Specialties

Ambience Garden Design provides creative custom landscape design, including hardscape, planting, irrigation and low voltage lighting plans.

History

Established in 2001

Tina Jauregui  first established Ambience Garden Design in San Luis Obispo County.  Working with residential clients, the firm designed many conceptual designs for outdoor living, incorporating Mediterranean, drought tolerant, and native plants.

After deciding in 2006 to pursue her landscape architecture license, Tina accepted a job with a Landscape Architecture and Contracting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area and began attending West Valley College in Saratoga to obtain her degree in Landscape Architecture. She recently graduated with her A.S. Degree in Landscape Architecture in May of 2010.

Ambience Garden Design re-emerged in 2008 in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been providing landscape design and consulting services to local landscape contractors and homeowners.  Tina continues to provide dynamic plant combinations, pairing them with water-resource-management, and low-voltage lighting design.

Meet the Business Owner: Tina J.

Company founder Tina Jauregui grew up pouring over gardening books and trying to envision exactly where she could use each plant in her parents' large backyard in Chico, California.  She knew at an early age that she wanted to work in a plant-related field, but it was only after she took her first design class at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, that she knew she wanted to be a landscape designer.
Besides completing her Associates Degree in Landscape Architecture, Tina just recently completed an Accreditation Workshop in Rainwater Harvesting offered through the American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association, ARCSA. She is currently working toward becoming a certified irrigation auditor.
