The two reasons I come to this park are mountain bike trails and disc golf course.
I have been disc golfing here for several years now and really enjoy this course. It has a good mix of in the woods holes and some wide open ones to air out your drives. Also some interesting tee and basket positions. All tees are fairly well marked and/or the paths are well indicated. There are a good amount of holes with water hazard potential but this just makes it more interesting. This is one of only a few disc golf courses here in Southeast FL. A great way to spend a couple hours outdoors.
As for the MTB trails, I last rode here more than 10 years ago and at that time the trails were okay at best. They were just paths cut through the brush with no real thought . Just trails to peddle on. Now I can gladly say these MTB trails are among the best in South Florida. They are well thought out with a good mix of technicality and speed. Just enough to keep the interest of advanced riders but not so much as to scare away beginners. Even the most technical climbs and drops are groomed and maintained in such a manner that you feel confident in trying them instead of fearing possible death as is common at other parks. I look forward to riding here many more times and am sure I will become a frequent visitor. I have already made plans to bring several friends back. I will also bring my kids here to learn the sport of MTB riding. Great trails for all levels. Hope to see you here. Cheers.

Great park for mountain biking! It's so good that it gets me to schlep from Fort Lauderdale all the way down to Hialeah super early in the morning just to go for a ride.

They've got a good mix of easy and technical trails that are suitable for different skill levels. I ride with a mixed group (from novice riders to experts) and everyone finds something to challenge themselves without seriously injuring themselves (*knock on wood*).

Ps.  You have to drive your car down a dirt road to get to the trail head.  I don't think there is a sign for it and it looks like a service road. I made a few loops around the park before I figured that one out. Oops.

    Bike trails= A for awesome.

I had no idea they were that extensive in such a short space. Helmets are required and people are pissy about it; bring one if you're coming, or get kicked out several times for not having one, like I did.

I love me some Amelia! There is so much to do. I have so many memories here. I learned how to drive here and I frequent the park to work out. I always lose a pound or two after walking the entire park.

I love everything from the mini farm to the mini hills that I used to run up and roll back down as a kid. It's got a great bike path and several shelters for family gatherings.

This is my go to park since I live near by.  I have been here a countless amount of times for parties, canoeing, bike riding, horse back riding and recently the dog park.  This place has it all.

The dog park is easily the best one I have seen down here in South Florida. It's huge with separate section for big and small dogs. The obstacles are cool just in case you want to start training your dog for one of those competitions on TV.

This place has a farm!!! The petting zoo is pretty darn cool and city slickers love to get up close to all the farm animals.

They have plenty of those party shelters with the bbq built in which is great for birthday parties.

Mountain bike trails = not easy but fun

The new soccer complex they built on the west side of the park is like a futbol mecca for North Dade

A great park all the way around

This is an oasis of open space in a very congested area of town. It features the usual array of picnic tables, pavillions, swales, bike rentals, paddle boat rentals, dog park. I come for the mountain bike trails at the north end of the park.

Always crowded on the weekends, it's a big enough piece of land that it never feels as crowded as it is. There will be a huge line of cars waiting to pay, but once you get in, there's plenty of room to spread out.

The mountain bike trails are great for introducing someone to the sport, or for doing a quick loop or two. These trails are less difficult than the trails at Oleta or Markham - it's mostly smooth singletrack riding through tunnels of deadfall and underbrush, with small technical sections and minor hills interspersed throughout. If you've never done this before, however, those "minor hills" will give you quite a workout. The group in charge of this trail has also added a small expert section called "Little Razorback," referring to the well-known Razorback Trail outside of Ocala, FL. This section features some tall, steep whoop-de-doos and difficult ridge riding. I just rode this section of trail for the first time today, and it definitely made me feel a little queasy and light in the loafers.

It's the "easiest" mountain bike trail in South Florida. That said, it still offers a challenge. It's suitable for those new to the great sport of mountain biking, but be careful, and do wear a helmet.

    This is a great park!

It's huge, has cute little bridges to cross, lakes, bike trails, nice green-age, and lots of fun areas for kids and parties.

At $6.00 a car -- totally worth it! Don't forget to bring your furry friend! They will have some funnnnn times running around this place.

I went to a company picnic here last weekend and was so very pleasantly surprised.  It's a big place with lots of pavillions for parties available and great nature trails for hiking and biking. Also they have a small lake with kayaks and baddle boats avaiable - highly recommend this park on a gorgeous day and I hear they have a great dog park area too.  Take out a boat!

This park is huge, I basically visit it because of their dog park and the mountain bike trails.  The dog park is not bad but it is more like a strip instead of a huge space where you can just watch your pooch run around, as for the mountain bike trail, lets say well need to erase the mountain word of that and you will understand, although that almost the same thing at Florida....flaaat....
