Amazon is my best friend.
I'm also a Amazon elitist snob because I'm a PRIME member.

Best place to buy your complete cook-book arsenal, which will bring both pleasure and insane joy to your days and nights....
Plus, paying full price for anything these days unless you have to is so 2004. :)

How exactly have I not reviewed Amazon.com yet? Crazy. Amazon fuels the consumer whore deep inside me. It's convenient, prices are typically pretty good, and the reviews available for most items are incredibly helpful. It's amazing how many different types of things I've purchased from Amazon. We're talking sheets, pots/pans, a DVD player, an out of the box DVD/stereo/speaker system, books, CDs, DVDs, a 37" LCD TV, a food processor, etc. Seriously, the list goes on and on. And you know what? I have only encountered one issue with all of my orders, and Amazon replaced that item quickly and without a hassle. So Amazon keep rockin' and I will happily continue to give you my hard earned money.

You can always depend on amazon.com You can't beat the free shipping if you purchase more than $25. The shipping times are fast and I usually find my textbooks cheaper on here and sell them back without the bookstore ripping you off. From apparel to who knows what, you would find it here. The customer service is great too. Fast turnaround time for electronic only correspondence. They do have a phone number if you are antsy to get immediate satisfaction, put the search criteria in a major popular search engine and you can find it right away.

Retail is dead.
Also of note: the wishlist feature. My birthdays are no longer filled with bad sweaters and books my mom wants me to read.

Amazon rocks. The product reviews are extremely useful. The Wish List feature is nice for keeping track of items you want and to find out what other people want. It's the perfect place to purchase expensive items, such as computers and electronics, as you don't have to worry about paying tax. I mainly browse the books and CDs; a vast majority of them are discounted, so it can be well worth the few days wait to save some cash than to pay retail just to have it in your hands that second.
In my experience, service has always been excellent. Even with free delivery, I receive my order within a week. And I've returned several items and have never had a problem.
(I hope I didn't just jinx myself.)
My favorite place to buy CDs and books. Fast, easy, cheap and reliable. Good selection of used books and cd for cheap cheap cheap.
Damn, I love this place. Free shipping for orders over $25. So you don't see what you've ordered for a week or so. No matter, there's no sales tax and shipping is Free. Free. My absolute favorite Four Letter Word. Sorry Love, but you've been replaced with Free as the word that makes people feel all warm inside. You can find just about everything on Amazon. Makeup, noodles, even baby toys. And they're always having some kind of discount promotion, in addition to the free shipping. All you have to do is click, sit back and wait for about a week, which is what it takes to deliver to the Bay Area, even during Peak Christmas time, and voila. A package has arrived for you, filled with all the goodness that you chose with your handy dandy computer. Aah, the joys of modern conveniences and the bliss free shipping can give you.
Def first place to shop online, I highly recommend getting Amazon Prime, it pays for itself after just a few orders... I just wish more items qualified for Prime... like video games, I think the reasons I don't play video games is because I can't get them shipped free or 2-day with amzn prime!! LOL!
i love amazon.com!! i swear, they sell pretty much everything here...from books, music, clothes, electronic, and the last i checked, even food. and their prices are great too! But my main purpose for amazon is usually for books and dvds. they have amazing selections of everything, and you even get the option to buy the item used or from cheaper venders. this is great especially for some out of print products, like videos or dvds. before you go "damnit!!" because the product isn't available on amazon, you'll often see a third party selling it. buying from amazon is amazing simple, it can often be accomplished with just one click. it's also rather helpful reading customers reviews, i like to hear what people have to say on some of the products that i'm interested in.
The best online store there is! You can find almost anything you want, usually at a 50% discount. Quick shipping, and no tax. Why shop anywhere else?
