The food is delicious and consisent. The price is good especially for the portions. The griot is always on point and so is the tassot. I love coming to eat here.

As a Haitian, I was horrified by the quality of service in this restaurant. After renting the location for thousands of dollars, the welcoming service was simply horrendous. The front porch had not been cleaned and the lighting in the front was gloomy and old. The bathroom in the facility was so dirty that I almost had to leave to go purchase a bottle of hand sanitizer. Thank God my cousin had one. Their waiters were rude and seemed to lack a training in hospitality. It was even more uncalled for, when their portions were so uneven and not filling. I'd have been better purchasing a meal from one of those urbanized Chinese food impressioned stores. I would have saved money and dignity. The glasses they served us were dirty and the plates had traces of previous customers' meals. The place needs a renovation and their staff needs hospitality training. Unless you accept to be treated with savagery and uncivilized carelessness, you should not spend your money in that establishment. I was not impressed, and neither would anyone who wishes service of any minimal ounce of decent quality.

If you are a stickler for good service don't go........ I have been to this place a few times... The wait is always long so don't go if you are extremely hungry....if you have not eaten haitian food before i must say it is pretty close and authentic ...but today I went the service was extremely BAD...we did not get our drinks until our food came out even tough we asked for it ....the manager (who was passing by and we kindly asked ) informed us that it would come out with our food.... :-).the food was cold on both plates only the plantains were hot ...the rice they are using now is a cheaper grain and I can tell the difference ...(after taste). The griot and tassot were seasoned very well but again COLD. In the middle of diner the waitress informed us that she lives far and that she was going to bring us the bill. ...I could only laugh. The funniest part is that the bill was 40 dollars and I gave her a 10 dollar tip. Why you say ??? Just because she was standing right in front of me and waited for me to write. Also I wanted to get a chuckle out of my date. ... :-). My suggestion if you want to try it order and pick it up the emphasis and priority seems to be take out aspect of the restaurant and you won't have to interact much with the wonderful staff lol. SMH ...:-)
