After I visited the store for the first time, I was impressed by the friendly customer service. Can't wait to go back to search for more treasures.

I brought items here, hoping to resell some clothing all of good quality and in good condition, , but there is a catch to leaving items here.  It totally states not responsible for lost or stolen items...... Well after waiting for 60 plus days I came into pickup items that did not sell and they were not found, I was told I would get a call when  they were found...  I never got a call .  You are better off selling  your own stuff  on Ebay or have a garage sale or do what a friend did and have a Ladies night and invite your friends over for cocktails and swap youre good named brand precious clothing,  instead of waiting for ever and having your items stolen or lost  in the bermuda triangle. I am Not a fan of this store!  .

Had a fun time shopping here.  Karen, the owner and the rest of the staff are as friendly and helpful as can be.  The store is nicely laid out without that "overly" stuffed feeling that alot of consignment stores have.  There's new things throughout the store.  My only negative comment is that in my opinion, some of the things were TOO worn to be in the store, however, there were plenty of good items too to peruse through.  Would definitely come back.

First I should start by saying I have gone to Amelia's Antics twice in one week, the first was more like a check-it-out but bought the Kidlet a Pound Puppy :)

Today, I went back with a friend and our TWO daughter's (both 3). We figured we could tag team, and trade off. I have to say I was so impressed that the Staff (and Owner, Karen) were not snotty, annoyed and even laughed at our Girls playing hide-n-seek in the dressing rooms. While I DO NOT advise bringing a broad with you to shop in there, it says alot about a boutique that didn't make us feel like asses for shopping with our children.

The items she takes in are more high-end than I thought - many fancy dresses! She has a nice selection and after combing thru I found a pair of 7 for all mankind jeans for $47. Nice deal.

I wound up spending so much more than I expected but I love supporting local business woman, and getting jeans, a necklace for myself and earrings for Mom for the amount makes it ok.

I plan to go back and cosign a Coach purse & wallet - so go and buy it :D

My mom and I walked in yesterday just to browse. We ended up leaving with not only one dress for a pageant I'm going to be in at the end of the month that I absolutely fell in love with, but a prom dress for next year! The selection of not just dresses, but other clothing items, shoes, and jewelry at this store is incredible and the ladies who work there couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. I will definitely be returning to Amelia's Antics very soon!

LOVE this special boutique!  Just what downtown Millbrae needs!  It is truly a pleasure to shop and browse the inventory here.  Karen hand selects every item that is sold and she's got quite an eye for fashion trends (she sews and makes clothing herself she once told me) so she carefully inspects all fabric, seams, etc on all garments.  Her trendy, upscale boutique is always changing, so every week you will find something new, whether a  ball gown, costume BLING, purses,  GREAT shoe selection,  hats, scarfs, local artisan soaps, and sachets, even fun trinkets gift items!  If you need something unique for yourself or a gift, Karen's Amelia's Antics is the place to try.  It's such a fun atmosphere too, her staff is truly delightful and NOT pressuring!  Patronize your local, independent business - they need help more than ever now!

What a honey-butter experience! The easiest hour and a half I've ever spent in a clothing store, bar none, is a credit to the incomparable, hospitable, good natured proprietor, Karen. Clearly she has bigger ideas of her and her store than meeting cash-register quotas. In my line of work, it's a fresh breath of whatever lovely incense she's burning in there.

Recommended to all women looking to look good for cheap -- that's women who aren't insane.

Amelia's Antics is as good for shopping as it is selling.  Thanks to Karen, I am able to keep a "rotating closet" at home.   I don't feel guilty buying something new when I know that I can wear it a few times and then sell it.   This is the cleanest, most tastefully arranged consignment store that you will ever find.  Plus you don't get the attitude that you find with some of the downtown stores, nothing but good, friendly service here.  I highly recommend checking them out!

A "must visit" in downtown Millbrae!  First of all, if you are making a weekend of "treasure hunting" this place is a must!  This is a consignment store with new and old.  Tons of designer brands at very reasonable prices!!  And let's not forget to mention the accessories.  You'll find hand-crafted, unique necklaces and earrings.  I visit the store about 3 times a month and every time I go, I find something to take home.  I recently bought a pair of practically new boots that were a total steal!

