Very good pizza and a nice place to take the kids after a little league game.  Always get reservations as the place is small and fills up fast.  If pizza is not your thing, they make great salads and other Italian plates.  Bonus - very solid wine list!

They were so accomodating to our large party and were super kind to my toddler.  (Most restaurants give you the evil eye when you walk in with a little one, they really went above and beyond to keep her happy!)  The food was good too.... I had the Linguine and Clams and they were super generous with the clams!  Great wine selection also.  Kind of a cramped place when busy, but worth it if you're in the neighborhood!

If our waiter had stopped talking to us long enough to let us eat our pizza while it was still hot, I'd probably give this 4 stars. That's what I get for my New Year's Resolution being not to burn my mouth on hot sh*t. Oh well, at least I came out un-charred.

In summation: Good food, chatty waiter.

Great little Italian joint where you can get a comfortable booth, good pastas or wood fired pizza, and enjoy a really nice wine list! It's great for a date or larger groups (reservations are good).

It's pretty reasonably priced and we suggest the garlic bread appetizer, the caesar salad, and any of the pastas. If we moved away this is one place we would definately miss.

At last, I've found it! I've been on the hunt for decent pizza since moving here in April. I am so happy to have Ambrosia right down the street. Their pizza is FABULOUS. I love the crispy thin crust...so good I actually eat the crust completely, and the yummy sauce. They put just the right amount of ingedients on it and cook it to perfection. It's even good the next day, cold!

I have yet to eat in the restaurant (we like to take out pizza), but I can tell you I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu!

Great neighborhood spot with consistent and delicious old school Italian food (love those meatballs), a fun wine tasting set up where you can taste all you want before you decide, and an ambiance noisy enough to drown out your kids but without making it feel like a mall restaurant.  One of the managers (or perhaps it is the owner) puts on the act where he seems a bit nuts. Yelling, singing, blurting out such things as "no more customers", and generally igorning you at the door if he feels like it. Perhaps its not an act, but we've grown used to it and its actually a bit charming and gives the place some flavor.  Make a reservation or sit at the bar as they can quote waits of over an hour, or basically just tell you there is no room so come back another time. (This falls under the 'nuts' part).  The specials are great too, and they are very accomodating to take out orders.  Its just as good for a ladies night out as it is for a chaotic family of five. Worth the wacks.
