I was recently surprised by the AMC Colonial 18 theaters. Being a longtime customer of them - making the trip out to the burbs while I was attending college at Ma Tech - I remember when these theaters opened and were one of the first ones in ATL to offer the fancy new stadium seating.
I kinda stopped going here (even though I now live a few miles away) when, during the mid 00's, I was entirely disappointed by the upkeep.
A friend convinced me to go back a few weeks ago and I was very happy to see the facility restored to it's former status. The place was clean and the screens were bright. That's all I ask for. -

Always clean and comfortable seats. One of my favorite theaters in Atlanta. The Stubbs program AMC offers is amazing, you should check it out if you have not already.

I like this AMC because it is always clean, staff is friendly, and it has a lot of theaters.
This theater is not as packed and overwhelming with crowds like the Discover Mills AMC theater.
I mainly go to AMC because of their awesome rewards program and the $6 matinees. -

The theater is great, probably a 4 star theater. Minus one star for the prices of the refreshments. I don't have time to go through the finance department to get a loan for that bucket of last week's popcorn that I have to jump in and eat my way out.
I used to go here weekly, but as I get older, cutting back on movies and our society gets less courteous, I have a hard time paying so much for a movie. It never fails that some knucklehead has to text or take a call on the cellphone. Or maybe its a couple that bring their newborn to a loud action movie. If the baby is crying, leave with the baby. If you have to text, sign up with Netflix and quit ruining other people's experiences. -

Great theater. Comfy seats that are still cushy and aren't packed down yet and the stadium seating means you're not fidgeting in your seat during the movie because you're getting numb butt. I've also never sat in a row with sticky floors.

Amc colonial 18 is one of my favorite theaters in ATL. The place is always clean and don't feel dated. I have been at this location for years and just about every 2 years the are always doing some sort of remodeling . It is not as crowed since the new location in discover mills open years back. The staff is always friendly and concession dont take 30 mins like regal. Morning showings is a huge plus and a bargain.

I've been here three times now and I have enjoyed myself every time. It's less crowded than the mall of ga theater which is the greatest perk of all and the seats are really comfortable. Also, the employees are really nice. Every time we go in we're greeted by the ticket taker who actually seems genuine about welcoming us to the theater and telling us what theater our movie is in. The last time we came we were the only ones in our theater and they forgot to start the movie all we did was ask politely and five minutes after we got back to our comfy seats we were approached by a manager and given free passes. Also, I'm one of those people who love seeing movies in the early morning and they always have the 10am showtimes at the matinée pricing. I will definitely be going back.

This theater has the best SOUND & SEATS that I have ever experienced at any theater Ever. The only downfall was the smell of burned popcorn. I absolutely adored this establishment even more than the one at Discover Mills.

I come here nearly every week, and would not go anywhere else. And no, I never have been given any freebies of any sort, unless you count courtesy and friendliness as such.
The seats are comfortable, the sights and sounds are much better than that other theater chain, and the service is probably the best of any of the theatres I attend, save my visits to the Arclite in California, but that's a whole different scale altogether. -

It's a theater, of course, but the seats are always REALLY comfy, the screens are huge, the sound is beyond great, and the staff is friendly -- not just grumpy teenagers.

Not much to say here, the AMC Colonial 18 is pretty much like most newer AMC theaters I have been to. I have only seen a few movies here but all the theaters I've been in are actually pretty nice with stadium style seating and extremely comfortable chairs in the larger theaters. For those that like dinner and a movie there are plenty of nearby dining establishments to choose from for before or after the movie of your choice.
