Big theater complex with comfy stadium seating, clean bathrooms, great sound, and lots of parking.
Another big selling point: Cold Stone is right next door...perfect for the after-movie-treat! -

As far as movie theaters go AMC Veterans is as good as it gets.
It has a nice big parking lot, employees that must like their jobs because they are always smiling and helpful. The seats are comfy and the theater and bathrooms are very clean.
Like all movie houses bring your wallet if you want goodies but at least their popcorn is darn tasty.
It's also in a great location near restaurants and a Starbucks.
Enjoy! -

If you are seeing IMAX 3D movie ASK FIRST AND MAKE SURE it is working properly BEFORE you purchase a ticket. We just paid $28 for 2 tickets and the entire movie (John Carter) had a definite split right down center of screen and it was colored blue on left and white on right for entire movie. I have NEVER seen this before at a theater. It really made the movie difficult to watch. We complained 3 times and the mgr just kept saying they would fix it but they didn't. They gave all 20 patrons free passes to future movie but excludes IMAX and 3D. I am sure they'll just keep showing it ... So ask beforehand. It is just not right to charge that much for a ticket and get subpar quality. The movie itself was interesting but AMC should have refunded ticket cost.

This AMC theater is huge. With the volume of people that come here, the operation is. Worked very efficiently. Our line for tickets, refreshments etc were smooth sailing. The bathroom is huge as well. Everything is kept clean, and they serve Chicago style pizza. That's a great surprise. The seats in the theater were a good comfy size. It was a great experience!
There's a goo amount of restaurants in the area as well and right off the expressway. -

Tampa, FL
Great theater, great location. Excellent pre- and post-movie eateries within walking distance including Cold-Stone Creamery, Starbucks, and Green Iguana - all good. Very professional staff, especially handling large events like Harry Potter movie openings, etc. Stadium seating, IMAX theater, 3D movies, good concessions.
If you are a frequent moviegoer, buy the new AMC Stubs loyalty card. It gets you a free size upgrade on drinks and popcorn! It's worth it. You also don't have to pay service fees when you buy tickets online. At this theater, you must pick up your tickets at the theater when you purchase online; you can't print them out at home. That's a bummer, but it's not a dealbreaker. Overall great movie theater! -

Ok so its a theater and they show movies. It is huge and clean and they have a lot of show times which makes life a lithe easier. There are a lot of restaurants around like Bostons and the Green Iguana so it gives something to do before or after the movie. My only issue is that there always seems to be very large groups of unruly teenagers making trouble outside which can make for an interesting gauntlet when first entering the movie theater but other than that you can actually go to the box office or the kiosk to get tickets and if you are even more savvy then you can actually get them only before hand but I am just saying that if you are savvy.

I agree with Carlos.
Never had a bad experience here, and that is all you can ask for right?
I mean at $9.50 per ticket they better not let the toilets overflow or the kids get unruly...but they keep it in check.
I still love the Tampa Theatre the best. -

Stadium seating? Check.
Clean bathrooms? Check.
Standard AMC snack fare? Check.
Ability to buy your tickets online, thereby saving wait time? Check.
Huge parking lot? Check.
It doesn't leave much wanting, that's for sure. Does it have personality? No, but when I just wanna see the new James Bond or Star Trek movie, I'm not looking for personality. I'm just looking for somewhere decently comfy to plant my butt while I escape into a world of adventure. The AMC Veterans definitely delivers on that front. -

Large. Tickets are pricey, as they are anywhere else. Service has always been decent. Great summer programs.

This place has been my faithful theater for the past 10 years. Veterans was the first mega-theater of the area and it is still running strong. It is clean and large with the obligatory concession stand selling a soda and snacks for the price of your first born, but hey, that's all part of the experience. It can get pretty crowded during evenings on weekends, especially the parking issue. Once you're in you can sit back, relax and enjoy the movie experience AMC Veterans throws your way. If you wanna save a buck, hit up the pre-matinees (before 11 am) on saturday for $5 a pop.
cheers -

To me, this is the best theater in Tampa. It has pretty much everything you want in a theater. Comfortable stadium seats, big spacious lobby, snack bar with enough cashiers, nice size bathrooms, pretty good services from the employees and lots of parking. And it's always nice and cool!
Awwww typing this makes me want to go in there on a Wednesday midday when it's like 95 degrees during the summer and park myself in the seats and watch movie or take a nap, which I've done before.
Besides all that, it has an ice cream shop, and restaurants around it. So it's nice location if you decide to get food/dessert after or before movie.
Oh, and there's also arcades if you feel like killing time or you have little kids you need to entertain before the movie. -

I have never had a bad experience at this movie theater. It's located right by an ice cream parlor, Starbucks, many restaurants, and night clubs, so it is perfect to do other things either before or after you visit. The seats are comfortable and though many teens like to hang out here on weekends, they are not disruptive and tend to be under control. There's an arcade here as well, I have played some good games of Dance Dance Revolution and Resident Evil here.

I've never really had a bad experience at a movie theater but the ticket person was flat out rude... which kinda took away from the experience. Other than that... the place was clean the seating comfortable.... seems like everyone else had a good experience so I hope this was an isolated experience

Wesley Chapel, FL
Large comfortable seats with plenty of leg room. Sound systems that make you insides jiggle and if you're into the new 3D IMAX prepared to be blown away. This movie theater has it all. Not to mention restaurants and cold stone near by. Highly recommended for all.

Love this place. Probably the best theater in Tampa. Staff is helpful in controlling huligans. They have a couple IMAX theaters which is nice as well. At there are all kinds of things located around the theater to visit.

Tampa, FL
Great stadium seating so nobodys head gets in the way, large theaters so unless it's opening night you won't feel crammed. Also, you don't need to stand in line, they have those express machines which take away the annoying time spent waiting for people. Highly Recommended, with Lots of Parking and restaurants near.

Washington, DC
Their IMAX is not real IMAX. It's a larger sized theatre with an IMAX projector. I used to go to this theatre before the IMAX installation and saw regular movies on the same screen. Very disappointing. A real IMAX screen should have been 2-3x the size. I can't believe I paid more money to see an IMAX movie on a standard screen.
Bathroom was dirty.
The theatre itself was ok, but (1) the seats aren't that comfortable compared to others, and (2) there are stadium seating theatres much closer to me that are just as good. I used to go here before there were a lot of stadium seating theatres in the area, but now that I see they didn't install a real IMAX screen, I really have no reason to drive 30+ minutes to see a movie here.
On top of that, they charge outrageous amounts of money for popcorn. The AMC I usually go to charges $4.50 for a small and I thought that was a rip-off. This place charges $5.50 for a small!! Yeh I'm not buying concessions from them when I go to see a movie.
