I simply don't visit my parents w/o stopping at Amato's.
Large double on wheat, no olive, lite onion, s&p, mayo (no oil) is my crack! Pazzo? YES!
This is another place my husband and parents also love, so getting large portion, quality food for this cheap is an all around winner. -

Every time I've been to an Amato's, I've had some very excellent food. I think I've been to this one the most often as it's closest to my in-laws' house. Anyway, I've usually gotten an italian or one of the other meat-and-cheese sandwiches. Delicious, satisfying, filling. They're a little difficult to eat, though, if you're not accustomed, as there's so much meat and stuff to stuff into the bread... as if that's a bad thing.
