Convenient location, fun stuff to do.

The theater is newer, like others have said stadium seating which means there shouldn't be huge heads blocking your view of the movie screen.  Like all movie theaters, there's food and it's expensive. The food line can take a bit of time especially if you are ordering chicken strips or anything from the frier (add about 5 minutes of time).

It's clean and worth checking out.  Oh by the way, there's a Cold Stone next door, so I of course would advise against sneaking that into the theater with you :)

THEY HAVE REAL TOILET PAPER!! REAL TOILET PAPER!!!  OMGGGG!!!

We watched Mission Impossible 46: More of Tom Cruise and How Full of Himself He Is at the IMAX Theater. The seats were comfortable and there was ample leg room for my 6'3" companion. Me? At a whopping 5'3" the seat in front of me was just enough for me to comfortably lean my foot on. Cushy cushions, too. That's what they should be right? Cushy.

Floor of the theater gets a 3 out of 5 on stickiness level. You can't win them all.

The bathrooms! Oh the bathrooms! I am not a huge person, but I hate hate hate jamming myself into a bathroom stall and being forced to edge around the toilet (without touching it) and not push into the walls (dirty dirty dirty ick ick). The stalls at Kent Station were spacious! I could walk in, swing around and hang my purse, and do my business.. and then I got to wipe with real paper! This isn't the luxurious Cloud-Soft Snuggle Bear Charmin whatever, but it was textured and actually had squares, rather than the long ubiquitous roll that just goes on and on that you'd have to get a running start on in order to tear off a section.

Kent Station loses 1 star for it's dinky popcorn. Overcooked?? Or something? Can you even do that with popcorn? The salt was lame and the butter tasted bleh. Bonus points, however, for letting me get the kids pack which had the small drink, small (albeit "bleh") popcorn, and the fruit snacks. I have no shame carrying around the little cartoon box that they load all these treats into. I can't say the same for my companion who was forced to walk next to me. You can't win them all.

    Go pee!

Kent Station is SUCH a great outdoor type shopping center.  I love the atmosphere, so when it came time to take my grandson to see Puss in Boots, I chose this theater, even though it is farther from our house than Southcenter.  AMC Kent Station 14 is a fantastic movie complex.  It's super clean with friendly employees.  I love the stadium seating setup.  The chairs are super comfy with drink holders in the armrests.

My only complaint is the outrageous prices on the concessions (not any different from other places, but still ridiculous). $20 for drinks and popcorn for 2, plus a small bag of fruit snacks for the little guy.   There were also only a couple of people working the concessions on a busy Saturday afternoon, which quickly resulted in some longer than should be waits.

But overall, this is a great theater complex and I will definitely return when they are showing a movie I want to see.

Nice theater in downtown Kent with lots of movies showing at any time!  Lots of nearby restaurants in the Kent Station.  As with all theaters nowadays the popcorn & soda cost you an arm & a leg!

For an IMAX theater,  this one was kind of small. It was a over sized regular theater. For $16 I was a little disappointed.  Now with that said, for the area it was good.  It's the only theater that has stadium seating, a must for me.  Parking was easy and we walked right up to the place with ease.  We don't go to the movies much any more because of the price, however if we go again, we will return to this one.

I don't come here *too* often (even though it's fairly close) but parking hasn't been an issue for me each time I've gone. The theater seems to be pretty clean and seats are comfy. I don't typically order popcorn or pop, but I'd expect the price of them to be average, but taste-wise I couldn't tell ya. Location-wise, I like that it's within Kent Station because it gives you a few options of places to eat or shop to kill time if you're early for a movie. It may not be the one I go to the most, but it's a good one to go to I think.

First of all I LOVE Kent Station! I'm somewhat biased to outdoor feeling type malls on a sunny day you just can't beat it!!
Nice theater with tons of screens, seats are comfy.
We typically go there for 3-D movies in anticipation type movies. We luckily have never had an issue with trains sounds coming through. We tend to use this theater for action or 3-D movies so maybe that's why?
3-D Tix are expensive so be prepared!
Anyways for Dinner and a Movie  type "date nights" its a perfect spot!
You can go to "Mama Stortini's" or "the Ram" and catch a flick @AMC and meander about and grab a bench in front of the outdoor fireplace pit and chit chat.

