    I guess the appeal of a banquet hall like this depends on who's sponsoring your evening out;  however, the place itself seems nice enough.  The staff is friendly, the hall is clean, the cooks do a great job, and there's more than enough parking.

    If I'm ever rolling in money and need to have a party for myself and a couple hundred of my closest friends who own suits, I'll definitely give them a call.

    Went to a charity benefit here for The Danbury Hospital. GREAT food, excellent location. 20's Room decor, Silent Auction, Dancing, Live orchestra , WOW! 300 people in formal attire had one great evening!

History

Established in 1979

Originally the only catering facility in Danbury, The Amber Room quickly established itself as one of Connecticut's most prestigious catering & event venues.  Today, The Amber Room continues its long-standing history as a destination reception and event venue, having hosted Bill Clinton twice, and received "Best of Weddings" awards from The Knot, WeddingWire, and One of the Top Catering Venues in the United States (2006).

Meet the Manager: Todd H.

A thirty-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Todd has held senior level managment positions with Starwood Hotels, Marriott and Hilton, and represented premier catering & lodging facilities to include Saint Clements Castle and The Thayer Hotel - USMA West Point.  A graduate of W.C.S.U. and Cornell University Executive Leadership Program, Mr. Howe has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including the Bill Marriott "Golden Circle Award Recipient" in 1998.  He is an industry member of CSAE, MPI, CWBTA and GDCCC, and volunteers on a regualer basis, including guest speaking engagements.
