This is a great vet clinic. The staff has been willing to work us in at the last minute on a Saturday. They've taken great care of our three cats. When our oldest cat needed his teeth cleaned, they did everything they could to get the cost down. He recovered so quickly. Oh and there's a discount if you get your pet's teeth cleaned in Feb. or March.

When I took the kitten in to get neutered they ohhhed and awwed over him, giving him lots of attention. Of course he is a beautiful Maine Coon (and over 11lbs at 6 months) but I may be biased. then I got a call from the office explaining that he had something called "vampire teeth" that were blocking his adult teeth so they needed to be pulled. I appreciated that they did a full exam including his teeth before doing a simple procedure. He came home early in the afternoon with no sutures and no problems. Well, we couldn't get the plastic collar on him but he didn't need it.

I've moved to San Francisco taking the kitten with me and leaving the the two adults with my roommate in Vallejo. I still bring my kitten up to see Dr. Singh. It's worth the trip. He and his staff are always willing to take the time to answer any questions you might have.

We are very disappointed with the doctor, he came in looked at my pet, ask one question and he was gone.
    Writing the estimate took longer.
We were actually shocked that this was so brief and superficial, not even looking closely at the infected part.
This strange behavior  prompted us to look into it our selfs more closely to discover the nature of the problem and actually remedy the infection and save our budget of a $400 to $500 loss.
Again we are very disappointed and warn every one to closely inspect your pet before going to the vet.

What a great place to take your pets to.  The staff is very friendly, and Dr. Singh is great with animals!  He was able to diagnose my dog with a autoimmune disease and although I was stressed out about not knowing about it (she was a rescue dog who looked perfectly normal) he was able to calm me and even stook up for the rescue group I got her from and tell me everything would be ok.  We ended up taking the  less intrusive route with shots and medications  and now she seems to be doing a lot better and titrating her off her meds. My previous vet would have a notepad and tell you what everything would cost, but I love how he discusses everything openly with you first and then has one of the staff come to you afterward to discuss the costs with you and see where you want to go.  Very clean and caring vet office.

I have been here multiple times, for 3 different cats.  Dr Singh has a very friendly cat-side manner and knowledgeable/thorough manner with the humans.  One of my cats, who is usually reserved around strangers and often will avoid visitors at our home, really loved him, and couldn't get enough attention from Dr. Singh.

    I love the office number  ... K-9 !

My husband and my 4 cats and I just moved to American Canyon and I was a little bit nervous about having to find a new vet. When my cat got in a fight and had a big bite mark on his head, I decided to try this one because it is right down the street. I was not disappointed.

    Pros:
    -Very clean, inviting waiting area
-Very friendly staff, and they fit us in at the end of the day even though I called late
    - The vet, Dr. Singh, was very friendly and thorough, and I felt very confident having him take care of my cat.

    Cons:
    -None so far.

With 4 cats, including a diabetic who is constantly trying to steal bread, I have been to a lot of vets. The prices were on par with other reputable vets that I've been to, maybe a little bit less expensive. I'm very excited to have found this place!

    When you first get inside:
This place is wonderful! When you walk in they remember who you are and it is very clean and organized. When I come in the wait is never long.

    Staff:
Doctor Singh is very knowledgeable and loves animals. The ladies are also very sweet to our puppy whenever they have to take him in the back for his shots.

    Great deals:
Did I mention their packages?! They have a kitty package which I do not know much about and they have a puppyhood package. It is $260 comes with free physical exams, one free frontline plus, one free heartgard plus, 20% off spay or neuter, nail trimming, 2 fecal tests, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, and I may have forgotten a few things. It lasts until they are 5 months old so take advantage!!!
They also have deals on frontline plus and heartgard plus.
And your very first visit is complimentary!

I'm sure if you come here you will not be disappointed (:

I think I've found Cooper his forever doctor.
Staff, especially jesse(sp) are extremely friendly to patients, as well as their patients people.
Dr. Singh you can tell is good with animals. Took my 4 mos pup in for vaccinations and check up just to make sure he was A-okay when we brought him home.

Location is great! clean facility, well maintained and new.
Prices are more reasonable than previous vet, w/ good service, so I am very satisfied.

I have been a life long resident of American Canyon and before ACVH opened we always went into Vallejo with out pets for veterinary services.  Dr. Singh, Jessie and Heather are a wonderful staff that are very passionate about their work.  I love when I come in everyone is friendly knows me and my animals.  I take my puppy (they have an amazing lump sum puppy package that covers all visits and shots up to age 5 months), shop dogs and my mom's cat here.  Dr. Singh take his time to fully explain everything both medically and in laminates terms to you so you feel comfortable with what is being done.  The facility is always neat and clean...I never feel over charged...I can just go on and on...A wonderful addition to American Canyon.

We bought our two kitties in this evening after one showed signs of having a tapeworm. Dr Singh is kind and thorough and quickly put us at ease. This was their first visit to the vet, so it was nice to have such a pleasant experience. Our kitties were curious and not stressed at all, and just crawled and jumped around the exam room. The exams, treatment, as well as 3 months (for 2 cats) flea medication were very reasonable priced (about half of what we thought it would cost). We are very happy with American Canyon Veterinary Hospital, and will definitely be back for regular checkups.

After a freak roadrash accident on my dog, Dr Singh performed surgery on his paw and put a splint on the other arm. After a few months, my dog healed 100% like nothing had happened. I highly recommend this place!

Awesome!!  After losing my 17 year old cat last year to cancer I was able to try out several local vets in the area attempting to save my cat.   It was a horrible experience and I never found a vet that I felt comfortable with. Well I found 1 in Pacifica but it is much too far of a drive. My 8 year old cat recently had a horrific cough so I decided to make the trip out to American Canyon from Benicia to give Dr. Singh a try.   I liked him immediately and felt confident he was the vet for us.   A week later our cat became fatally ill and Dr. Singh took no time to diagnose the situation and begin saving our cats life.  For the past 5 days he has worked incredibly long hours( we drop our cat off at 8 a.m. and pick him up at 6pm) and calls the emergency hospital at 10pm at night to check on our cats care.  The emergency hospital also let us know that Dr. Singh had made our cats care very easy on them with his exceptional work placing tubes in lungs etc.  They were not used to seeing work this good according to  the E.R.  We strongly feel we would not have our cat right now if it were not for the extreme care of Dr. Singh.
