Absolutely outstanding place.  The ticket prices are wonderful ($2-$3), and they have a great selection for only six theaters.  Every Friday night, they have an older movie playing, like Old School, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, or American Psycho.  The concessions aren't lower priced, but it's because they make all of their money by concessions alone.  Wonderful wonderful wonderful.

Tired of paying full price for mediocre movies?  This summer's best movies are available for just $2!  Ben and I took a trip out to Fort Collins to see Mr. Popper's Penguins and were pleasantly surprised.  The theater was pretty full for four in the afternoon, too.

Not a fan of the AMC 'stubs' card promo they try to force on everyone, but loved the low priced options.  75 cents for popcorn flavoring is so much better than a buck fifty.  Plus, refills on both popcorn and soda when you buy a large.  Including our tickets we only spent fifteen dollars!  I was thrilled.

Transformers 3D is playing there now too, which is weird because I think it's still in the more expensive venues.  We are definitely returning next week to see some other cheap flick I don't want to pay full price to see.  Why wait for DVD now?  This is so much cheaper all around, especially with the increasing costs of NetFlix.

I went to the AMC one evening after a snow storm suffering from a mild case of cabin fever. Here are my points and penalties.
    POINTS
    1. Great price compared to mega -plexes in town....around $2 to $3 dollars depending what showing you go to.
    2. VERY friendly staff. Five stars ***** for excellent customer service since this was my first time to the AMC. They were even enthusiastic to greet / answer ?'s.
    3. CLEANLINESS Above average compared to some of the "dollar theaters" I have visited.
    4. AUDIO -One would have to be a very discriminating person to be aware of a hair difference in the AMC and updated new theaters.
    5. Self -serve unlimited popcorn butter..nice personal touch for customer service.
    6. A rewards program that rewards $10 back for every $100 spent. The rewards card includes a free upgrade on concessions.
    7. Concessions quality - AMC seemed to have a wide assortment of concessions. I brought my own water and purchased a large popcorn at a medium price with my rewards card I purchased. Good fresh popcorn.

    PENALTIES
    1. Not a deal breaker..but, a Charge for flavored salt? Is the price margin so stiff that they have to charge for this?
    2. CONCESSION PRICES If it's a discount theater, shouldn't the concessions be much more reasonable compared to a mainline theater?

Overall, a definite "thumbs up" ...a nice theater with a mainline theater feel at a discount entry price. I enjoyed the experience.

I'm not sure when AMC took over operations, but all in all I think it's a good thing.  The theater is cleaner and more comfortable than it used to be, and at $3 it's quite a bargain for those movies you still want to see in a theater, but that you don't have to see right when they open (lag is at least a few months).

I love this place.  It's cheap ($3 tickets!), and now that it's an AMC, the popcorn and other snacks have improved dramatically.  I love that I can get a soft pretzel and nacho cheese...not even Cinemark can match that.  I do bring my own popcorn seasoning, because theirs doesn't meet my crazy high seasoning standards, and I've had to wait for a pretzel before, but it's definitely worth it.

When's the last time you spent less than $20 bucks going to the movies?  Likely when Police Academy sequels were still coming thru cinemas...

Cinema Saver 6 is my new favorite for date night with The Mrs.  It's within walking distance to my house, it's hardly ever crowded, and IT'S CHEAP!!!  Two tickets, a medium Sprite, and a bucket-o'-corn for about $12 bucks.

Some will argue that the movies aren't first run, or the sound and picture aren't as clear.  We'll you obviously know where that $9.75 per seat is going to at the first-run theaters.  If you don't mind not being the first on your block to catch a flick and aren't a purist for picture/sound quality, come here instead.  This place is just fine.

The one thing that stood out as awesome was Jennifer that came in just before the previews started and welcomed us to the theater, and "if we needed anything to see someone at the snack bar."  Nice little touch that was completely unexpected.

This theatre showcases movies that has been out for a while but not yet  on DVD. $2 per person, you cannot beat that!

FREE refills on $3 Slurpees. When was the last time you got FREE refills on your slurpee?!?

We love this Place. Why pay the high rates at the other theaters when you can go to this theater. Great movies and getting popcorn and treats will not break the bank.

You soooo get what you pay for. If you don't mind old broken down theater with stick floors.. Then this will be fine for you. The free and low price movies are great! I have learned don't wear nice clothes there, cause you don't know what you may sit on, but for cheep family fun this is a great deal!
