I've been going to this location for years and I love it.  I guess most people are going to Palladium now in this area so it is almost always dead (yay for less people!)  I have seen popular movies here on opening nights/weekends with no problems finding seating/tickets.

Also, the best thing about this theater is their movie watcher rewards cards!  I almost always get a free item with I purchase my tickets such as a free small popcorn.  Score!!

I've been frequenting this theater for a few years. I love the location, and the fact that it is usually very very clean.

Just like every other theater around, it costs way too much to see a movie and even more way too much to get concessions. But I'm not big on buying concessions so that doesn't bother me too much.

What I love about this theater is the stadium seating. It's a really great way to watch a movie. Nothing too spectacular stands out here, but it's a good, clean choice when you're looking to watch a movie!

I like going to this theater versus others that are close by (Palladium) because there's a lot less people. It's smaller and older (seems to need a deep cleaning/disinfecting).
They do have "staduim" seating which is cool but it would be nicer if the seats reclined.

    No military discount

I usually just go to the Palladium when I wanna catch a movie, and never thought twice about switching to another movie theater. Well, I thought I'd give the Huebner Oaks AMC a try, and my first reaction was WHY DID I WASTE MY TIME AT THE PALLADIUM??

First of all, the tickets are a bit cheaper...The screen, in my opinion is bigger!!....and the seats are so much more comfortable than the Palladium!!!!

If you aren't catching an IMAX movie, skip the Palladium. I'd recommend you head to the AMC Huebner Oaks location.

First showing before noon $5 on weekends and holidays.  Now that's a bargain in the $9 theater world.  Almost every movie I have seen in the last year, I have seen here for the early bird.  Most movies suck anyway, even the ones you expect to be good, so it is an extra kick in the beanbag when you have to pay top dollar for something you wouldn't even waste time on when it gets to cable.

They also run a special where you can buy a $5 concession pass for $4.  It may not sound like much but every little bit counts in these tough economic times.

Still going strong for almost 20 years the AMC Huebner oaks offers clean comfortable facilities with stadium seating inside big theaters.  Usually they are running the more artistic movies.  I've seen There Will Be Blood,  No Country for Old Men, Coraline 3-D, Burn After Reading and UP here.  Always good deals at the concessions, never crowded for the matinee and close enough to Champs to have chili and a beer afterwards.

See I'm not totally lame.  Just partially.

This is a fairly nice place to catch a movie. I've been there many times and have never had any huge issues. They keep the theaters fairly clean and the staff seem friendly.

    I love their early shows.

All in all, a nice place.

There are several other theaters closer to my home but we opted to catch a late playing film. We were thrilled about our choice, the seats were so fantastic for comfort that I can't even imagine going anywhere else again.

My husband's only complaint (about the particular row we were in) was that they did not recline. That's a man for you!
I felt the room was too cold but the film we saw was very action packed which got the blood racing and kept us warm enough.

The prices at the counter were exorbitant as expected at any theater but the staff that evening were friendly, even warned me to return as quickly as possible because they would be shutting down in 40 minutes (so get my soda/popcorn refills right away).

When coming in from the frontage road westbound you don't automatically see it, so make sure you keep your eyes up and drive straight back.
It's surprisingly HUGE when you do get there.

Definitely my first choice for future releases.

Just back from peeping Moneyball at the early showing (10:20AM).
Theater is always clean and the folks are pretty chill. The seats are comfortable, but some seem to keep you at a strange angle. Maybe they should recline a little bit?
Biggest 'ugh' here is for the cost of the food and drink. Always leave feeling taken advantage of! Heck, who can resist the popcorn smell (?!), but the prices are killer!'
Big UGH all around for that!!

AMC Huebner Oaks 24 Theater is a nice place to catch a movie. This movie theater is closest to my house, so I find myself checking the listings here first on date night. There are plenty of screens at this theater and it is well taken care of.

My main problem with this theater is that they usually aren't playing the movie I want to see. It seems like AMC tries to play movies that the Palladium isn't playing (or vice versa) so  both theaters usually have different listings. This is nice because they are offering different options, but it just so happens that I usually want to see something that isn't there. I have been surprised on several occasions that they weren't playing big blockbuster movies that I expected to be everywhere.

Also, it seems like they keep movies there for a REALLY long time. They were showing UP long after I saw it at the Cinemark Theater off of 410 for $1.50. So check elsewhere if you want to see a movie that has been out for a while.

Overall, this theater is nice. It is clean and the seats are pretty comfy. However, I usually end up going elsewhere simply due to AMC's movie selection.

Pros:  Stadium seating, great screens, clean restrooms, huge lobby, and the BEST COMFY SEATS I have ever sat in any theatre in my entire movie going career!

Downfall,  prices for tickets are a bit steep.  I even checked my 2010 Entertainment book for possibly a discount or BOGO but they didn't have one for going up to the counter to pay (where Santikos and Regal did).  I had to purchase a ticket on-line for a movie that was only run for 1 weekend (I didn't want to have it sold out) and had to pay an extra dollar for processing.

I will go here again to see a movie.  Just not my first choice in a recession due to high ticket prices.

It's a theater like most any other.  I did like that my feet didn't stick to the floor and the seats were comfy.  Other than that nothing spectacular.

I'm going to break down the pros first.  I like the overall cleanliness of the theatre.  The floors aren't overly sticky.  I love how in close proximity this theatre is to me.  It's great!  I can grab a bite and drink at the saucer and catch a movie.  The staff is friendly and prompt. I really dig the stadium seating!  Now for the cons.  I wish the seats could recline because it's a little awkward the angle of the seats.  My other cons are really indicative of the movie industry.  Like most gripes people have it can get pricey to see a movie and grab some snacks at the concession stand.  This was what kept me from giving it five stars.  But what can one man do against the machine that is the movie theatre industry...

    best seats. ohmygodmybuttlovestheseats.
cheap early shows (and usually more....mature? crowd).
lower douchebag quotient than the "hot" theaters in town.
parking is pretty easy - from either access road or huebner approach, it's pretty easy to dodge the shopping crowd (especially when compared to Palladium or Northwoods or Silverado or....)
(maybe i shouldn't be writing this review....?)

only kinda crap thing is they can't show the same movies Fiesta has, so sometimes what i want to see can't play here. (but Fiesta ain't bad, either. parking is sooo easy compared to the other clusterf@#$ks in town.)

FYI - Just found out that if you're using your military discount, you have to purchase your tickets from on post/base now - no longer at the window.

AM cinema you are my bestest friend.
Any weekend and holiday these guys charge a mere $5 to see new release movies. (Slightly more for 3D) I get my movie AND a drink for what most people pay for a ticket.
If you join the AMC movie watcher club you get points for every ticket you buy and a free perk with every 10 points you accrue. (They add up fast!!!)
With the addition of AMC Select I have seen some fine "art house" movies at this location.
Theaters are  always clean and there are enough bathroom stalls to accommodate a small army.
Seats are comfortable with plenty of room.
First showings in the AMs are usually sparsely attended. (That's when you'll find me there!!)

They are now offering special now for senior citizens and students. Tuesday flicks are $5 for senior citizens and Thursday's its $6 for students. You can literally walk in with your own beverage, snacks, or food! They won't tell you anything!
