Just came back on a trip to NZ last week (unfortunately no NZ on yelp yet, so I cant write of all the amazing places there), but had a lot of NZ dollars leftover that needed to be exchanged back to US dollars.
Came here on a Saturday (which is great that it's even open in the first place), and we got our money exchanged right away. It's really good rates too. If the exchange is under $650, and you have an AmEx card, it costs you $5 to exchange. For over $650, it's 1%. If you don't have an AmEx card and the exchange is over $650, then it costs $7, or 1% if it's over that amount.
Easy as pie, and now I've got a lot of cash on me. Casinos anyone? -

Miserable service from a miserable person at the currency exchange counter. I waited there 10 minutes before she even showed up at her station (and then didn't get anything remotely approaching a "sorry for keeping you waiting"). Then she refused to exchange me Canadian dollars because I was going to Cuba (legally) due to some company policy. It's a frustrating enough policy, even if there is a shred of core logic behind it, but she seemed to actually enjoy the enforcement of it. Life is too short to deal with people who revel in flexing power in their limited domains. Don't bother coming here.

When you need Am. Express traveler's checks, this is the place. Convenient location, fast business service, and the personnel are very knowledgeable about currency exchange. If you are a business traveler in need of assistance, this is the place to go. They also have an old fashion travel agency, but I did not use this service.

terrible service. always unprepared. i have gone to them 3 times for currency exchanges. twice, they could not do it in time even though I called a month in advance each time. the third time, I called 2 weeks in advance and their "system was down" indefinitely. i think all they can handle is basic services and nothing more complicated than a family vacation to Hawaii.