The store smells like a field of lavender when you walk in as they sell dried lavender sachets and soaps.

Oh and.... about once a month they have a "Trunk Show" where several vendors get together to feature their goods.  I just went to a holiday show there and I bought a wreath, a Swarovski crystal bracelet and a shirt.  Not to mention they had a chocolate fountain and other yummy desserts to munch-on as I shopped.  It was a girl's paradise!!!  I highly recommend that you check out Amelia's Antics!

Amelia's Antics is a warm, fun, cheery place to shop.  Karen the owner is always so welcoming and she even will serve you Tea!  Aunt Molly makes the place glow with love.  The clothing is all freshly laundered and gently worn or she doesn't take them in for consignment. Most people don't even know its a consignment store as it's so nicely, tastefully decorated and racks aren't jammed packed and everything is so pretty. She also sells jewelry, new & used and has a consignment Art Gallery as well in the back! She has alot of designer labels and high end fashion. No Target or Old Navy clothes.  I always leave the place purchasing something!!! She has all sizes - from Petites to Larger Women sizes, shoes, handbags, scarves.  You will love exploring her "home away from home"

This shop is wonderful.  The ladies there are so pleasant.  The prices are very reasonable.  I am going to see if I can set up an appointment to consign some of my items.  I will post you later to let you know how that went.

Another great shopping day at Amelia's Antics! There are fabulous finds to be discovered here! I am so please with my new designer jeans for only $10, a great top for $6, a cool piece of jewelry for $19, and an awesome Channel pair of sunglasses (a deal for these, but a splurge for me). Be careful of the zealous meter maid, he got me today (20 minutes over the hour allotment) and $43 for a parking ticket hurts! Ouch!

Amelia's Antics is by far the cleanest and most pleasant consignment store I've ever been to. The owner only intakes clean and high quality clothing from well-known designers. The service is wonderful and I felt very welcome at the store...and of course the prices were very kind to my wallet. The store also has great accessories such as jewelry, scarves, handbags and shoes. Their trunk shows are always fun and have enough variety to satisfy the cravings of any shopaholic!

Finally a consignment store that doesn't smell musty like an old shoe or attic.  it's bright and cheerful, and I think it is what a shopping experience should be.  You can browse around the thoughtfully arranged groupings of clothes, boots/shoes, accessories and the owner and her aunt will warmly advise or politely give you space to shop.  I was thrilled to pick up work shoes (Cole Hahn with nary a scratch) and make it a point to stroll in once a month.  the best part is the diverse, yet well made, inventory from designer wear like St. John or Armani, to simple daily war.

I hate to be the dissenting voice for all these great reviews, but let me just explain....I really really wanted Amelia's Antics to do well, I think this area could use some great women's apparel retail and the concept of a consignment store here is fantastic, i.e., affordable, unique, not really trying to be like Burlingame ave., etc. And yes, Karen and Molly are genuinely super sweet, so stars to that and the shop being really well-kept. (Minus a star to the salesperson who proudly (snobbily) proclaimed that she has never owned a pair of jeans in her life, but that she sees "other people" wearing them, mmkay, different strokes whatever.) However, as far as consignment stores, it misses the mark for me. I feel like the point of a thrift/consignment store is to find a fantastic, pristine vintage find or score an incredible deal ala Goodwill/SA, for women of any age. And.....I have never found neither of those or anything appealing, particularly for some of the prices (they had a few of those stretchy tops that look like crinkly gift tissue paper). I've looked through every category of their offerings, from handbags (knockoff dior...so you don't sell old navy but counterfeits are OK?)  to jewelry (lots of choker-length necklaces with that black satin cord). Now, I've given this shop many chances; I have visited about 5-6 times before posting this review because I wanted to give it a fair shot, and because Karen and Molly really are fantastic. I did consign a few of my items here, all of which sold, which makes me think that I have taste that other people like also, and that was close to when the shop first opened up. So to sum it up: great owners, clean store, questionable buying taste. Grain of salt thought: maybe it just isn't my style.
