Seriously yummy and upscale chocolates.  This isn't for the fast food crowd.  Amber Chocolatiers has chocolates for connoisseurs, chocolates for people who like the finer things.

Spoil yourself or your significant other with a piece or two.  It's worth it.

A coworker and I stopped by and bought 4 flavors.  Honestly, if you'd blindfolded us, we couldn't have told the difference between the passion fruit and the pomegranate.  The Aztec, which combined chili and apricot..why the apricot?  Would have liked to have tasted just the basic chocolate without flavoring, which is the real test for me.

Sorry to say we won't be going back.  I've had better chocolate for half the price, which was almost $7 for the four pieces.

Seems like a nice guy, so go check it out and tell me I'm wrong.

We walked into this shop after lunch down at Gindi Thai.  When I asked how long they'd been around, the friendly guy who runs it informed us that he'd been open for about an hour and a half.  We were his second customers ever.  And you'd think I would've gotten his name after all the samples he gave us, but we were totally occupied with the dizzying array of chocolates.  The flavors run the gamut from classic to completely out-of-the-box.  I had a mango chili chocolate that was sweet until I swallowed it, when the chili kicked in.  Some flavors, like "bacon," are for only the truly adventurous (which apparently included me this afternoon).  I like the colors of the place and the friendliness of the owner, and the chocolates look and taste like they're truly a labor of love.  Definitely a splash of class for Burbank.

The chocolates here are absolutely remarkable. I stumbled into this shop by chance back in February and the owner very generously offered me samples and helped me put together a beautiful selection of pieces as a gift for a friend. Yesterday I received two (!) beautiful boxes of these small works of art for my birthday--better than any "special occasion" cake I have ever had.

Because the shop is so inconspicuous I worry that they may not be well known to anyone other than regular patrons of businesses and restaurants on this street. Do yourself and the neighborhood a favor and support this one-of-a-kind small, local business. From now on, this is my go-to place for a very special hostess gift or birthday present.
