I heard this remarkable woman for the first time in Elise Lorimer's yoga class at Valencia Yoga Tree and am in awe. Her music enabled me to flow in my practice so much further than my usual. Between Elise and Amber, I truly had a profoundly deep experience. What luck! I hope she continues accompanying Elise more and more. If you decide to take this incredible opportunity and go to one of Elise's classes where Amber is playing, don't forget to bring a donation!

I took the Free Your Voice workshop with Amber, and I really loved it -- she taught us all a lot of practical voice techniques, but also focused nicely on the connections between voice and spirit. Best of all, Amber created a safe and playful space where everybody got to express themselves without fear or judgment...the perfect environment for taking in the lessons being offered. I'd highly recommend this series, or Amber as a one-on-one teacher, to anyone hoping to use their voice expressively, especially folks who may have inhibitions around using their voice.

The multitalented and energetic Amber Field combined her knowledge of bodywork, breath work, and song to help me heal my neck in an awesome 1-hour session yesterday. I will definitely recommend her to friends and loved ones and definitely use her services again.
I have some serious tightness and stress in my neck. Who doesn't? Amber started me off with a breathing exercise that helped me relax and stretch. Then she did some focused massage that really opened up the most painful area. As a bodyworker, she is skilled and responsive to feedback.
Next, we chanted! Then we sang! Opening my throat and singing with a gentle and enthusiastic coach brought warmth, joy, and palpable healing to the part of my body that's always working so hard to hold my big, heavy head up!
Amber's truly creative and inspired in her work. If you'd like to explore healing and creativity with a collaborative and skilled partner, give her services a try. I'm so glad I did, and I feel great today! -

Amber is just awesome... She lead a workshop that was very freeing in many aspects. Before I knew it I was singing and using my voice with so much more confidence and freedom. The change came very fast too. I am very grateful for what she has done in terms of my singing improvement.
The other thing about her workshop is that it was so much fun.. Amber attracts cool, fun and free people and her workshop only shoot up from there.
Again, I would gladly take another workshop with her and would highly recommend her. -

Wow! WOW!
I'm talking about Amber Field's Free Your Voice workshop! Amber has created a totally safe space in which our group found the trust and freedom to open up and express ourselves to each other in ways that would be considered by many folk wildly over the top--stuff ya always wanted to say or do, but were afraid of people would think. In the past 8 weeks I have learned to dig deeper to find parts of myself that have been longing to be expressed, I have gained a better awareness of nonverbal communication at group level and I reclaimed my spirit of playfulness. AND, best of all we laughed our asses off.
I sing, but this is not necessarily for singers. Amber has given us an arsenal of tools for using and developing our voices for self discovery and healing as well as for singing. For one night each week for eight weeks, there were no "wrong" notes, no social constraints, no judgements--just freedom to Be.
Do it! You'll be glad. -

Amber has a voice of an Angel. And she is an angel! In her 'free you voice' class, she holds a safe space for all to express themselves. time flies in her classes - that's usually is a good indication!

Amber is a caring, creative, spontaneous, and flexible teacher. She makes her classes a safe space for everyone to explore in their own ways what is best for their own vocal processing. This class can help you get out of musical/vocal ruts you didn't even know you had, and help you understand how communication doesn't always rely on language. At the end of the class series you may not know any of the personal details of your fellow students' lives, but you will have a distinct idea of their personality based on how they sing and act in class. Singing in this group is just an inherently intoxicating and often cathartic experience. An extremely beautiful experience recommended for musicians and non-musicians alike.

Thank YOU Amber and the beautiful community of singing, opening, playing beings who created a most wonderful space for exploring our voices. From gospel to Kirtan to free-form noise making, Amber lead our group through traditions, genres, and comfort zones with compassion and playfulness. She easily moved us through sacred chanting and then into silly exercises that awoke our deepest expressions and inner child. It was a truly unique space where I felt comfortable to be completely honest and expressive with my voice. There is enough variety so you don't get bored, but also enough structure and consistency so you feel like you're learning. After 8 weeks, I feel more comfortable singing, but more importantly, I'm convinced of the power of my voice, both on it's own and as part of this community.

As a guide into healing by way of sound, Amber is at once a grounded leader and one of the group. She very comfortably shifts between teacher and participant in a way that moves the group forward and holds the space while adding her personal story and vibration to the group dynamic. I felt connected to myself, the group, humanity and the universal vibration at times. At the same time, it was just uncomfortable enough in certain moments to really create some internal openness. The structure she created, the way we explored sound, was clearly a reflection of her own path yet universal at the same time.

Amber's "Free Your Voice" Workshop is the *favorite* part of my week. I look forward to it allll week. I never sang before. And, now I love to sing. And, this class is so much more than just a singing class: we chant together, we sing together, we open our voices, we help each other be authentically and fully expressive. I felt different in my body the whole rest of the week after the first class. This class has had an impact on my life way beyond singing: I am speaking up more and speaking more freely in the rest of my life. Both "Yes" and "No" and everything in between. I was drawn to the class because the title "Free Your Voice" resonated with me and where I am at in my life. This class truly does free your voice. I'm going to take it again, and am bringing all my friends. Amber is a truly gifted and talented and incredibly perceptive guide and teacher. If you miss this class, you're missing the class of a lifetime.
