4 reviews for American Airlines Admirals Club
Got stuck here while trying to get to New York.
Loved the circular bar, hated that it seemed everyone was in a similar situation so all the seats were taken.
They had a large screen TV so i sat on the floor and tried to take a quick nap. Good thing the floors are clean.
Again, complimentary nuts and coffee and soda. They also had some fruit.
I think that they should have small plates for people instead of buying the tired airport food.

Frequent flyers will rejoice in learning that improvements are underway at this Admirals Club. New furnishings are now in place, and the renovated bar is up and running (imagine having a drink with George Jetson and Mr. Sprocket, and you'll understand). They're working hard on the showers, but it will go up from 2 shower rooms to 7, so hopeful the long waiting lists will be a thing of the past.
Otherwise, this is one of my more favorite clubs for planespotting, as it overlooks the tarmac between the the H and K Concourses as well as one of the runways, so there's a lot of aircraft movement.
Plenty of space to spread out, lots of cubicles, cubbys, nooks, and corners to hide from others. The snacks are ok... no finger sandwiches (a la LAX) or bagels (a la LGA), but the veggie stick plate does come out in the evening.
Finally, the staffers are on the whole very helpful, though there may be one or two would could use a refresher course in customer service.
I can't wait to see the club when the renovations are completed.
Note: Yes, of course soft drinks are free, as is WiFi if you're a member.
I have to agree with Miguel R. as I sit here at the O'Hare Admiral's Club on a rainy Friday just wanting desperately to get home to Phoenix.
The furniture is worn, the carpet is stained and the club in general has seen it's better days, but luckily they're in the midst of remodeling it.
Unfortunately I wasn' t lucky enough to get upgraded on the flight I was standing by for so I decided to wait for my original flight where I already have a first class seat. Getting home two hours later is worth not having to sit in the middle in coach. But I digress.
If you fly American regularly it's worth it to have an Admiral's Club membership.

I'm here again...and just found out the sodas are free!!! Not good enough for five stars, but I'll add another one anyway.
