Mu.
I think that's how you supposed to spell a very nice man who happened to own Americab and also who happened to be our shuttle driver to and from the airport.
We had to be at the airport by 5:30 for our 7:30 flight. Mu picked us up at 5 am. I like his driving style which was careful, not a crazy speedy driver, and quiet. Don't get me wrong, I love conversations and chit chats, but I wasn't up to do it at 5 in the morning. So, Mu was a perfect driver for us.
He picked us up on time at the airport as well when we landed back in PDX at 11 pm. He took us home safely and again just had a polite chit chat without overdoing it.
The car was clean, the price was right. $35 flat fee from SW Portland to PDX. It doesn't matter if there's one of you or two of you. It will be the same price. So if you need a reliable and affordable airport shuttle, give Americab a call. I will for sure use Mu's services again. -

Based on other reviews on Yelp I just called Americab to get a rate from inner SE Portland (39th and Division) to the airport. The person I spoke with said it would be $45 each way (the same price as a ride from Aloha or Tigard which are both much further away, according to their website) for the first person, plus an additional $5 for another person. The website says that the price is a flat rate for any members of the party, not that there's an additional per person price. Something doesn't add up here -- I won't be using this company.

We were looking for a reasonably priced trip to the aiport from Beaverton and saw an americab van in traffic. The price was right - $35 to the airport for the two of us, and $45 for the trip back (all exactly as advertised.) The driver was early and waiting for us on both ends. Great service - prompt and considerate.