I've been coming to this theater for almost 3 years now and I cannot believe I have not reviewed it.  My wife and I absolutely love this theater.  It's very clean, parking isn't a problem, and it's in a good location for other amenities afterwards or beforehand.

The seating is stadium, so if you want the neck support, this is where you want to come.  This theater is still relatively new and they've done a great job with the upkeep.  Highly recommend.

I love the atmosphere at Kent Station.  It's not like back home, where it's larger but you can surely see the potential if Kent decided to build more onto it.  Granted the weather puts a real damper right now on my more frequent visits, it's stil a place that I bring people outside of going to DT Seattle.

Its a beautiful theater but the prices 4 everything r horsesh--! I love the inside & the general layout of the lobby. The aditoriums r kick-ass! I'm a big fan of the stadium seating! The seats r awesome & I love how they have drinkholders in the armrests. Theres a big parking garage down the sidewalk or a back lot 4 parking so thats a plus! Its nice, but because of the prices I only come here when I've been given gift certificates as a gift or what have U!

Opening night of Harry Potter - the last movie in a long series of movies going on for a decade and this theatre ruined it!!!  The movie broke 20 seconds into the movie, no communication as to what was happening and then they have the nerve to start the movie 20 minutes in an hour and half later.
Our whole family took our mother out for this movie for her birthday.  Her favorite movie saga that came out on her birthday.  We thought this was a perfect gift and Kent Station killed it. Thanks for nothing.
The staff had no clue what to do and although they did offer refunds and a free movie ticket to return anytime, this did not make up the forever ruined birthday gift or the fact that this was a midnight showing.  Not to mention the loss of sleep.  Only true fans go to midnight shows and AMC should of tested the film to make sure these kind of things don't happen.

I'm not going to lie; Kent is not someplace I think of going to like ever.  But when you have a friend who lives in Bonney Lake and another one living Lake City and the three of you want to meet up you kind of pick places you don't normally go to, to be fair to everyone.

Anyways a few Saturdays ago I ended up here to see a movie with the ladies.  The theater is clean, and nice, and new looking and if you see the first show, like we did, on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday it's only $5.00. (I believe all AMC's are this way though)  Anyways the theater had stadium seating, no obstructed view no matter who sat in front of you.  The concessions line moved smoothly and I think the drinks were cheaper too.  The bathrooms were spotless but than again it was still early in the day.  There was plenty of parking and it was free on top of that.  If it wasn't for the fact that it was all the way down in BFE land for me I'd make a point to go see movies here more often.

I love spacey clean theatres with comfy seats!  and arm rests that go up so I can curl up next to my man during a scary movie! =D  another plus is you can see perfectly fine no matter who sits in front of you!  If you like what I just wrote then this is definitely the place for you to watch a movie!  Its great also because you can go early and check out Kent Station itself.  have dinner or just a quick drink before your movie starts!

minus one star because they don't offer any discounts anymore!  sorry students!

    I (heart) the theater here!

The seats are awesome because no matter how tall the guy/gal is in front of you, you're still going to be able to see the entire screen.  (Big brownie points coming from someone who is barely 5 ft.!)

You can get in and see a movie on the weekend for 5$ if you see the first show!!

I've not ran into any disgruntled, snappy or snooty staff which is an invisible high five to self.  All in all, it's a great place to see a movie due to seating organization, screen quality, friendly service and facility cleanliness!!

Nice new theaters with stadium seats.

Great to watch movies there with plenty of leg room and unobstructed view.

Only downside is that movies cost so much nowadays and the food and snack inside is crazy inside.

The theater is cleaner and nicer because it's newer(ish).  But consider this when you go to watch a movie: the theater is RIGHT NEXT TO the railroad tracks.  Second movie I ever saw here a train came through during the film and, as they do when they go through railroad cosssings (again, this theater is next to the train tracks and between James & Smith) they sound their horn.  Great way to take you OUT of the moment in a movie.  But since it's only a 10-15 minute drive from my house, it is nice to have a theater that's convenient.

