work, I was hungry and tired. Tin Roof popped in my mind, I'd never been there. A friend said their steak frites was awesome. On the drive there my wife and I discussed the name of this establishment. I stated that the roof was actually terracotta tiled. But my wife said "no, the roof is tin". I've driven by this place, and seen the roof... it's f*#kin tiled. "Well whatever, I'm just looking forward to a nice, quiet meal", I said. "It's kinda noisy there because of the tin roof", she said. Then I understood. The CEILING must be tin, or some faux tin as I later observed. I'm curious as to why they don't call the place Tin Ceiling. Long story longer... when one of the servers politely opened the door for us we walked through to find a bar filled with patrons that resembled those found at Michi, or Mucho, or whatever it's called now. There was a 30 minute wait. We walked outside, my wife suggested Farmhouse. We called, no wait... we were on our way.
Walking in, my olfactory receptors were knocked for a loop. I was transported to a magical place, out on a ranch nestled amongst the rolling hills and twisted oaks of California's central coast. A familiar old tune crooned above me as we were greeted and led to a table covered in a blue checked cloth. The ladder back chairs from ikea were softened with seat cushions and we settled in. At a quick glance, something about 'not being a chain' caught our eyes on the menu (we tend to stay away from most chains). We were stoked already.
We each ordered the supper. I chose tri-tip, the wife had the filet(S). That's right, two filets came on her plate. First though, our suppers included stewed veggies, salsa, and baked - they called them trail camp - beans (from scratch my wife confirmed) that the server suggested we mix altogether. We did and it was scrumptious. Our salads came next each adorned with a dark red beet. The balsamic dressing was a little sweet for my taste, but overall it was a good crisp salad. The mains came next. Grilled, grilled, grilled, well except my awesome ranch fried potatoes. Three decent sized pieces of tri-tip layed across my plate. I dug in and the aroma matched the flavor on my palate. I will say though, the meat was a bit gristle-y. The flavor overrode this fact. And the grilled bread with just the right amount of butter was a clincher. We finished up with root beer floats. All this (oh I had an iced tea) for $34.
The rest of the menu looks killer, especially the breakfast. Did I mention they DELIVER!?!
My wife said she felt like doing a victory dance afterward. She didn't, but I can only imagine...
One reason this place doesn't get 5 stars: they have a flat screen tv. What is the deal with almost every restaurant in the South Bay having tv's? If I want to go to a sports bar I'll go to a sports bar. Well, the wife got a little annoyed with me and our waning conversation, because I was drawn to the winter olympic recap playing on the HD screen. I gotta blame something, right?
We are so happy about this place being in our hood. Go check it out! -

I LOVE this place! Being that I spent 8 years in San Luis Obispo, and I miss it so much, I love going here just to get a taste of "home". There's nothing else like it here in the South Bay! They need a bigger place!

I have been here for breakfast on two occassions. The first time I got the breakfast sandwich with bacon. It was alright. However, I tried my bf's breakfast plate w/ the ham steak and it was fantastic. Yesterday, we went back and I got the breakfast wrap with ham steak. It was fantastic and huge! I could only eat half of it and the rest I had for lunch today. A great value at $8 and it came with potatoes. My daughter had the side order of french toast which was very good! My bf raves about their coffee. Great value and super friendly!

Saw this place on Yelp and thought we'de give it a try. We went for breakfast on Saturday morning and were glad we did. Both my wife and I got a "skillet" which is something grilled (chicken, flank steak, sausage), an egg, some potatoes and a few other things all mixed in. For the price ($6.95) I thought the quality and quantity of the food was very good.

We went here in a large group for brunch on a Sunday. It was empty when we arrived & thought that wasn't a good sign. The menu is a little limited, but the food was pretty good. The service was a bit slow & they messed up an order (which they took off the menu). Overall, it was just OK.
