Once again Ambrozy accounting has done an amazing job on doing my taxes! The convenient of making the appointment on-line, quick in and out service as well as their willingness to go above and beyond makes me sleep better at night during this season.

My experience with April was completely painless.
I usually file online all by myself, but 2010 was a wonky tax year with multiple jobs, moves, and getting married. My husband and I brought April every necessary document (and even some unnecessary ones) from throughout the year and she tackled our respective piles so swiftly and, seemingly, easily.
She even gave us some pointers that will help us in the future, and admitted that she never would have recommended we do our 2010 taxes ourselves. So we felt good about that.
We felt even better when she told us how much we owed her (nevermind the government). She's incredibly reasonable.
My only complaint is that she asked a couple questions without any context (I didn't know what form she was looking at to have prompted the question!). It made me confused as all get-out and I'm already really nervous about all things financial anyway. We laughed about it later, though. -

I used TurboTax and it said I owed a ton of money, so naturally I panicked and decided to see a professional. I also had a few options about how to file, and I needed someone knowledgeable to help me figure it all out.
I made an appointment for a free consultation just to find out my options, then my plan was to trudge back to TurboTax and make a second attempt, with the knowledge that the huge amount that I said I owe is not a mistake on my part.
I brought in all of my documents, April asked me a few questions, and within a few minutes, my taxes were done. She knew I hadn't planned on having her do them, so she only charged me $100 instead of whatever she would have normally charged (I'm not sure what that is, but I'm guessing $200 or more.) I didn't have any money or checks on me, so I went to the ATM (she doesn't take credit cards.) I was so relieved to have it all behind me that paid her happily.
April is so down to earth and answered all of my questions, and she has a good sense of humor, too. I'm so glad I went to her. -

When your new accountant is located on the 17th floor of a high-rise, you tend to get an ominous feeling. Well, I did anyway, since I had been putting off getting taxes done for weeks. No need to take a swan dive, though. April Ambrozy's love of the color navy (sofas, artwork, even her skirt on this particular day) is evident throughout the modern office and they'll offer you coffee or bottled water when you arrive. She played relaxing music the whole time she crunched the numbers and gave me some pointers for future record-keeping. In case you're wondering, I left with a big, fat return. Woo-hoo. New shoes.

First time there and totally the very best experience I ever had when tackling the "dreaded taxes".
April knows her stuff... Went through my many folders/files, as if they were her own. Also, when reviewing my last year taxes, she found a mistake, which led to extra $$.
Very laid back, comfortable office, totally painless - I cannot rave enough. Have been to quite a few firms, chains and also have done taxes on my own, but I definitely recommend Ambrozy accounting above all!

I had a mound of questions, items randomly categorized in Quickbooks and a lack of an extension cord for my laptop. April was able to problem solve each of issue with style, grace and the quickness, enabling me to keep on top of my business in an invigorated and infinitely more organized manner. Seriously, folks, this woman knows what she's doing and will make doing taxes an informative and not-so-excruciating ordeal.

April is incredible. She is competent and thorough as well as up to date on technology. In addition to that she teaches me how to be more organized and efficient with my time and my own bookkeeping. I've gone from being totally confused and daunted, to totally empowered and informed. Anyone who hires her is lucky to have her on their team.

April is awesome! She is easy going and patient - she was able to answer all of our random questions. She also corrected mistakes we were making on our returns in the past which in turn saved us $$ in the long run.

My wife and I had a great experience with April. She took the time to answer all our (stupid) questions and explain what she was doing, and she still managed to get through our taxes and get us out of there in no time. She's friendly, knowledgeable and, for what it's worth, has great taste in music and art.