Hands down my favorite movie theater south of seattle. While its fifty cents more expensive than a regal, the cleanliness and comfort of this theater are grade A.
In the past they allowed outside food and drinks, which would have been cause for a five star...but unfortunately that changed january 1st. Thank god for the girlfriend's large purse.
Unlike many neighbooring sites, I rarely have issues with a disruptive audience...not sure why considering the area, but I'm not complaining.
Most importantly, a.m. shows are only six bucks! This is a killer deal for anybody that has the right schedule. It's also far less crowded.
My last attendance: the jaw dropping visuals of Hubble 3d in imax. Highly recommended.

I went here to watch my very first IMAX 3D movie- How to Train your Pet Dragon.

The movie, I personally thought was awesome on it's own. :)

The theater. Leaving the price of the concessions and tickets aside, that place was awesome!!
The seats were extremly comfortable, the arms ACTUALLY folded up, plenty of leg room, sound system was crisp and clear, picture quality perfect and no glare.

My experience was just what I had read online. I would HIGHLY recommend this theater to anyone wanting to see an IMAX movie - regular style  I'm not sure. Guess I will edit my review when that comes up :)

Next on my experience list- Iron Man 2

Kent station has everything from a nail salon to chocolate shop! I go here at least 3 times a week when I'm in town. I love mama sortinis Italian restaurant and my favorite Is banyan tree Thai food! The movie theater here is clean and well kept, the streets are beautiful and dotted with flowers in the spring & summer. They have ice cream & jamba juice for the warmer months. A coffee shop eith an outdoor fireplace for colder months! It's great for animals, kids & family! Tons of outdoor seating, some fresh cut grass for kids to play in and  a patking garage that is free !

Decent movie theater.  However, I think the stadium seats could be a bit higher.  Another thing, in all of my movie going years- I have never complained about another viewer until this one time.  I went to talk to an employee about a very loud child and was given this b.s. about how if it's a kid, then I should just expect them to talk... Since the mom just gave me a dirty look when confronted, I figured the staff would do something about it...but nooo.  Uhh, sorry but I think a 7 year old should have enough self-control to be relatively quiet for 1.5 hours.  I mean, seriously, raise the bar.

We left two hours after having entered the theater. At two hours, the majority of seats were filled with excited, but tired and somewhat aggressive Harry Potter fans. Finding seats was difficulty -- and our group was separated before the film. We had to leave two ten year olds on one of side of  the theater. When the film broke 20 seconds into the film, AMC intermittently turned the lights off for tens of minutes. At each interval someone would announce that things would be back on track "any minute." And then another fifteen minutes or so would pass. This caused the crowd, already rowdy and excited, to become angry. In the darkness, it was difficult to tell what was going on. Finally two hours into the mess -- luckily no one had been violated in the darkness -- someone began handing out movie passed, and then yelling at each row because the employee shouted, "I have handed out 21 tickets, there are 21 of you, so each of you should have a ticket!" At the point where it became dark, fans were shouting and throwing objects at the screen, someone was moaning about suffering from an epileptic fit due to someone using a strobe light on their cell phone, we left. I'm glad to read Lisa C.'s account and see that no on was hurt. AMC had a very poor ability to deal with the crowd, with expectations around the unexpected "problem" with the projector. The situation felt very dangerous -- intimations of Altmont, New Orleans, or other mass events being handled by poorly trained, underpaid staff.

This is my favorite place to watch movies.  It's brand new, with nice stadium seating, a beautiful big lobby and family restrooms.  Best of all, it's in the wonderful Kent Station, surrounded by different eateries (RAM Cafe, Johnny Rockets, Duke's Seafood, Zephyr Grill, a great pizza place and a noodle place) plus Dilletante Chocolate Cafe and Coldstone Creamery for an after-movie treat.  This is also much closer to home for us!

YAY! The short people can see too!!! It wasn't that long ago that I was the kid straining her neck while sitting on her mom's lap to see the screen, and the Kent AMC is a lifesaver! You could have a 6'6'' basketball player wearing a cowboy hat sitting in front of you and you could still probably see. The theatre is clean and new, with LCD monitors above the concession stand. Of course, it costs $10 dollars to get a simple popcorn and soda, but hey, it's the movies. It is strategically located next to several pleasant casual restaurants for after-movie snacking.
