Review from Nicola B.

My soon to be Mother and Father in-law took me to Amelia's Tea & Holly for my birthday. I'm so happy there's a nice little tea room so close by! My fiancé and I used to travel to Cape May to Twinings' Tea Room for this sort of experience, but Amelia's is a place we can visit a bit more often.
The tea room is in a nice Victorian off Main Street in Mullica Hill, NJ. Upon entering, there is a little shop selling all things tea. Lots of ceramics, tea packs, and decorations are available for purchase.
Past the shop is the restaurant which is decorated to the hilt with old pictures, vintage clothing, hats of all sorts on the walls, and trinkets galore! The table settings were all unique -- no two items were the same. We all enjoyed the Queen's Tea which includes your choice of tea, assorted tea sandwiches, a scone, quiche, fruit, soup, and lots of sweets. During our visit, the soup was a tomato bisque which was delicious and rich with flavor. This was my favorite part of the meal. The sandwiches were all very good as well. There were so many sweets! I packed them up in a to go box because there was no way I could (or should) have eaten them all! My fiancé will enjoy those later tonight, I'm sure!
The service was good although side plates, clotted cream and jam were forgotten when our food was presented. The server was close by so it wasn't long before we got her attention and she returned with the forgotten items.
I had a lovely time and will definitely be returning. Great for that tea room experience. I recommend it.
