Amber is, without a doubt, the best stylist I've ever had. I had gone through a bunch -- my hair is generally really low-maintenance, and it typically takes a REALLY BAD haircut for it to be an issue... so I always thought that any stylist would do.
But then I met AMBER. She has helped me try all sorts of new things (I tried coloring my hair for the first time with her, and now I love it!), but she also keeps me from doing anything that I might regret (like when I thought it would be a good idea to go from my natural darkdark brown to BLONDE -- she said, "well, let's start with highlights").
I cannot tell you how many compliments I get on my hair style and color -- even when I go weeks and weeks without a touch-up!
Not only did I follow Amber from another salon, but I moved from Chicago to Boston almost TWO YEARS ago, and I STILL insist that no one else does my hair.
She's enormously talented, and a ton of fun. She's the best! (If you ask me, I say she doesn't charge nearly enough.) -

LOVE Amber! She's the absolute best! She knows I like variety, and has done my hair in blonde, brown, red, and even super-blonde! She is a miracle colorist, and her cuts are amazing as well. She is really good about fitting me in after work since that's when it's convenient for me to come - which is really nice of her. I get compliments on my hair every time I get it done (and I do different colors all of the time). People say "this one's my favorite" just about every time. She also did my hair for a wedding I took part in, and it was PICTURE PERFECT.

Amber is great stylist. She is creative without being pushy. She has great intuition for style, and finding a cut that fits your personality and lifestyle. (I love her because she doesn't judge me for NEVER bothering to blow dry...). She is super patient. For example, Amber cuts my hair dry, even though it takes longer because its better for my hair texture...her prices are more than fair and she works hard to be available during off hours so that even if you have a 9-5 gig, you can get in to see her. What's NOT to love?

Amber is the bomb-diggity. I've followed her from another salon and will continue to. She is great about working with your schedule to fit you in and is amazing about working with your hair to get it how you want it. Fun personality to boot!
