Amanda's Kitchen is a tiny diner which has become my standard destination for breakfast when staying in Providence.
Orders are taken and food served, along with conversation, by Amanda herself. You can get a good breakfast of 2 eggs, bacon and hash browns for $3.00. A ham and cheese omelet and hash browns will run you $5.
A delicious American breakfast, the cheap prices and the unique atmosphere created by eating breakfast elbow-to-elbow the locals all combine to make a great experience. It beats any greasy fast food franchise or hotel dining room packed full of boring business types.
