This is one of the best gyms I have been too. Temple Unviesity, Planet Fitness The Shac all cant amount up to the equipment and weight at this gym.
As for the price its one the best you will come across any where. But, for the people I have heard a lot of complaints about the service outside of the gym as for its members. But, this is something I never have really encountered personally because it was always business when i walked in there and not social time. But, I will say there is a solid community of hard lifters in the gym. -

I was at American Family Fitness once while I visited some friends in town, but once was one time too many. They were rude at the beginning to me as a visitor. The gym was filthy, with the locker rooms being worse. Ray, the manager, also terminated my friend's membership and threatened him with trespass, merely because he videotaped some amateur fitness instruction videos (even though the membership contract clearly says nothing about prohibiting it.) They didn't even talk to him like an adult. AFF will not get my business if I move to the Vestal/Binghamton area, and they will lose the memberships of eight of my friends who go there too. We went to Court Jester Fitness tonight, and they are much more professional and have much better facilities...well worth the extra money.
